He agreed with her mostly because there was nothing much for him to gain there anyway and because she promised to get him what he needed to train until he reached the seventh transformation.

It is like when he was easily defeated by a fourth transformation boy when he was at the sixth transformation. He just isn't skilled enough to make complete use of his strength.

It is not that he doesn't have any advantages because of his stronger body. For one, his body has greater fortitude and vitality. It ans he gets injured less and can heal faster.

He complained lightly to her, "Don't praise so much, mother."
She continued to smile as she asked, "Why not? Don't you like it?"
He caved in and said, "I like it a little bit."
She clapped again. "That's my boy."
"Since you like training so much, I have decided that you should start training with a weapon."
