Capítulo 880: Chapter 600: Are You Even More Powerful Than Our Ancestral Master?

Under An Ge’s invitation, Huwa walked into the small courtyard with blue tiles and white walls, his little face flushed with anticipation.

His face looked like a red apple, with a head full of tigerish vigor.

An Ge gently patted the little fellow’s head, leading him into the courtyard.

After entering the courtyard, Huwa’s round eyes wanted to look around but dared not glance too much. However, the gentle voice of the beautiful sister beside him soon made him feel less nervous. After all, he was a child at heart, quickly becoming curious about his surroundings, glancing left and right.

Gradually, the scene overlapped with his mories!

Nothing had changed much.

“Pretty sister, are you new here?”

“How do you know my na?” Huwa asked, looking up at An Ge beside him.

Already a mother, An Ge was amused by being called sister by this little child, her brows and eyes crinkled into a thin line with a smile,

“Soone told !”

She led Huwa through the winding paths of the courtyard, towards the inner house, from which the tender sound of children’s voices was erging.

Soon after, a tall figure erged from the inner house carrying a chubby baby.

Chen Yuan held An’an, playfully entertaining his daughter who grasped his hand, while turning to look at An Ge and the approaching Huwa, his eyebrows raised slightly.

“Good lad, you’ve grown quite a bit!”

This voice carried warmth and peace.

Upon seeing Chen Yuan, Huwa’s eyes widened, his little mouth gaped, and his body instinctively moved to hide behind An Ge. But suddenly recalling sothing, he released the pretty sister’s hand and, with a thud, knelt down, his small body bowing, arms extended forward, looking quite formal.

“Little Tiger, Little Tiger pays respects…!”

In his haste, he couldn’t even get the words out.

It seed sowhat comical.

An Ge, noticing how loudly the little boy’s knees had hit, helped him up with one hand, bending down to dust off Huwa’s knees,

“You little guy rushing to give such a big salute, does it hurt?”

Saying this, she shot a side glance at Chen Yuan, who was smiling with the corners of his mouth slightly lifted, scolding him with her eyes,

“You didn’t even stop him, you’ve scared the child!”

Chen Yuan was a bit embarrassed, “I didn’t expect the little fellow to act so quickly, just like kids rushing for red envelopes during festivals, bowing quickly and forcibly.”

As he spoke, he couldn’t help but laugh, looking at the anxious and timid Huwa,

“Are you afraid of ?”

Huwa quickly shook his head, quietly saying, “Mom said, when you et you, you need to bow three tis and kowtow nine tis.”

“She says you’re a good man, an important person.”

Actually, at Huwa’s age, he was still quite naive, with nothing much on his mind. He wasn’t aware of worldly reverence, nor did he understand what his mother’s neighbor ‘da ren’ really ant or how formidable. He just rembered to be grateful, respectful, and polite from what his mom often inculcated in him.

Over ti, it had planted a seed in his little heart.

Chen Yuan smiled at Huwa’s innocent words,

“Heh, it’s been a while, you seem to have learned so manners, you little fellow, back then you sure used to anger your mom quite a bit.”

A few years ago, when he was the Mountain Patrol Military Officer, this mother and son from the neighboring yard were always causing a commotion, incredibly mischievous, the mories still vivid and amusing.

“Go and call your mom over!”

“By the way, call uncle from now on!”

As he spoke these few words, as if an ordinary household, Huwa’s nerves gradually eased.

Huwa nodded, then turned and quickly dashed out of the small courtyard.

Running and shouting, “Mom!”

“Mom!”

And just like that, Huwa ran out of the courtyard, running enthusiastically to his ho next door.

At that mont, his mother, which is Cai Hua, was tidying up inside, as the house hadn’t been lived in for a while, it required so ti to clean up.

Hearing Huwa’s call, holding a palm-fiber brush in her hand, with a cloth wrapped over her head, she quickly ca out.

Seeing her son’s eager expression, she looked curious,

“What is it?”

“Why are you calling out?”

Huwa ran over, shouting,

“Uncle, is back!”

“Uncle, is back!”

Cai Hua looked more puzzled, full of confusion, “What uncle? Speak properly!”

Huwa reached her, pointing towards next door,

“The gentleman next door told to call you over!”

Upon hearing this, Cai Hua froze, her eyes widened, the palm-fiber brush falling to the floor, but she quickly regained her composure, her whole body becoming nervous.

She promptly wiped her hands on her apron, then quickly stepped outside, but halted after two steps, promptly removing her dusty apron and headscarf, and tidied her hair and clothing.

Once done, she hurriedly held her son’s hand, heading outside, adjusting her breathing and trying to ease her nerves as they walked until they reached the entrance of Chen Yuan’s courtyard, where she stood and adjusted whether her attire was clean.

“Mom, you’re so nervous!”

Huwa didn’t really understand.

The neighbor ‘da ren’ seed quite gentle, like before, why was mom making this more complicated than it needed to be?

Cai Hua said nothing, adjusted her son Huwa’s clothes, took a deep breath, and walked inside.

Today, she seed a lot more nervous than usual.

As Cai Hua entered the small courtyard holding her son’s hand, seeing Chen Yuan standing in front of the house gave her a mont of daze, then everything was unchanged yet everything felt different.

Beside him stood a woman as beautiful as a fairy, with a baby in her arms.

This scene strangely moved this woman to the verge of tears.

She quickened her pace, arriving in front of Chen Yuan, wanting to lead Huwa to kneel down from a distance,
