"Shut up, Lisa!" Dove clasped her friend’s mouth shut with her own hand as she recovered from the shocks of her friends words.
And then turning towards Dante, as she eyes t she gave him an apologetic smile, drowning in embarrassnt. Though Lisa was ’whispering’, it was obvious that Dante heard it all.
anwhile, Dante who was equally shocked and stunned hearing Lisa, he too recovered from the shock to see Dove looking at him giving him an embarrassed smile. With lots of emotions going on in his mind, he did not know which one to hold and which to let go. He pressed his lips into a smile and nodded his head before he cleared his throat catching the attention to both the won and said, "I will go and join Gavi. Both of you can please catch up." And he walked away.
"Oh holy-" Dove clicked her tongue, before she looked at Lisa who was grinning her teeth out and had completly misinterpreted the situation, she chuckled and said, "It seems he is also close to Gavi. Nice, nice."
anwhile, Dove who was already embarrassed to the ends of the earth and back, she taked and sighed before shaking her head, "Lisa, I am not dating him!"
Lisa blinked her eyes and raised her eyebrows and then her lips turned into an ’O’ in realisation and she nodded her head, "Oh? So you both haven’t yet moved on to dating stage yet. You both are still at talking stage? Hm, hm, acceptable. Though I would be happy that you have finally started dating, I would also be feeling betrayed that you did not tell about it. Since you both are still at the talking stage, i feel better to have known it earlier." And she again nodded her head as if she understood it all.
While Dove looked at the woman who was also her best friend in horror! Heavens, why does she not listen to her before making her own theories and believing them herself?!
"Lisa, it is nothing like that! Mr Lancaster is my bodyguard." Dove said out in hurry in case this woman just cos up with another theory of hers.
Lisa’s eyebrows raised again, and she nodded, "Oh, I see. So he is you body-" And the she stopped, freezing. She looked at Dove in disbelief and gasped, "Wait, what? He is your what?!!"
Dove took a step back, on Lisa’s reaction. Though it was still better than having being tied in a dating rumour with the distinguished man she just t yesterday, but still after hearing the truth, isn’t it too much of a reaction?
"He is your WHATT?!" Lisa repeated herself again, with her eyes going wide, anwhile, Dove gulped, seeing the expression on her face, and she stamred, "B- Bodyguard."
"Since when?!!" Lisa exclaid again, and Dove visibly flinced. Hey! Why was she being so hyper all of a sudden?
Having a bodyguard was more shocking and horrying to her then having a boyfriend?! Well, it was because having a boyfriend ans Dove was romantically involved with soone and there was butterflies and happiness in Dove’s life.
But having a bodyguard was vast different! It ant that she was in danger!
"S- since yesterday." Dove answered, and Lisa held her hands and asked, "Why?! Dovey, tell , is everything alright? Are you going through sothing? Why didn’t you tell ?"
Dove sighed before she went on explain what had happened yesterday and how Senior Sterling had asked Dante to be her bodyguard, and what else happened.
Lisa listened to whatever Dove said and she finally understood, "Oh? So your grandpa arranged you a bodyguard as you have newly being promoted as the CEO, and he is dead worried about your safety?"
Dove nodded her head and said, "Yes, this is what it is."
Lisa sighed and said, "Well, I can understand. And though i haven’t interacted with your family, I can sowhere understand given the greed of people for your position. But yet," Lisa pouted before saying, "That man is too handso to be just a bodyguard, huh."
Dove pressed her lips together. She hadn’t told Lisa about Dante’s real identity. Because well, there was no need to first of all. And he or grandpa had also not done so.
And then Lisa said again, "Tell , Dove, this man is very charismatic and good looking. Why not date him in real? You say that your grandpa likes him like his very own grandson. So he would definitely have no problems with you both getting together, isn’t it?"
Lisa then giggled and said, "With his good looks and your stunning looks, if you both get together, I can see how Gavi is going to have equally beautiful siblings. Hihi~"
"Lisa!" Dove gasped, asking her to keep quiet. She did not want Dante to hear anymore of this. She was already embarrassed enough earlier.
"Hey! We have only t Mr Lancaster yesterday. Let’s not act so perverted!" Dove looked at Lisa from the corner of her eyes.
To which Lisa narrowed her eyes and said, "What perverted? The man who gets you would be the luckiest man on the planet, alright! If this man gets you, then he should kiss the ground your walk on."
Dove chuckled, listening to the high pedestal her friend was putting her on. And she shook her head, "Stop talking like that, Lisa. Just your saying doesn’t make that happen. Beside, it is not a one way thing or sothing like that. For people to be together, there must be feelings involved between two people. And we have just t each other.
Besides that, Mr Lancaster is also his own person. What if he is already committed? And he has soone in his life already? Moreover, Lisa, I am soone with a child. People have their own preferences. They might not want a woman with a child already, and that it their opinion. We don’t know anything so let’s not just join to sby conclusion.
And if I ever take a partner, more than a husband to , I would want a father for my child."
