"Of course, Mr Davis. And just to clearify, I am not trying to get rid of the fact that I have slept with soone last night." Dove blinked her eyes saying, before the corner of her lips stretched into a smirk and she said, "In fact, if I may add, I liked it." Dove just spoke rentlessly bold, without holding back, making all their eyes go wide in disbelief. Though, in reality, she did not even rember what happened last night. But what dis she lose if her saying those things would raise their blood pressure?!
Then slightly raising her hands, Dove said, "Alright, keeping that aside, where were we? Ahh! Yes," She then looked at Roan and her smiled widened, "Dear fiancé, we were talking about you, aren't we? Isn't this the world of gender equality? So if you are allowed to have so enjoynt out of this engagent. Why do I need to apologise for it?"
Roan, who stood stunned at one side, fear creeping in his heart slowly that Dove wasn't really bluffing about all this, given her level of confidence.
But he still stood his ground, and he said in a rough voice, " Dove! You are crossing the line! Stop with this nonsense!" Roan almost yelled.
"Yes, Dove! Roan and Nora have seen you other man with their own words. And just to change the topic if you are trying to involve Roan into it, it doesn't beco true just because you say that again and again. You need to show the proof, and not stop showcasing this attitude here. The won in your house don't act like you." It was Mr Davis, who spoke now. Even though, he was trying to be respectful towards Elder Sterling, he too couldn't stand there watching her trying to slander his son.
Dove turned towards Mr Davis and nodded, before she stood up, "Of course, Mr Davis, I have the proof." And those of hers froze everyone there in their places. And she started taking steps towards Roan. But before that, Dove stopped, as a big frown settled on her forehead and she turned back at Mr Davis, and raised and eyebrow. "Mr Davis, I think you are highly mistaken about sothing. The won in your house don't have this attitude. And I am not a woman of your house, nor do I want to be. Thank you."
And saying her piece, she looked forward, before looking at Roan, and she cleared her throat, "Actually, I have been wanting to do this for a long ti, but couldn't find a proper timing. But today it seems, it is a goof opportunity as everyone who is involved is here." But the reality was that, along with what she said Dove couldn't find enough courage to bring out and speak, but today was just perfect.
Nd she pulled out her phone, before rummaging though sothing, before she turned her phone towards, them all, specially Roan, "Hey, isn't this you?" Roan who focused his gaze on the phone, looked at the picture that she was showing and his eyes slowly widened. After a mont of his frozen deanor, he gulped, still not knowing how to react.
Dove looked at his expression with satisfaction, as her smirk widened and then she turned towards Cara Davis, and she said in a fake sweet tone, "Mrs Davis, weren't you asking for a proof? Here, I have a lot of them. Co, co~"
Cara Davis wasn't standing too far from them, and she could already say that her son has ended up doing sothing stupid, with what Dove was showing so confidently.
