Now that Ding Li wasn’t around, Wang Hao planned to take advantage of the gap to test the power of the purple dragon pattern.

He looked around and finally chose a less crowded table, fearing that the noise from too many people would affect his performance.

The ga being played at this table was a simple one of comparing sizes, with the house running the ga, and Wang Hao first watching from the side.

He noticed that the dealer would lose one round for every two rounds won. Although the wins weren’t substantial, they were wins nonetheless, and it seed that most of the gamblers’ money would end up in the dealer’s pocket.

"Old Sun Er, you’re having so good luck today."

The muscular man standing aside saw that the other two players had lost and been taken by the dealer, Old Sun Er, and said with evident envy.

"I paid my respects to Guan Er Ye early this morning, praying for good luck, and look, Guan Er Ye has granted my wish. Unlike you guys, who only think about fondling breasts in bed all day long."

Old Sun Er mocked them, making the surrounding gamblers laugh.

The muscular man touched his head embarrassingly, having lost quite a bit already, but he was still not giving up.

"I’m still betting on small, damn it, I don’t believe it won’t co up small."

With his eyes closed, the muscular man blew on the money in his hand and placed it on "small."

"Think carefully, no changes after the bets are placed."

As Old Sun Er said this, he shook the dice cup, a sly smile on his face.

Everyone watched as the muscular man had lost several rounds in a row and didn’t dare follow his bet. Seeing him bet on small, they all placed their money on big.

Old Sun Er saw that everyone had placed their bets and, with bated breath, lifted the dice cup, "Four, five, six, big!"

"Damn it, I’m done playing!"

The muscular man slapped the table and stood up, preparing to leave, obviously having lost all his money.

With a smile on his face, Old Sun Er said to the muscular man, "You’re giving up after just a few rounds? Co on, if you’re out of money you can borrow so from Boss Huang to tide you over, who knows, you might win it back on the next bet."

Old Sun Er pointed to Huang Shancai, who had a close relationship with the gambling stall here.

Each year, half of the interest from the loans Huang Shancai offered was shared with the gambling stall, so they didn’t have to worry about debt collection, and could continue doing their own business with the interest.

"Forget it, forget it, I’ve already borrowed a thousand from him, and my wife doesn’t even know about it yet. If she finds out, she’ll skin alive. I’m just too unlucky today, I’m not playing anymore."

The muscular man sighed and left reluctantly.

The gamblers nearby couldn’t help but sympathize, feeling sorry for the muscular man who had lost all his money and now didn’t know how to explain to his wife at ho.

Wang Hao saw the muscular man leave, freeing up a spot, and he imdiately sat down.

"Eh? New face, is this your first ti here?"

Old Sun Er glanced at him; the young man was dressed simply and cleanly, obviously not a peasant.

"Yes, first ti. Just trying my luck."

Wang Hao grinned foolishly; if it weren’t for dealing with Ding Li, he probably would never have co to a place like this in his life.

"Well, let tell you the rules of our table. We start with twenty, no ceiling! You got that?"

This gambling thing really required so nerve, starting at twenty? In the village, twenty yuan could cover a whole family’s daily expenses.

"Co on, let’s continue! No changing after bets are placed!"

Old Sun Er kept shaking the cup.

Most of the people here bet based on luck and instinct. They felt that the last round was large, so this round would probably be small, and thus they bet on small.

With a slap, Old Sun Er placed the dice on the table, "Place your bets quick, I’m about to reveal."

Wang Hao put his hands together and secretly used Dragon Power. A purple dragon shadow soared into Wang Hao’s eyes, swimming back and forth, and gradually the dice cup beca transparent. Looking closely, four, six, six, it was still big.

Seeing that Wang Hao still hadn’t placed a bet, Old Sun Er’s face showed impatience, "Co on, kid, what’s the hold-up? Don’t delay everyone’s chance to make money."

With a wave of his hands, Wang Hao pulled out four hundred yuan and placed it on "big."

