As he was working, he decided to expand his knowledge of formations. After all, he doesn't have a body that can innately talk directly with the world through formations.
He has to actually learn the language to use to communicate with the world. In order to expand his reservoir of vocabulary, he has to learn new runes and new formation arrays.
It is easy to acquire a lot of formation diagrams in the sect thanks to the fact that the sect as a whole likes formations and the fact that a Patriarch of the sect is a formation enthusiast who likes to create new formations and purchase strange and exotic ones.
All he has to do is go to the library to get the information he wants. Not many sects have such a privilege.
It will just cost him money to buy the formation diagrams. But he didn't mind the cost because the formation diagrams will also improve the power of the formation breaker.
He plans to make the formation breaker capable of learning formations by adding an artificial intelligence to it. This artificial intelligence will improve the power of the formation breaker by learning more and more formations.
Fortunately, he doesn't need to build the artificial intelligence from scratch. He can buy one from the sect.
Even if the AI he can buy is sothing as rudintary as the ones in the golems of the performance tests in the outer sect, it will save him a lot of work. He won't need to start from scratch and can just improve it.
The artificial intelligence in the golems enables them to learn his moves and plan to deal with them before he uses them. He wants sothing like that, but better for his formation breaker.
So his final product will be a formation treasure that has a lot of computation power and is capable of learning. These three components are things he can get in the sect, but the final product of combining all of them will be sothing different and maybe unique.
It will be a lot of work, but it is sothing he is actually excited to do. He didn't mind burying his head in books and scribbling endless formations for days.
The best part was that while he was doing all of these, his core refining mana and growing stronger at a speed that was twice as fast as what he could achieve if he were solely focused on cultivation.
He was also learning the two vessel sigil techniques at the sa ti. The one he was learning first was the Lightning Vessel Sigil technique because of its potential for an ultimate offensive ans.
So he was growing stronger as he worked. This was all thanks to the Mountain Foundation divine ability and the Fate Binding divine ability. As the fate of the people he had helped rose higher, so did his fate.
This is what he was doing till the day the council eting was to take place. So he had to pause his work to attend the eting.
He didn't like that he had to stop at all. It made him look forward to when he would gain avatars and have them work for him.
Things are not bad completely because even though he stopped working on his research, the virtual copies in his mind were still busy analyzing the runes that he just learned.
So he wasn't losing much. Only his active research was put on hold.
He grabbed his hamr and rushed out of his house. Along the way, he said to Roar, "I'm going to the council hall for a council eting. I'll be back soon."
Roar pried open one of his eyes with imnse difficulty in order to acknowledge what Arthur had said. Then the eye closed swiftly, and he returned to dozing off. By then Arthur was long gone.
He didn't let Roar ride him there because the dog is too slow for him now. There is also the fact that he has beco too heavy for Roar because of the hamr he is carrying.
He would have to use his magnetic field to lighten the load of the hamr on Roar for the dog to be able to carry him. But if he is going to do that, it is better for him to carry himself too and go alone at a faster speed.
So he decided to go alone to the eting. His departure was sothing that was felt in the entire tower.
All of his neighbors felt as if sothing heavy that had been weighing on their hearts was suddenly lifted when Arthur left the tower. This made them sigh in relief.
So of them complained and grumbled about how a golden core elder shouldn't be living so close to cultivators of the third mortal coil.
They have a point, though. They have the right to complain because the gap between Arthur and the best of them has widened even though he is just a new golden core cultivator.
This is not usually the case for loose cultivators and cultivators of other sects who just advanced to the fourth mortal coil. This is because these types of cultivators don't have to master their host techniques completely before they beco golden core cultivators.
The foundation establishnt cultivators of the Blood Skull have to master the host technique at the third mortal coil and fuse all of their life seeds at once because of the presence of the armant in their foundation.
The armant grants cultivators of the blood skull sect power, but it also makes their golden core rigid and immune to change. This immunity to change ans that once their core is ford, it cannot be changed on a fundantal level.
The cultivators of other sects have more freedom in this aspect. They can bypass the need to master their host techniques, find a shortcut to fuse all of their life seeds, form their golden core, and then slowly master their host techniques when they are at the fourth mortal coil and have more ti to do so.
