Dove for a mont didn't know what to say. She opened her mouth, and closed it again, not sure what she co out of it.
"You want to be my friend?" Dove said and then saw Lisa nod her eagerly. "A special one?" And then she again saw her nod her head with her eyes shining.
This was the first ti soone was approaching Dove in this way, and she couldn't help but chuckle. Then she eyed at Lisa teasingly and asked her, "But... Why should I make you my friend?"
"You told that it would good for you to have as your side as a friend. And that perhaps I could even help you. You find trust worthy and what not. But what do you have to offer , Lisa? Why should I do friendship with you?" Dove asked, with questioning eyes, and a humoured smile on her face.
Lisa stared at Dove, listening to her, before a frown settled in middle of her forehead, and she nodded her head smally, and murmured, "Ah! You are right! Why would you be friends with ? You aren't looking for one?" Lisa thought for a while, before her eyes shone as she thought of sothing and she asked, "Well, then if I prove to be useful to you, then would you accept my offer?"
Dove squinted her eyes at her and then chuckled before saying, "We'll see." She thought that Lisa was rely joking. But what she did not know that after a couple of months, she would co to her with a handful of evidences and give it to her saying, "Here! Listen to , Dove." She held her hands, as Dove was looking at the pictures and videos that Lisa had given her intety with a big frown on her face. "Listen, I am not giving you these pictures to ruin your life. Or because I am jealous or anything. But I am giving it to you, to save your life."
Lisa glanced at the pictures, before looking back at her and said, "Your fiancé, Roan Davis. I am not saying that he is a terrible man or anything. But he isn't good enough for you. He is already sleeping around behind your back. As a girl, I wouldn't want you to continue this engagent. See, Dove. Though, I started this investigation about you to help you with sothing. But I found out about it. And this is no longer about friendship. You be my friend or not, it doesn't matter now. All I want to say is that, the evidences and proofs are all in front of you, Dove. And you are a smart girl. You know how to make decisions for your ownself."
Lisa, after saying her piece, looked at Dove with concern. She was expecting her to be sad or maybe cry out. After all, no matter how strong or badass a girl is, she cannot accept her man to be cheating on her, like it is nothing at all.
But to her surprise, she saw Dove chuckle before she started giggling. Lisa nodded her head and blinked, "What? What are you laughing for?"
Dove smiled as she looked at Lisa and laughed, "Thanks Lisa. This was sothing I needed."
"What?!" Lisa exclaid. And Dove nodded, "Yes. I did not need the engagent anyway. Though I don't have any intentions to show this all and make a huge rukcuss. But well, who knows how it might co in handy. I am waiting for the perfect ti." She said.
And who knew this could co to use in this way!
