"Sothing more? What is it?" Dove blinked her eyes, and asked curiously, wanting to know about it. She could hear Lisa grin on the other side of the call, and knowing her friend, she could also imagine her rubbing the nose with her index finger. Then she said, "There were many people who auditioned for these role, even a few big A list celebrities, though I am also a well known na now, included. But the amount of happiness I am feeling is more not because I won against so many people. But because, I won against I particular soone, who in truth in not so significant in my eyes."
Dove blinked her eyes, before her eyebrows raised, wondering who was the person her friend had so much issue with. Because, Lisa was no really the kind of person to look down on people unless she had so serious beef with them. "And who is that wretched person?" Dove went on with Lisa’s flow, well because Lisa was her friend. And they had a rule, that if you hate a person, I hate them too, no matter if I have never t them.
Lisa sneered a little, and the drawled, "Take a guess." Dove blinked her eyes, and thought about a few people whom Lisa did not like in the industry. After all, Lisa had been working in this industry for four years now, this field is not were you don’t make enemies and rivals. In fact, many people played dirty here. Shrugging Dove said, "I have a few nas in my mind. You just tell ."
Lisa snorted a little, before she said, "It was that Nova! She was also auditioning for the sa role as ! I don’t know if it is just pure coincidence or does she really try to co and put her disgracing self wherever I try to be?!"
Dove blinked her eyes, before murmuring softly, "Nova? Who?" She quite couldn’t rember at once, though she already knew that this one was already one of those nas that Lisa would sotis complain about. But she did not rember the details very clearly."
Though, Dove’s voice was soft, Nova heard her clearly, before she tsked and said, "Ah! That one that I was talking about last ti, who looks so bitc- wait!" Lisa stopped abruptly, before she went dumbstuck for a mont and looked at the phone once to make sure if she was talking to the right person.
Dove too glanced at the phone, which displayed the on going call, before she spoke, "Hello?", wondering why her friend would go silent all of a sudden.
Then Lisa spoke once more, "Dove, you really don’t rember that woman, Nova?" Dove, who could clearly hear her friend judging her through the call, pressed her lips together, not knowing if it was a big deal, and she spoke with uncertainity, "Uhm? Is she soone important to be rembered?"
But then all she heard from the other end was a dismissive clicking of Lisa’s tongue and then the latter said, "Nah! No one important to be rembered. I was just surprised that you don’t rember her, even after sotis ranting about her to you. Though, I feel that it is a good thing."
"Okay..." Dove drawled, though she tried to rember who was this Nova in question. And Lisa as if already knowing what was going on in her friend’s mind, said, "It was that girl, whose birthday party you had visited. And whose birthday turned out to be the fateful day that your life changed it’s entire track."
And hearing that, Dove froze for a second, mories flooding back in her mind again.
No, she had not forgotten, but she did not let herself rember all the small details much as she busied herself under mountains of work and responsibilities. Moreover, the things that happened at that ti, and then those that followed were so huge that those small and insignificant matters and people were not rembered by her.
Honestly, initially, Dove did not even think much of that girl. That girl, Nova suddenly ca into her life and started to wanting to be her friend all of a sudden. And Dove had just gone with her flow. And then at that party she felt sick all of a sudden, which was suspicious to Dove, but she still did not hold it against it. Because after she had done her research, though she could not uncover the truth, she had co to the clarity that the man with her that night had nothing to do with the forr.
And Dove would in fact not think anything about her too, if not for the fact that, how she had co to her house the next day along with the Davis’s and tried to get her non important self validated. And all Dove rembered was that, that girl had really pissed her a lot.
"You rember her from then on?" Dove blurted out, asking Lisa. And on hearing that, Lisa scoffed and said, "Of course, I do. And in fact, that is the reason why I particularly hate her." Lisa had a lot of competition in the industry, and that was expected, but the only reason Nova was able to enter her hate books was because of Dove. And for so reason, Nova seed to reciprocate that feelings to her. They never talked to each other much. But it was more of a ’just can be felt’ things.
"You don’t know Dove, but that woman, I just feel off about her from years ago, when I first saw her. I did not even like her at school. And believe or not, she did have ill intentions towards you. Even back then when she was supposedly your ’friend’, I had that intuition that she is soone fishy. And then did you not see, how she sided with that Roan to bla on? Does a friend do that? Humph! Now you can’t tell that I can’t hate her, okay?!" Lisa finished her ranting with a harumph.
