"Brother Gong, have you arrived?" Lan Shan asked, knowing that by now, Gong Shaoyu should have already reached Arica.
"Yes, just arrived," Gong Shaoyu responded.
"Did you watch the press conference this morning?" Gong Shaoyu asked.
"Yes," Lan Shan nodded, then realized she was on the phone and Gong Shaoyu couldn’t see her nodding, so she added, "Xinluo was very calm after watching it. She asked
when she could be discharged and ntioned that she plans to go back to work once she’s out."
"Brother Gong, do you think that Xinluo is trying to take Jingxi back?" Lan Shan voiced her suspicion.
Gong Shaoyu chuckled, "You know her well."
"Not too bad." Lan Shan chuckled, thinking that if she couldn’t see through those thoughts of Xinluo after knowing her for so many years, she wouldn’t be called Lan Shan.
She pondered for a mont, then said, "Brother Gong, I want to ask you sothing."
"Go ahead," Gong Shaoyu said, holding the phone with his left hand, leaning against the seat.
"Was Beichen Rui’s sudden press conference ant to draw Xinluo out?" Lan Shan voiced her thoughts openly.
After watching the press conference, nothing seed right, leading her to this conclusion.
"What are your thoughts? Tell ," Gong Shaoyu was surprised that Lan Shan’s thinking aligned with his.
Now he’s not concerned that Xinluo might lose her calm and run to Beichen Rui because with Lan Shan around, she wouldn’t let that happen.

At this mont, the car stopped; they had arrived at the Gong Family. He then told Lan Shan over the phone, "I’ve arrived, I’ll hang up now. Call
if anything happens."
"Okay." With that, she hung up the phone, stood on the balcony for a mont, and then returned to the hospital room.