Observing Wang Hao’s generous bet, everyone was stunned. The young man’s first bet was so large; he was surely as fearless as a calf facing a tiger.

Old Sun Er lifted his hand and opened the dice cup, "Four, six, six, big!"

"Yes!" Wang Hao clenched his fists in excitent, realizing that Dragon Power really was effective.

The other gamblers looked at Wang Hao with envy. They couldn’t have imagined his first bet would hit the mark and earn him a tidy sum.

"Co on, continue!" Sun Er continued to shout, holding the dice cup.

Wang Hao thought about training his Dragon Power so more to see if it could perform consistently, and winning so money to boot, why not?

In just over an hour, a large pile of money had stacked up in front of Wang Hao, possibly amounting to tens of thousands.

Sun Er also found it unbelievable; he had no idea why Wang Hao was so lucky, winning back his losses with just one roll every ti he lost.

Soon, the commotion around Wang Hao attracted most of the attention at the scene, with everyone looking at him with envy, wishing they could have such luck just once.

Of course, so of Wang Hao’s loyal followers stuck with him and made a fair amount as well.

This ti, Wang Hao suggested that he should be allowed to shake the dice cup, and Sun Er agreed.

Wang Hao grabbed the cup with one hand, shook it a few tis in the air, and slapped it on the table, "Co on, place your bets!"

His movents were incredibly clumsy, almost dropping the dice, clearly his first ti shaking.

"I bet on small," Sun Er, relying on his years of experience, put down five hundred on small.

The others quickly followed Sun Er’s bet.

"Alright, then I bet on big. No more bets!"

Opening the cup, it was two, four, six, big again.

Sun Er’s face turned pale in an instant. Since Wang Hao joined the table, Sun Er had continuously lost several thousand, unable to accept that he was losing to a greenhorn.

Wang Hao jumped up happily. With that roll, he won a whole five thousand!

No wonder everyone gets addicted to gambling; this money was just too easy to co by.

Seeing that he was at a disadvantage against Wang Hao, Sun Er stood up and took the chance to go to the restroom to inform the gambling den’s boss, the once-commanding gambling god, Gao Ye.

After hearing the report, Gao Ye decided to et this young man himself.

"Haven’t played in a long ti. How about I join you for a round today?"

An old man in a Zhongshan suit, with a fierce look on his face, walked out from the back room, accompanied by several bodyguards, with Sun Er following closely behind.

"Ah, it’s Gao Ye, he’s the forr gambling god!"

"Exactly, exactly, it’s rare to see him make a move. There’s going to be quite the show today."

The crowd was taken aback by the presence of Gao Ye, making way for him.

"Young man, I hear you’ve won quite a bit today."

Gao Ye said to Wang Hao in a soft tone, his smile hiding ferocity.

"Haha, just luck."

Upon learning that he was the gambling den boss, Wang Hao was unfazed and curious to see how skilled he was.

"Would you care for a private ga with ?"

Heavens, Gao Ye hadn’t played in three years, and today he suddenly proposed a one-on-one ga with this kid. Who is this young man?

Everyone was shocked, including Sun Er.

"What? A one-on-one gamble?"

Wang Hao’s heart skipped a beat.

He wasn’t scared; he just didn’t want to lose the tens of thousands he had just won back to the house.

But thinking of the purple dragon tattoo that granted him x-ray vision, he steadied his heart.

"Of course, I’m willing. But you’ve got to take it easy on , Gao Ye!"

Wang Hao grinned ear to ear as he looked at Gao Ye.

"You young people like excitent. Let’s make it thrilling: we both throw the dice, guess each other’s results, a triple’s six tis the bet, best two out of three, and if it’s a draw, we add another round. How about it?"

Gao Ye earnestly explained the rules.

He too had observed Wang Hao’s performance through the surveillance; although Wang Hao was trying hard to hide his strength, his hesitation before placing bets was indeed suspicious.

This kid must be no ordinary fellow!
