It is not that ordinary power enhancents like Arthur's have no hope or can't surprise. They can, but only in special situations when the bloodline mutates or becos capable of growth.
But mutation and growth are difficult to achieve. And even if they happen, it will be extraordinary if they can increase to Arthur's state.
From what Elder Calcetti could sense, Arthur was gaining a 40 to his power. That's a four tis increase from what Arthur was getting from his bloodline when he was the first mortal.
This realization made Elder Calcetti ask the leader, "Will this be the maximum enhancent from his bloodline, or is his bloodline capable of more growth?"
This question made the leader stop joking around. He stopped chuckling and replied solemnly, "It is possible for it to grow. It is unlikely to happen, and even if it does happen, it will be difficult, but I won't count it out from happening because when I saw him 20 years ago, the boost from his bloodline was just 30."
The leader said with a tone of finality, "It happened before, so it can happen again."
Then he said with so uncertainty in his tone, "As for why this is happening, it could be anything. It could be due to the interference of the power of lightning that he is cultivating, or the mutation was caused by the wood elent within him."
"The mutation could also be due to the blood essence that he used to transcend the first mortal coil. Knowing the Blood Skull sect, I won't be surprised if they gave him a rank 5 blood essence to transcend the first mortal coil."
Another elder from the Dyson family that was listening said in shock, "Rank 5 blood essence just to transcend the first mortal coil? Surely that's overkill."
The third elder that ca with the Dyson family was also shocked. After thinking about it, he shook his head and said, "Even if the Blood Skull sect is rich enough to give him a rank 5 blood essence to transcend the first mortal coil, can he even assimilate it without exploding to death?"
The fourth and last elder nodded and said in agreent, "That's true. The difference between rank 1 and rank 5 is too wide. I don't think that he uses a rank 5 blood essence to transcend the first mortal coil."
What they said was reasonable, but the leader of the family insisted that they were wrong. He said, "You're using the minds of us normal people to judge the worth and capabilities of extraordinary people like Arthur and the Blood Skull sect. If I said that I wouldn't be surprised that he used a rank 5 essence to transcend the first mortal coil, then I must have my reasons."
No one could argue with that. Not without saying to the leader's face that he was wrong to say that.
Rather than disrespect the leader, they were more eager to know why the leader wouldn't be surprised about such an absurd thing. But the leader didn't intend to tell them.
Instead of telling them what they wanted to know, the leader asked them, "If he used a rank 5 blood essence to transcend the first mortal coil, do you think his bloodline will mutate?"
The other four junior elders nodded in reply. One of them said, "If he can assimilate the rank 5 blood essence and use it to create his life seed, then mutation is the least thing that will shock ."
Another elder hesitated slightly before saying, "But even if the mutation occurred, shouldn't it be a one-ti change in the bloodline? Could it be that the mutation also made the boost from the bloodline capable of growth?" Thistextwasacquiredfrom.
The leader was still solemn and serious. He answered the question by saying, "That's why I said that it is possible for the enhancent from his bloodline to increase again."
Elder Calcetti sighed and said, "I guess the day he will fulfill his promise to touch all over is closer than ever before."
The elders looked at him strangely. They couldn't understand what he ant. Only the leader understood what Elder Calcetti was talking about. This made the leader beco amused and chuckle again.
They stopped talking about Arthur and shifted to other topics, but this was not the case everywhere. So people were still talking about him.
Their interest in him was further fueled by the fact even the disciples from his sect didn't want to stick around him anymore. He was the proverbial black duck among swans. He stood out like a sore thumb.
Another person of note was Jade. Many people wanted to know what had transpired between her and him that led to that outburst.
The Jade in question had gone to et the people from her family. She said sothing to them. Then she returned to her place among the disciples of the Blood Skull sect.
Whatever she told the people from her family, it apparently wasn't enough to make them react in a way that was out of the ordinary. They remained calm and collected.
No matter how people stared at them for a reaction, they didn't do anything. Jade had also cald down now. There was nothing on her face or deanor that indicated that she had a confrontation with Arthur earlier.
Everyone could only stand around until it was ti to enter the secret realm. Then they were split into groups and led to separate entrances.
The entrance that the people of the Blood Skull sect used this ti around was the hollow space in the trunk of a giant tree. As people entered this large hole, it lolled as if they were walking into the tree.
Arthur wasn't surprised by this situation, as he has had much experience with the various unconventional ways to enter a secret realm. He had once used a pit as an entrance. That one was even more unconventional than walking into a tree trunk.
