Wang Hao recognized it as Qi Shihan’s voice as soon as he heard it.

Suddenly, he rembered that he had been so preoccupied with the matter of the century-old Ganoderma that he had forgotten to tutor her.

"Hey, madam, could you lower your voice!"

Wang Hao said helplessly.

"Are you even a man? You have no sense of responsibility at all. Why can’t you keep your promises!"

Qi Shihan shouted angrily at the door.

Hearing Qi Shihan’s words, Xia Xue’s expression changed, and she looked at Wang Hao with a puzzled face.

"Don’t get the wrong idea, she’s my student. I promised to give her extra lessons, but I forgot to go because sothing ca up."

Wang Hao hurriedly explained.

"You still have ti to give people extra lessons? You have a ton of your own studying to do."

"One would be a fool not to earn money that’s up for grabs."

Wang Hao said with a smile and walked out with Qi Shihan.

"What?"

Xia Xue was full of confusion. This man could easily hand out hundreds of thousands to others, and yet now he was pinching pennies by tutoring.

She really couldn’t understand what he was thinking.

"My dear young lady, please, stop making a scene. Haven’t I told you? I’ve been very busy these past few days and might not have ti to tutor you."

No sooner had they walked out the door than Wang Hao sighed helplessly as he looked at Qi Shihan.

"No, you must co today."

Qi Shihan said angrily.

"Why won’t you listen? How about I return the tutoring fee to your mother, and I don’t earn this money?"

"That’s not possible!"

Wang Hao was puzzled. What was up with Qi Shihan today, acting capricious like a princess throwing a tantrum?

"Then give a reason."

Wang Hao, seeing her stubbornness, felt helpless.

"If you don’t tutor , my mom will send to the county town, then you’ll never see again, and I won’t be able to play with Lin Lin anymore."

Qi Shihan pouted with a hint of crying in her voice.

"I really have been busy these days, you saw all that equipnt waiting for to deal with it. Hurry and go back ho."

Wang Hao’s patience was wearing thin.

"So, are you going or not?"

Qi Shihan was still pestering him.

"Not going!"

Wang Hao completely lost his patience, having too much on his mind to deal with the endless pestering of this young girl.

After hearing his answer, Qi Shihan was stunned, and tears began to spin around her eyes.

She then ran off toward Su Lin’s house, wiping her tears as she went.

Watching her run off into the distance, Wang Hao thought that she must be going to Su Lin to tattle.

"Right, I should share so of the money from selling the centipedes with Uncle Su, since he helped out."

Thinking of this, Wang Hao went inside to get the money and then followed to Su Lin’s house.

"Is Lin Lin at ho?"

As soon as he entered, he t Su Zhenping coming out. Wang Hao looked around but didn’t see Su Lin or Qi Shihan.

"Stop looking, Shi Han just ca crying and dragged Lin Lin out, I don’t know where they’ve gone."

Su Zhenping said, putting down the herbs he was holding, as he saw Wang Hao’s eyes darting around searching inside.

"Uncle Su, this is the money from the centipedes. Take it for now, when the ti cos..."

Before he could finish, Su Zhenping grabbed the money and stuffed it into his pocket, without showing any sign of politeness.

Wang Hao noticed Su Zhenping seed off today, acting strangely as if soone had upset him.

Just as he was about to ask, Su Zhenping cut him off.

"What are you still hiding from ?"

Wang Hao was perplexed by the question and felt an ominous premonition in his heart.

"Last ti, you said you were bitten by a centipede, but I saw no reaction. Then you claid you might have been mistaken, but today, I personally saw you get bitten, and you’re still completely fine. How is that possible?"

Su Zhenping stared at Wang Hao, asking with suspicion.

Caught off guard by Su Zhenping’s sudden question, Wang Hao froze, unsure of how to respond.

The villagers might be ignorant and easily misled.

But Su Zhenping was extrely knowledgeable about dicinal materials and dical theory; deceiving him would be impossible.

Wang Hao considered whether to tell him the truth. He had always felt that if he wanted to expand and strengthen the dicinal material business, he would need to find soone with expertise.

He himself was but half-versed in these matters and had thought of partnering with Su Zhenping back in the county.

"This..."

Wang Hao was still hesitating.

"Tell the truth. Did you find another Blood Ganoderma and eat it?"

Su Zhenping asked indignantly.

"What?"

Wang Hao was stunned by the question but quickly realized what was happening.

Su Zhenping must have assud he had consud Blood Ganoderma to beco immune to all poisons.

So he quickly changed his story, "This... you’ve noticed that too?"

"I knew it! Only Blood Ganoderma could have such a miraculous effect, making a person immune to all poisons. Blood Ganoderma is a treasure beyond price! How could you bring yourself to eat it!"

Su Zhenping looked regretful, having believed Wang Hao’s words.

"At the ti, I didn’t recognize it. I was hungry and exhausted on the mountain, so I ate it to stave off hunger. How was I to know it was Blood Ganoderma? If I had known, I wouldn’t have eaten it even if you killed ."

Wang Hao lied without batting an eye.

Su Zhenping wasn’t really listening to these details; he just felt a deep sense of regret, as if it pained both his heart and liver.

He couldn’t help but lant that Wang Hao was such a lucky lad, always stumbling upon good fortune.

First, it was encountering the centenarian Lingzhi—he had gone up the mountain so many tis and never found one.

And then there was the Blood Ganoderma; he had gone to such lengths to find a young plant with them.

Yet Wang Hao, sohow, had found another one on his own, and eaten it.

Was it really just luck? Su Zhenping didn’t think so.

"Uncle Su, don’t feel too bad. Let tell you so good news."

Wang Hao changed the subject.

"What good news?"

Su Zhenping’s mind was still grumbling about how all the good fortune seed to fall on this lad’s head, and he glanced at him sidelong.

"Uncle Su, actually, I also want to use greenhouses to grow dicinal herbs."

Wang Hao intentionally tantalized Su Zhenping’s appetite to see his reaction.

As soon as he heard that Wang Hao wanted to grow dicinal herbs, Su Zhenping instantly perked up and listened carefully.

"Growing vegetables in my greenhouse is just to sustain expenses and accumulate farming experience, but ultimately, I want to grow dicinal herbs. However, I don’t quite understand the trade."

Seeing that Su Zhenping was hooked, Wang Hao continued his assault.

"But Uncle Su, you have the knowledge. You not only understand dicinal herbs but also know the market. If..."

"If what? Spit it out!"

Su Zhenping, impatient with Wang Hao’s halting speech, began to urge him on.

"Hehe, Uncle Su, don’t rush . Let explain slowly. I want you to help oversee it, to control the quality of the dicinal herbs, break into the market, and when it cos to profits, you can na your percentage. What do you think?"

Wang Hao looked at Su Zhenping with a face full of anticipation.

"You better start planting them first,"

After much contemplation, Su Zhenping responded.

He knew that growing dicinal herbs could be very profitable, but it required significant investnt. Where would Wang Hao get so much money?
