At that mont, a large hand slapped her on the shoulder. Lan Shan turned around to see a sleazy-looking man standing behind her.
Her face turned cold, and she slapped away the hand on her shoulder.
The man grinned mischievously. "Quite the temper, huh? How about you hang out with us? We can treat you to a drink, what do you say?"
Lan Shan frowned, not wanting to engage with such people. She helped Gong Shaoyu up and was about to leave. At this mont, several people ca out of nowhere, blocking her path.
Lan Shan said coldly, "Move."
"Hey, miss, don’t get mad. We just want to buy you a drink, no hard feelings."
What a load of crap...
She cursed inwardly. These people obviously weren’t any good, nothing but a bunch of hooligans.
"Move."
Another man with red hair approached her, eyeing her lasciviously. "Miss, have a drink with us, what do you say?"
"No, thanks." With that, she supported Gong Shaoyu and was about to leave.
The group blocked her way, surrounding her and Gong Shaoyu, occasionally getting handsy.
Lan Shan frowned, exceedingly repulsed by them. Surrounded, it was hard to break free. Her eyes darted around, trying to find a way to escape.
At this mont, Gong Shaoyu opened his eyes, looking at the people surrounding them, and asked, "Who are they?"
"I don’t know them."
"Oh, then let’s go back." He glanced at the group, as if they were just air to him.
His look infuriated them, and one of the n cursed angrily, "Damn... what kind of look is that?"
Gong Shaoyu stood up straight, glanced at the man, and asked, "Who are you?" His tone was light and indifferent, as if he didn’t care about him at all.
"I’m your daddy," the man cursed angrily.
Gong Shaoyu’s eyes turned cold. He lifted his foot and kicked the man in the stomach, a faint smile on his lips.
The man was caught off guard and fell to the ground. Taking advantage of the mont, Gong Shaoyu grabbed Lan Shan’s hand and ran toward the door.
"Chase them! Damn it, grab him back for !"
Furious shouts echoed from behind. They didn’t even need to look back to know how angry they were.
The two of them ran out of the bar, randomly darting into an alley. The alley was dark, and since Lan Shan was wearing heels today, it wasn’t long before she stumbled over sothing and almost fell.
Gong Shaoyu quickly steadied her and asked with so concern, "Are you okay?"
She stood up straight and looked at him through the dim streetlight from outside the alley. His eyes were clear, not at all like soone drunk.
"Brother Gong, weren’t you drunk?"
Gong Shaoyu smiled, "I was drunk, my head is really dizzy."
