Isaiah 1:17 "Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause."

Raul POV.

Ymir and Felix seem to have beco pretty good friends.

After they ditched , I got a ssage from Director Stella.

A dungeon was causing trouble.

No one who entered had ever co back out.

No one knew what was inside.

It was in the territory of the Mahakar Empire.

I’m not doing this for free; I’ll get contribution points from the academy for it.

I’m standing in front of a crimson portal.

You need to be at least 8th tier to even enter this dungeon.

There’s no one around.

The Adventurer’s Guild had been warned.

Plus, getting here required crossing a mountainous region.

I sighed slowly and stepped into the dungeon.

But what greeted wasn’t another landscape.

I was instantly teleported into a burning mansion.

A voice echoed in my mind.

[Find the hidden doll.]

’Gabriel, now I understand why no one ever ca back.’

’Hmm. Once you enter a dungeon, you can’t leave until the objective is complete,’ said the angel inside .

Gabriel appeared beside , staring at the burning flas. "People were dying because of this fire. They were being roasted alive. Even a 6th-tier wrapping itself in mana could only last thirty minutes at most."

When I looked around, I saw several plush dolls floating in the air.

I slowly approached one. "Uncle, wanna play?"

The plush doll spoke to , looking straight into my eyes. "Hmm, where are the other kids?"

"Uncle, let’s play!!" the plush doll shouted. I gently lifted it by the shoulders and looked at it. "Hm, what should we play, little one?"

"Tag, tag!!" the plush doll yelled excitedly, and the other plush dolls gathered around and Gabriel .

"UNCLE, UNCLE, YOU’LL REALLY PLAY WITH US?!" I nodded.

Male and female plush dolls were dancing around us.

"HOORAY!!" I was looking at Gabriel.

’Gabriel, sothing’s wrong here,’ I said.

But Gabriel was staring at the plush toys, trembling.

"Auntie, tell a story," said a blue-haired plush.

Gabriel stroked its head. "Let’s have fun," she said.

Slowly, all the children split into groups.

So played with , the rest listened to Gabriel’s stories.

The first plush doll that asked to play was running away, and I pretended I couldn’t catch it. "Ahhh, you’re so fast, little one!"

"Hehe, uncle can’t catch !" it ran.

Finally, I gently touched its head.

"Uncle caught you."

"Thank you, uncle," it said, and the plush lted away like wax.

I slowly caught the other children, too.

"Thank you for playing, uncle."

"It was so much fun."

"I wish Lily had joined, too."

"Don’t forget us, uncle."

As I caught all the children, they said things with smiles on their faces before disappearing.

When the ga of tag was over, I walked toward the chair where Gabriel was reading stories to the other kids.

The children were sitting on the floor, and I sat among them.

"Then Little Red Riding Hood asked, ’Grandma, why are your ears so big...’" Gabriel was telling the story of Little Red Riding Hood.

The plush dolls let out "wow"s and "bad wolf!" cries.

"Then the wolf said, ’TO EAT YOU BETTER!’ and was about to eat Little Red Riding Hood up!" Gabriel added a dramatic tone to her voice.

"AAAAH, SO SCARY!"

"BAD WOLF!!"

"WHERE’S THE HUNTER?!"

"THEN BAM! THE HUNTER ARRIVED!!!! He saved Little Red Riding Hood, and she married the hunter!" she said and closed the book.

Without realizing it, the children were holding my arms.

"Hmm, the bad wolf deserved it."

"That was such a great story, Auntie."

"Did Uncle save you like that, too, Auntie?"

Then Gabriel stood up and sat on the floor in front of the children. "Yes, uncle ca and saved ," she said, raising her hands as if scared.

Then she punched the air. "He punched the wolf like this!"

"Bam bam!"

"Uncle is so cool!"

But then the dolls began to lt.

Gabriel’s pupils widened. "Don’t go, wait, I have more stories!"

"Auntie, we have to go, or our father in the sky will be angry!!"

"Yes, yes."

They slowly lted away.

All the plush dolls lted in front of Gabriel.

The last one left was the blue-haired plush. "Uncle, auntie, save Lily and play with her too."

"Where is Lily, sweetie?"

"The evil wizard! The evil wizard locked her up!"

"Don’t worry, child. Uncle will save her for you," Gabriel said and looked at .

I smiled. "Yes, kid, don’t worry. Go rest, aren’t you tired?"

"Uncle, auntie, see you later!!" it said and vanished.

Then mories flooded into both Gabriel’s and Raul’s minds.

They saw mories that don’t belong to them.
