The most glaring change was his life span. The increase popped up at him as soon as he laid his eyes on his status. and it caused his eyes to pop out in delight.
He had received an extra life span of 500 years. This is twice as much as other cultivators usually receive.
This much extra life span doubled the previous amount of life span that he had and raised it from 400 years to 900 years.
He shook his head and said in wonder, "To think that it is possible for a person to live this long. And this is even though I lost a lot of life span at the second mortal coil when I first mastered lightning and despite the fact that this is only the fourth mortal coil."
"There are still the fifth, sixth, seventh, and maybe even eighth and ninth mortal coils to experience. I wonder how long those people get to live. Will they just have immortal life at so point?"
He couldn’t help but wonder what the end result of transcendence will be. He has gone through three processes of transcendence and has shed three mortal coils and many weaknesses along the way.
One of the weaknesses that he just shed is the limit on the level of transformation he can undergo. He still can’t grow infinitely, but he suspects that one day, after a lot of shedding of one’s mortal coil, mortals will shed the weakness that is the limit of life span or even shed the weakness that is death.
Just thinking about it made his eyes light up in anticipation and wonder. He wants to experience such a level of existence even if he only has to feel it for a few seconds.
But then he shook his head and laughed deprecatingly while saying, "Look at being human and greedy. Nothing will ever be enough for ."
"I just got a life span that is nearly a millennium, and I am already fantasizing about immortality. If I were on earth, many people would have killed billions of people to get this kind of life span. Heck, I died trying to extend my life."

He laughed for a while. What he said amused him so much that he thought he was going off the rails. He laughed so hard that he teared up.

In fact, his hard work more than paid off because what he was aiming for back then was a life span of 500 years for a golden core elder. But he has gotten almost twice as much as that, so he has nothing to complain about in that aspect.
