"Yes, as they had nothing really to do about it. But everyone would need to know about it and do their works accordingly knew about it. All my other employees were already working hard. They did not need to get stressed over it.

The other employees present there, blinked their eyes before pursing their lips and blushed. Hihi, they got praised by their chairman in front of the dia. And it was a nice feeling.
Then another one of the report person asked, "But Senior Sterling, are you simply passing the position to your granddaughter just because she is your granddaughter or because she is really capable of handling the position, you think?"
This was one of the most common questions asked to the businessman, whenever they were in a position like this. And Senior Sterling was at no expectation.
He smiled at them, wrinkles appearing on his face. His smile was kind and he laughed a little.
It was a simply question, but the way it was answered would sothing an and imply a lot of things.
Then rubbing his slightly shaking hand together he said with a smile, "Well if you ask it like that, then I will have to say that it is both of it. Dove is my granddaughter, and I naturally have more inclination towards her to pass my legacy to her."
His answer made a lot of them raise their eyebrows looking at him. And then Senior Sterling who wasn’t done yet, spoke, "But that doesn’t an that I would pass the blood, sweat, and tears of my life and my late son’s, if she wasn’t capable of it.
No matter what, and who it is, family or not, along with having familial love, we should also have a sense of responsibility and moral toward the company and the other employees who work for us." And that made a turn of Senior Sterling’s words and he smiled.
Then the projection board lit up, catching everyone’s attention to it. Senior Sterling turned toward his granddaughter, smiling at her a little, and a them said, "These are the achievents that Dove had to herself, according to what I and the board of directors as well as the executives have co to the decision of giving her the position."
And what screen on the projector screen was amazing. It showed what ever Dove had achieved, what projects she had led while she was working under Senior Sterling while schooling. And also how she was the managing director of the international branch of the company while she was doing her higher studies.
And it also ntioned the successful projects amd improvisent done under her.
Senior Sterling looked at the faces of the other people and had a proud smile on his own. Hmph! His granddaughter was the best.
And after a mont, everyone had a smile on their lips and the nodded in approval. It was really impressive for soone as young as Dove Sterling.
Then the question session continued and they ca to Dove. "Miss Dove, what do you have to say about your new position?"
Dove smiled at them all, before she stood up, and slightly bowed at everyone and said, "I don’t reall have anything to say. All that I am really very thankful for the position. And I hope to do my best in my tenure for the betternt of the company and that I can stand up to the expectations that everyone has for ."
The hall was at awe for a while. She had a beautiful smile. It was the first ti most of them had seen Dove, and her smile was just too enchanting.
anwhile, Jacob and Noren sneered and scoffed at her. They were people who were not at all pleased by the setting. And what made them more upset in the setting was that, they had co to know that almost all the higher ups in the company knew about Dove’s arrival and taking over the company today.
Yet noone had even ntioned a word about it to them deliberately. It straight away threatened their worth and place in the company, as Jacob he himself was one of the directors and yet had kept him in dark.
Then he looked at a certain person in the line of the reporters and when that person looked back, hd raised his eyebrow signalling sothing with his eyes. And the other man nodded his head.
As Dove was speaking and answering to a question that soone else asked, he waited until she was done, before he asked, "Miss Dove, it has co to so of our ears that you have a son? But from what we know, aren’t you unmarried?"
And suddenly the whole hall turned silent. None of them thought that this rumour would be brought up at the press conference here.
Few eyes fell on the reporter asking the question, but he just had a simple smile on his lips. His eyes fell on Jacob who smiled at him in encouragent and the man looked even more fierce.
Dove kept quiet as she raised an eyebrow. Last night, it had too co to her hearing that a rumour had gone around about her son. It was a little surprising initially because she wondered his this rumour got spread in the company, when not many people reallg know about it. But then she rembered sothing and it felt clearer to her. And that was another reason why Dove had brought Gavi along with her, but not allowed him to be here.
She wasn’t sure about the press conference earlier, but now that she thought about it, she made the right decision.
If it has co to so, then she might just bring her son, and introduce him to everyone. After all, it wasn’t a rumour completely.
