Romance and marriage? Dove stared at him and he looked back at her with curiousness. Dove sighed before she simply shrugged and said, "I think I have already told about it to you before. Gavi will always be my first priority, Dante." Dante nodded his head and said, "I know that Dove, but you must have thought sothing about yourself too."
And at this, Dove went quiet for soti before she spoke again, "It is not that, that I have closed the option of romance already. I just did not get ti to think about it or entertain it. Everything just happened one by one. And then, I had my career and studies to do. But what I actually believe is that, maybe I did not find the right person yet, I don’t know. Sure, my son is my first priority. And I would never accept anyone in my life that doesn’t accept my son. But then again, even if soone is ready to accept Gavi to co in my life, maybe even his real father, if I am to be completely honest, I don’t think so it will be easy for to accept him in my life, if I have no feelings for that person."
After all, Dove was also a young woman. She would not normally admit it, but she too had a dream of finding the love of her life, experiencing little romantic monts, get married and have a happy and settled life. And unfortunately or fortunately, she did not find that feeing when she was with Roan. Though, despite knowing that Roan had been cheating in that engagent she did not think much of it. After all, she too did not have any plans to continue the engagent and then get married with him in the future. Maybe if the Davis family had not reacted like that, and the situation would be much more toned down, then perhaps, Roan and she would have been friends.
But anyway.
Dante looked at Dove and she did not even have to elaborate herself and he already knew what she wanted to say. So, he smiled at her and asked, "So, if you find the right person who makes you feel butterflies in your heart, and also accepts Gavi whole heartedly, and you are ready to marry him, right?" Dove looked at Dante smiling, her dimples deepened and she simply shrugged. Isn’t it obvious?
Then all of a sudden, Dove giggled and mildly shook her head saying, "I don’t even know why I am saying all of this to you. If if I rember correctly then I haven’t even talked about all these with Lisa."
And at this, Dante too smiled. Internally, he was so happy and pleased hearing that.
Then, Dove too glanced at him curiously and asked, "Dante,"
"Hm?" Dante humd looking at her, and saw her scooting a tiny bit towards him and asked with curiosity shining in his eyes, "So Dante, how about you? You have asked and known so much about . Don’t you have soone in your life too? You know soone romantically." And when he heard her ask that, he froze stiff like a statue. His eyes slightly widened in disbelief that she would directly ask him that. But then when he saw her curiosity marred face, his face softened. He did not even imagine her asking this question to him. At least, not so soon.
But that did not let him not feel diddy with happiness. And oh lord, only Dante knew how much he just wanted to reply with that one word ’You’ at that mont.
Taking a little ti, and staring at her beautiful, curious face, he also tried to calm his racing heart and nodded his head slowly. "Yes." His word almost coming like a whisper. "I have soone in my life. Though, we are not committed, and she doesn’t even know about it yet. But I believe that I will win over her heart very soon. You know what, Dove, I love her. I love her very much. So much so that maybe I can not even imagine my life with out her. And if life put in a situation where I have to give it all up just to get her, then I will willing give up my everything, without a second’s thought."
And Dante said all of this, staring straight into her eyes, as if to let her know how sincere he is with his words. Dove felt like she was in trance, and sohow she could feel the sincerity in every word her said. And without even realising she blurted out, "You like her so much?"
"My lips can’t even express just how much."
The two of them stayed in that position for a little while, before Dove blinked her eyes, and coming back to her senses. She opened her mouth to say sothing and then closed it back unsure of what to say. And then she smiled at him, and nodded her head at him saying, "That is so sweet, Dante. I really hope and pray that the woman you love so much, likes you back. And your wish co true." And hearing the blessing from Dove’s lips, Dante’s eyes lit up, and he grinned thanking her.
Dove looked at the happy grin on his face, that made his face look even more charming. She could see that he really appreciated her saying that. And though she had a smile on her lips, in side her heart, she had a strange discomfort. A feeling that she was not liking at all.
Taking a deep breath, she smiled again, and this ti she stood up, and looked at him and said, "Dante, it’s getting late, I should now be going. Bye. Good night."
Dante looked up at her, his eyes soft and nodded, "Good night, Dove. Sweet dreams." Dove looked at him one last ti, before she turned around and went.
He continued to sit there, looking at her retreating back and whispered, "The blessing you gave just now, I hope the heavens hear that. Because it is only you that can make it co true, darling." And whatever happened since morning today, it filled Dante with an unexplainable fervor and confidence to make Dove his, as soon as possible
