"You’ve made unreasonable demands just for your family’s own benefit, and you still bla us?"
Chen Hongying was not showing any weakness either.
"Anyway, my terms are right there, if you’re renting then hurry up and pay, if not then get lost. I didn’t force you to co here to rent, but it seems you’ve been here more than once, wasting my ti each ti, don’t you feel ashad?"
The young man yelled.
"You!"
It was the first ti Chen Hongying had ever seen soone so unreasonable, and it had made her quite angry.
At that mont, Wang Hao ca over and pulled Chen Hongying to his side.
"You just go get your things ready to move in, no need to waste your breath on him!"
Wang Hao spoke softly.
Chen Hongying was stunned when she heard this; the business manager hadn’t even agreed to lease it to them, so how could they just move in?
Did Wang Hao really plan to agree to the young man’s terms and stop doing the traditional Chinese dicine business? But if he wasn’t doing the traditional Chinese dicine business anymore, why would he spend so much money to rent such a big office?
The young man was also taken aback by Wang Hao’s words.
"I’m saying you haven’t paid the money or signed the contract, on what grounds are you moving in?"
The young man asked loudly.
"Based on the fact that I’m saying this office is already mine!" Wang Hao said, casting a cold glance at the young man, clearly running out of patience with him.
"You’re seizing soone else’s property; I’m going to call the police and have you arrested right now!"
The young man glared at Wang Hao, pulled out his mobile phone from his pocket, and prepared to dial the ergency number.
Seeing this, Chen Hongying grew worried because they indeed hadn’t signed the contract or paid the deposit yet, so legally speaking, it really was an occupation.
If they really did call the police, they would certainly have to take responsibility.
"Maybe we should leave for now!" Chen Hongying suggested to Wang Hao, worried.
"What’s there to be afraid of? No need to rush!"
Wang Hao waved it off nonchalantly.
Instead of leaving, Wang Hao found a chair, crossed his legs, and sat down quietly.
"You sure are arrogant, let’s see how bold you’ll be once the police show up," the young man said to Wang Hao, smug after finishing the call.
"Today I’m going to let you act tough enough!"
Suddenly, several people hurriedly ca in.
One of them, dressed in a suit, looked like a manager, while the others were police officers.
"General Manager, what brings you here today?"
The young man greeted the suited man eagerly, bowing and fawning as he approached.
"Where are the custors who wanted to rent this office?" the General Manager asked breathlessly, wiping the sweat from his brow, obviously in a hurry.
"Right here, it’s this guy!" the young man quickly pointed at Wang Hao, now that the police were present.
"It’s this man, trying to seize soone else’s property. Take him away quickly!"
Seeing that the police had actually co, Chen Hongying couldn’t help but start to worry.
But when she turned to look at Wang Hao, she saw he was still sitting leisurely, legs crossed, smoking a cigarette, seemingly at ease.
The more Chen Hongying thought about it, the less she understood Wang Hao, how could he remain so calm in a situation like this?
With the police already there, how could he manage to get out of this one?
"Stop right there!"
To everyone’s surprise, the General Manager who had just arrived yelled out, pausing everyone for a mont, but Wang Hao remained unfazed, as if this was all within his expectations.
"If anyone is to be arrested, it’s you, you bastard!"
The General Manager went up and slapped the young man.
"General Manager, why..."
The young man was stunned by the slap.
"From today on, this office belongs to Mr. Wang Hao. He won’t have to pay a penny in rent, and the utilities and property fees are all waived!"
The general manager spoke loudly, wiping sweat with a tissue all the while.
"But General Manager, wasn’t I in charge of this area?"
The young man was not ready to give up.
"You?"
The general manager sneered before continuing.
"As of today, you are no longer an employee here, imdiately pack up your things and leave. Also, the company car that was assigned to you will be taken back, hand over the keys now!"
"This..."
The young man furrowed his brow and blinked, seeming not to have processed what had just happened.
"Dad, how will you take to my exam if we don’t have a car?"
The young man’s child tugged at his hand and asked.
"General Manager, you can’t treat like this, I have devoted myself to the company’s developnt for years—no credit, but surely so hard toil. How can you just tell to leave?"
Finally catching on, the young man pleaded with the general manager.
"Telling this is useless, this was a decision made personally by Chairman Wen Yong, who also said not only will you be dismissed, but your legal responsibility will be pursued!"
The general manager could not even be bothered to glance at the young man now.
Out of all people to offend, why did this kid have to offend Wang Hao? It’s one thing to dig your own grave, but don’t drag others down with you.
The young man suddenly rembered the phone call Wang Hao had made previously.
At first, he thought Wang Hao was just posturing, never expecting that Wang Hao actually knew Wen Yonglin.
What surprised him even more was that Wen Yonglin personally handled Wang Hao’s matters, which sufficed to prove a close relationship between them.
As he pondered, the young man’s legs gave out, and with a "thump," he knelt in front of Wang Hao.
"Brother Hao, you are like my own grandfather. I didn’t recognize Mount Tai in front of and didn’t realize your esteed presence. I am a small-minded, blind fool!"
The young man belittled himself as worthless and then clutched Wang Hao’s legs, begging pitifully.
"Brother Hao, please have rcy, think of the old and young ones depending on and spare this ti. I really cannot lose this job; how else will I be able to provide for my family?"
"Get off, don’t dirty my clothes!"
Wang Hao couldn’t care less about the young man and simply pulled his leg away.
But the young man refused to give up, still begging earnestly.
"Dad, didn’t you say this guy was a ’loser’? Why are you kneeling to a ’loser’?"
The child of the young man couldn’t understand and looked at his father with confusion.
The young man did not know how to respond because Wen Yonglin’s high regard for Wang Hao ant that Wang Hao could certainly not be an ordinary person, and definitely not a ’loser’.
Rembering what he had previously told his son, the young man deeply regretted it.
"Indeed, I’m just a ’loser’ who can’t afford a car, kneeling before won’t help you."
Wang Hao said mockingly.
"No, no, no, you’re not the ’loser’, I am the ’loser’, Brother Hao, please show rcy, I really cannot be without this job!"
The young man looked distressed, his tears nearly falling.
"I think this job isn’t quite suitable for you; how about I introduce you to a new job?"
Wang Hao smiled with ill intention.
"What... what new job?"
The young man said, shivering with fear, sensing an ominous premonition.
"I’ll refer you to beco a construction worker on a building site, carrying bricks!"
Wang Hao said leisurely.
"Every brick carries a few cents; carrying tens of thousands a day, the pay isn’t bad!"
The young man realized that Wang Hao was mocking him and knew that he was surely going to lose his job and that his days of lording over others were over.
Looking dejected, the forr arrogance of the young man was completely gone, and now all that remained was the dismal task of departing.
"Hold on, you haven’t handed over the company car keys!"
As the young man passed by the general manager, the manager extended his hand.
With no other choice, the young man took the keys out of his pocket, handing them over reluctantly to the general manager, feeling like he had lost everything in an instant.
But it wasn’t over yet, as a police officer stepped forward, asking sternly.
"Who was it that called the police just now?"
