Dove entered the washroom, and after closing the door behind her, she splashed water on face many tis, as if trying to clear her mind with that water.
After a few splashes, she looked up to see her reflection on the mirror. Water droplets flowing down her face, and Dove gritted her teeth. That man! What the hell has he done to my thoughts!
And Dove scoffed before she ran her fingers through her hairs and said, "Doesn’t he know that he shouldn’t behave like this with soone when he already has soone in his heart?" Dove pouted, but the next second the pout disappeared as her lips pressed into a straight line, and she sighed again, "But he, he did not really do anything questionable. If seen in a proper wat, then he only stood and behaved like how a good friend would in any situation."
Saying so, she still pouted for her a while, before she scoffed and let out a big sigh and put both her hands of the sink’s platform! Staring at her reflection with so much intensity, she spoke bitterly, "It’s all you, Dove! You and that idiotic brain of yours! Since when have you beco a pervert! Can’t you think of anything else except a man for the whole day?!" Dove berated her like she had never before! At this mont, she was truly on the verge of tears. After all, Dove couldn’t control her thoughts and pace of her own heart, whenever she was near him. She took a deep breath once more, and shook her head before saying, "No! No! That’s enough! I have to do sothing about myself now."
And what was the most absurd about this whole thing was that, she realised it like bomb thrown on her. And it has not even been a twenty fours that she has realised that she perhaps has feelings for this man, and she already can’t control her thoughts!
Horrible.
Dove sighed one more tis, before she wiped her face, and then reapplied her makeup that got washed away after she washed her face. Glancing at her reflection one last ti, Dove nodded her head one last ti, before ntally thinking, that now she had to hold on herself more tightly.
When she walked out of the longue area, she found that Dante was waiting for her in that sa spot, looking towards the door, and he said, "Dove, about that I didn’t-" but before he could complete what he was saying, and Dove cut his words and said with a small smile, "Dante, I have a eting. I am running. We will talk about it later, alright?"
Dove looked at Dove, his lips curved downwards looking at Dove sadly, but then he eventually nodded his head and agreed. After all, she really had a eting and that was more important. Moreover, he had a lot of ti in his hands to apologise to Dove and talk it out. They even lived in the sa house after all.
And he followed her out of the room, to the eting room. And when she entered, Dante saw that the not everyone was present in there yet. He furrowed his eyebrows, before looking at his wrist watch to see that, there was still a couple more minutes left for the eting to comnce. Dove to stood at the door for a couple second, as she analysed the surprised and shocked faces of the people there, and she then entered the room, going to her chair to take her place.
The light chatter that was there in the room, got completely wiped out, as the Boss appeared, and everyone turned silent and more professional.
As a Boss, Dove would arrive to the eting a couple minutes later or exactly at the ti of the eting comncent, so that everyone was present when she arrives, and they get the work started imdiately.
But the way, she was flustered today, it would not be an exaggeration to say that she had flee here to get away from Dante. After all, Dove had just decided to be more stricter to herself and Dante’s presence. And she were to stay there a mont longer and then heard his charming voice again, she was sure that the decision that shee made only a while ago, would co crumbling down at once.
Dove was convinced that maybe, if she was more stricter with herself and perhaps if she lowered her unnecessary interaction with Dante then this short term interaction would go away. And thinking of that she ntally nodded her head.
anwhile, the others at the office looked at Dove and then at each other. The serious face she had right now, and the way she was thinking, made them wonder if everything was well. This woman was so young in age, but the way she looked and behaved sotis commanded respect and no nonsense drama, which even made the higher and aged executives bent.
And at that, they internally wondered if they had so kind of bad news going on behind the scene that they were not aware of. Because apparently the company was in a good mood after it’s sudden assets increase and multi million dollars project revival. And the eting was also arranged to discuss the next course of action.
The new comrs, who arrived, were initially walking in with the carefree deanor, swinging their hands and chatting with their fellow companion, as if they were taking stroll in the park. But just when they noticed Dove already present there, they straightened themselves, and walked in, in a more respected manner, after greeting.
Many of these executives glanced at her from the corner of their eyes, and internally tsked. At tis like this, they could clearly see the reflection of Senior Sterling on Dove. But at the sa ti, they were also happy about it. If Dove was like Senior Sterling than they knew that the future of the company was in good, safe and trusted hands.
