As soon as the owl landed upon the cloudy abode where they sat watching the challenge, the mare’s expression llowed out sowhat, recognising the familiar presence from the owl, but nonetheless let out a snort before saying,

{You finally decided to show up, sister. I thought you had planned to wait out the whole little ga.}

I ant no such thing dear sister. I was just caught in a little detour.

{Must this detour absolutely have to ddle in my affairs?}

Such is fate dear. This a strange turn of events, I have no control over it.

{Didn’t these ’events’ brought you here anyway I suppose? I reckon you had planned to be on your scheming way had this not occured.}

You jest dear sister. The events too sure. But it has been such a while since we last t. I’ve been wanting to et you.

The giant owl placated her sister in adoringly in a soothing voice.

{Humph, Yeah I believe you.}

The mare, now much more calm after eting the owl, averted her head as she said with a little angered tone, feigning annoyance.

Now don’t be like that. We have much to catch up on. Co with , there’s sothing I have been aning to show you.

The giant owl said softly while extending her wings a little towards her half-sister.

{No! You are trying to distract . I must first tell

Lord father about this incident. This is injustice.}

The mare said, acting spoiled to much surprise of the silver stag as she contrasted this disguised affection to her usual countenance.

The owl too indulged her to this end without minding their status.

You must not darling.

{But... but he just.. he-}

Now listen here. He did not see anything beyond what you had intended. As he has just awakened and still has no control over his abilities. Not to ntion his primary focus was on her.

The giant owl said while looking subtly towards the silver stag standing beside the mare.

The stag at first was startled at her sudden ntion between the two daughters of heaven, but composing herself in ti greeted the owl.

[Greetings wise one. I have been honoured.]

At ease maiden. It is good to see you well too.

{Wha-? You imply he wasn’t looking at ? Did he dare get distracted in my presence!?}

The mare jumped a little horrified at such incredulous remark, gasping as she said thus quite offended.

[He-he mustn’t be aware of your grace m’lady. He’d co around for sure to understand your pretige.]

The stag consoled the mare hurriedly as she looked at her building irritation.

Indeed, for he can’t look upon you directly. You mustn’t contract yourself as such. Either you show yourself or you don’t.

The owl nodded along with the stag’s sentints.

{What eyes of revelation, blight upon such a soul so blind as he. Hmph. I must tell Lord father.}

The stag felt jittery hearing the low mumblings of the mare, but before she could say anything the soft voice of the owl ca,

You will do no such thing my dear.

{But sis...}

Just co with . Look at it yourself what I’ve prepared before making your mind.

{I know you’re up to another botherso trickery.}

The mare lanted still averting her eyes but finally placated to hear her out.

You know well.

The owl sounded amused as she started flapping her giant wings to take flight, adding so last words towards the silver stag.

I have to make haste and thus cannot greet you properly. Do forgive maiden. However fret not, for we will get plenty chances coming up.

[We will?]

She said softly to herself before catching herself losing in her thoughts as replied properly,

[Not at all your holiness. It is an honour to just be in your presence.]

Very well then. Until next ti, and in the an ti I’ll entrust him to you.

The owl said softly as she glanced one last ti at the unconscious boy in the forest.

[Yes my lady!]

The silver stag said with much enthusiasm.

{Hey hey hey you changed your allegiance quickly.}

The mare said with a furtive side eye towards the stag to which the stag could only play dumb.

Pitch black drakness ebbed and flowed along the formless void, rolling about in the nothingness till wherever it ended, if at all.

Despite being the very essence of nothingness the void took on a strange liquidy form as it expanded its wings and tides like an ever expensive ocean.

As another such tide ascended and turned, moving void with it, finally so other color besides ebony ca to be in the strange void plane.

Despite no source of light, a figure of a lone human shimring in a bluish sliver light could be seen taking deep breaths as the liquid void freed it from it’s abyssal grip.

The figure of a human in early teens with pure white hair and shabby clothes ca to view.

After so monts of deep, nigh desperate breathing Noctis got so of his bearing back.

He closed his eyes, not like he had anything to see at all in this space with his eyes open, apart from his own hands anyway, in order to get so rest.

Last thing he rembered before being stuck in this accursed place was glancing upon the beautiful mare and the stag on the dark clouds and the accursed frosting sea place before it.

Since then all he had seen was the sheer dark void and the creations in spawned from ti to ti in order to haunt him.

Despite spending who knows how many days or even weeks perhaps, as all sense of ti has been lost to him after all these events, he had figured or found no way of getting out of this space.

Just as he was chewing on these thoughts, his instinct flared a warning as he suddenly rolled towards his left.

The space where he just laid was then struck with an invisible force as a sound akin to tal striking another tallic surface.

As Noctis stood up with haste, he felt another warning as he ducked before jumping to another place.

’And here we go again.’
