Jing Qiao was quite pleased when it was ti for the broadcast of the episode and she invited Su Lu over to watch it together at her place.

Although Bo Jingshen wasn’t interested in the programs his sister participated in, he was very interested in keeping his wife company, so except for when he needed to work, he spent the rest of his ti happily stuck to Su Lu’s side.

Therefore, he still ca along with them. Su Lu and Jing Qiao watched the program while Bo Jingshen sat with Song Boyuan at the side tea table, drinking tea and chatting.

Setting aside the fact that Song Boyuan is a bit crazy, as long as he doesn’t go berserk, chatting with him is actually quite pleasant.

"Why didn’t you invite Ruoruo to join us?" Su Lu asked.

Jing Qiao helplessly said, "She didn’t want to. She said watching her own program by herself is fine, but if other people are there, she feels embarrassed, so she refused to co over. Besides, her injury hasn’t healed yet..."

Hearing about Jing Ruo’s injury, Su Lu sighed softly.

Jing Qiao turned on the TV, and on the huge living room screen, Jing Ruo’s program began to play.

It happened to be at the airport scene. Su Lu recognized Jing Ruo’s thermal bag as looking familiar; the designs of the lunch boxes and thermal bags at Jing Qiao’s house were all this pattern.

She turned to ask, "Did you make that for her?"

"Yep, she ca over that day, and I packed quite a bit of food for her. I was also worried about her living alone and not eating properly. Who would have thought she’d be whisked off by the production crew as soon as she left, so she probably took it all with her," Jing Qiao said with a smile.

Su Lu was surprised, "Isn’t that a sure win? I heard that the hardest part of this show seems to be finding food... But to be fair, our Ruoruo really is beautiful. Even on such a large TV screen, her looks don’t falter one bit."

Jing Qiao laughed, "Indeed, her idol is quite good-looking too. No wonder Ruoruo likes him."

"He is handso. I heard he’s been among the forefront of those ’Most Beautiful Faces’ lists for several years running," Su Lu comnted.

As soon as they said this, the two n who were sitting nearby drinking tea beca displeased.

Their gaze was substantial, and when they both turned to look straight at them, Su Lu and Jing Qiao both noticed.

Su Lu shrugged lightly, and Jing Qiao covertly stuck out her tongue, giving a light cough, "But I think my Mister is more handso. Honestly, I’ve never seen anyone with phoenix eyes as attractive as his."

Su Lu imdiately chid in, "I think your younger brother is good-looking. After all, he was the campus heartthrob at the science and technology university, and even now his appeal is still formidable."

After hearing this, the two n stared at them for a few more seconds, seemingly satisfied, and then turned their heads to continue drinking their tea.

Having a husband with such strong possessiveness, who even cares if you complint another man’s looks, is truly a sweet burden.

On the TV screen.

Jing Ruo explained, "Mainly because I saw the episode where they were eating earthworms."

Gao Han: "... Fine, let’s leave that for when we get to the task."

But after boarding the plane, Jing Ruo noticed that Gao Han seed uninterested in the airplane al.

She still took out a food container from the thermal bag and placed it in front of Gao Han, "Mr. Gao, have this instead. My sister made it, it tastes better than the airplane al."

Actually, Gao Han didn’t disdain the airplane al; he simply wasn’t hungry.

But he still didn’t refuse her kindness and accepted it.

Once he opened the food container, he suddenly felt hungry.

Frankly, given her sister’s skills... Gao Han suddenly understood why the capricious President Song was so utterly devoted to her sister.

The lunchbox filled with a boxed al and snacks was not only delicious but also beautifully plated.

Just looking at it would make anyone’s mouth water, and the photographer even gave it a close-up shot. Gao Han then looked up at the photographer and asked, "Are you drooling?"

The cara then clearly shook a bit, evidently because the photographer was laughing.

Su Lu turned her head to Jing Qiao and said, "Maybe after this episode airs, you’ll beco famous."

On the screen, by the ti they had arrived at the transit city for their task, it was already evening. Because they were flight guests, their departure ti was naturally later than that of the regular guests.

The regular guests had already started filming, while they, as flight guests, were on their way to the filming location. In the next segnts, they would join the regular guests to film and complete the tasks.

So basically, after arriving at the transit city, there was not a mont to rest. They went from plane to coach bus, from coach bus to minibus, and finally got on a local’s tricycle, rattling their way into the village.

Bo Jingshen happened to glance over just then and couldn’t help but click his tongue, "This is no less a journey than to the West in search of scriptures."

Su Lu and Jing Qiao both burst into laughter.

Jing Ruo had never been to such a place before. At first, she found it novel, but later on, it beca tiring. Yet, she didn’t complain, rely letting a slow trickle of innocent and aggrieved emotions show in her round, doe-like eyes.

It wasn’t enough that they rattled into the village in a tricycle; upon arrival, a dark-skinned local ca to lead them into the mountains.

"Into, into the mountains?" Jing Ruo bit her lip, clutching her thermos bag tightly, while Gao Han carried the other two for her.

"But it’s getting dark already," Jing Ruo asked earnestly.

The dark-skinned local had a heavy accent but seed very honest and cheerfully told her, "That’s precisely why we need to hurry and take you into the mountain. It’ll be harder once it’s completely dark. You still have to set up your camping tents and such once you get there."

Then two bulging backpacks were placed before them.

Jing Ruo blinked, beginning to understand, "So it’s not just off-roading, but also weighted off-roading?"

The local didn’t quite understand what she ant by off-roading, but laughed good-naturedly, "Better hurry up."

Jing Ruo huffed and puffed as she hoisted a backpack onto her shoulders.

Gao Han watched as the tall backpack, which stood even taller than her head, was strapped to her back.

Gao Han offered to carry it for her, but Jing Ruo declined.

The main reason was she didn’t want to stir up any trouble from Gao Han’s fans—there was no need for such haste when they were all in the sa boat.

Plus, she didn’t want Gao Han to look down on her. Jing Ruo wasn’t foolish; she could see that Gao Han’s previous words to her, laced with barely noticeable mockery, were likely because he thought she relied on connections without any real talent or ability to endure hardship.

It seed like Jing Ruo was holding back a breath of determination, feeling that she couldn’t lose face, especially not when participating in this program with Gao Han. No matter what, she couldn’t let him think she couldn’t handle hardship.

Gao Han gave her a glance, his eyes that were famously expressive hiding an inscrutable depth.

Jing Ruo admitted to herself that she had no ability to decipher those eyes and quietly continued carrying the backpack, following the local ahead.

But soon enough, Jing Ruo understood. The expression in those eyes just now was probably pity or sothing similar, right?

Because...

"Why won’t Ruoruo let him help? How can she carry that for five kiloters on foot?" Su Lu frowned as they watched the show’s post-production team adding a map on the side. From their location to their destination... it was exactly five kiloters.
