She smiled bitterly and said, "I envy you. Unfortunately, I am not destined to use it. The last person who got the rank 6 blood essence got it more than five hundred years ago. There was soone later than that who should have used it but gave up on it."
After saying that, she handed the tube to him. She used her solidified divine sense to carry it and place it on his hand.
As he bent his head to examine the tube, he heard her say, "If you're ready, this blood essence won't harm you. But if you're not ready, the blood essence will kill you. I hope that you're truly ready."
He nodded in understanding. Then he removed the stopper of the tube. When he did so, a bright green light gushed out of the tube.
An aura of intense vitality saturated the environnt imdiately. This aura was so strong that the spores and seeds in the air began to grow.
The seedlings grew rapidly, as if soone had sped up ti for them. In less than a second, the whole room was full of plants of various kinds.
He tilted his head back and swallowed the blood quickly. As soon as the blood touched his tongue, it was absorbed. It diffused through his tongue and spread throughout his body.
His tongue was the first to beco green. But in less than five seconds, his whole body beca green.
His red hair also beca green. It also began to grow rapidly.
Arthur himself beca unconscious. But his hair continued to grow. It grew and filled up the whole room. Then it spilled from the windows and spread outside.
Elder Storm Hawk continued to sit where she was. She used her solidified divine sense to push his green hair away from her while continuing to monitor him.
Arthur had a long dream. In that dream, he saw a large green tree. It was so tall that he looked like an ant next to it.
But oddly enough, the tree also felt like an ant next to the golden tree that it was looking at in the distance. He was watching the green tree with envy and awe while the green tree was watching the golden Ethera tree in envy and awe.
He heard soone ask the green tree, "What kind of tree do you want to be?"
This voice was silent and llow. But Arthur recognized the voice to be the sa one that tortured him for the hundred days he spent comprehending the Everlasting Wood Intent.
The green tree replied with a loud voice that sounded like an earthquake, "I want to be everlasting."
Then the colossal green tree shattered. It exploded into green motes of light. These green notes of light were carried by the wind to form a large airborne green ocean.
As Arthur watched srized, the green ocean was brought to him by the wind. Then the green ocean crashed into him.
The green ocean was funneled into his body. Sothing that large shouldn't enter sothing so small. So it was very painful.
He scread in pain. His scream was quiet when it started. But it beca louder as the green ocean rged with him.
Soon his roar of pain shook the world. His voice beca the voice of the colossal green tree. It was the sound of earthquakes and the earth rumbling.
He wanted to lose consciousness. He wanted to die. Unfortunately, he couldn't.
He had no control whatsoever. He could only scream in pain as the green ocean shrank into him.
He didn't know how long he suffered for because he couldn't tell ti. The only thing he knew was pain. It felt as if his body and mind were burning.
Salvation ca only when the green ocean finished rging with him. By then his scream of pain was enough to make the whole world shake, not just the ground.
With one final hoarse scream, the world shattered into pieces, and he fell into darkness. He beca unconscious again. But this ti, he didn't feel anything or experience anything.
There was no dream. There was just nothing.
Ti passed slowly. He was unaware of it. He was unaware of everything.
But then one day, a light appeared in the darkness. The light was green.
The light was also small. But it beca brighter after a while.
When the light beca bright enough, Arthur beca aware of it. He saw that the green light was a green seed. He also knew that the green seed was himself.
The seed was thinking. It was thinking the sa thing over and over again.
The seed was him, so the seed's thoughts were his thoughts. So he was thinking the sa thing over and over again.
He was saying to himself, "I want to be everlasting. I want to be everlasting. I want to be everlasting."
He said that for a long ti. Then after a while, the green light exploded and drove the darkness away.
In the real world, he woke up, and his eyes opened. All the plants in the room died. His long hair withered and fell off his head.
His hair returned to its normal length and shape. All that was left of its previous length was a brown and dried mass of threads.
The first thing he did was to groan. He felt weak all over. It was as if his body had been beaten until it was broken, so he groaned.
But as he stretched, he discovered that his body felt very good. He felt waves of refreshnt and power.
It was the power that drew his attention the most. He felt so powerful that he thought that he could kill anything.
He looked at Elder Storm Hawk, hoping to give it a try, but when he saw her eyes flash with blue lightning and when his activated mind brushed against her existence only to be shocked by stray lightning, he shuddered and put away his rebellious thoughts imdiately.
