Yvlena flinched, shocked by the words that left the usually cheerful girl’s mouth. How could Risel bla herself? If anything it would be a stretch to bla anyone for this.
Even Rael.
“What am I going to tell his son?” Risel said softly, she held her face in her palms, letting her head drop with the full weight of grief.
“It’s not your fault, you couldn’t have known.” Yvlena rebutted, she put her arm around the blonde elf who leaned into her. “I understand though, if it’s your fault then you could have so form of control over this tragedy but it doesn’t work like that.”
“I know, I know, it’s been so long, I spent such a long ti searching for a way here, but there was nothing I could do.”
“And I’m sure Freude knew that too, he was probably worried about you.” Yvlena said. Risel wiped her tears and looked up at Yvlena.
“Thank you for being here, we have to find a way to help this town, I’m sure it’s what Freude would have wanted.” Risel said, though her eyes were still blurry with tears Yvlena found in them a resolute determination to help.
“Lets rest, we’ve been on our feet for a while and we both have things to think about.” Yvlena said smiling.
She stood up and went to her own bed, laying down and closing her eyes to log out.

Aya sat up to remove the Revista, she got up and looked outside to see the sky was now a dark blue and the sun had vanished, night had co as she guessed it would. Mars would soon co to tell her it was ti to make dinner.
“I’ll ask if we can have pizza again.” Aya said nodding to herself, as she was about to leave her room to announce her dinner request, her phone rang.
“Huh?” She picked it up, not recognizing the number and put it to her ear “Hello.”
“Who is this? You called a while ago.” The voice said, Aya didn’t need to think before she recognized the voice, the sa voice that had wished her luck on the PacBook. She couldn’t believe her luck.
“Um...hello?” Daichi’s voice asked with more urgency.
“Daichi!” Aya said making him pause.
“Aya? Oh my God how long has it been, how’s Axen.”
“I wouldn’t know I moved to ricross.” She said in excitent, she heard a crash over the phone and assud it was Daichi knocking sothing over, her assumption was correct when she heard him mutter about a broken lamp.
“When?! Oh Aya, I knew you could do it. You’re not still using my old Icarus gear are you?” He sounded concerned that
“No, I got a Revista Mark 2 but I’m still using that old PacBook your grandmother was about to throw out.” Aya said, finally heading out of her room to find Mars in the middle of arranging the pots and pans for dinner.
Aya mouthed Daichi at her, Mars’s eyes widened before replying with a thumbs up and heading back to what she was doing, dinner tonight would be sothing simple, the day had worn her out as well.
“Ah the humble Revista, carried through my first big payout before I got a Zephyr, I hope you’re about to upgrade the laptop, a big update’s coming you know.”
“So I’ve heard, I haven’t explored ricross enough to know if there are any places I could get it upgraded.” Aya said deflating a bit at the news, it seed everywhere she looked there was a reminder for her to spend money.
She knew she had the money now but when she thought of spending it a cold fear gripped her heart that she would be left destitute.
“Where in ricross are you? Maybe I could help you out. Man, Aya, you have no idea how good it is to hear your voice.” Daichi said. She could hear the relief as he spoke, had he not made any friends in ricross yet? He had been here a while.
“Citronella Streets, do you know it.”
“Hell yeah! That’s not too far from where I am. I’m on Bergamot street.” Daichi replied happily. Aya didn’t know where Bergamot street was but it sounded as fancy as Citronella street. In Axen, they didn’t have a street na either, just a final bus stop.
“Let’s et up!” Daichi suggested. “I take it you might not know Axen too well so I’ll et you outside your apartnt, uh...which one is your apartnt.”
“Blue Turtle apartnts.” Aya replied.
“Nice! It was good talking to you Aya but I’ve gotta go now. Need to help Nana with so things.” Daichi said.
“No problem, stop by soon okay.” Aya said.
“I will.”
The phone call ended and Aya turned to Mars to ask for a pizza when she saw the girl already putting the frozen pizza into the oven.
“Frozen Pizza?”
Mars shrugged.
“I’m tired today.” She said resting her hand on her waist, if her mother was here she would have likely scolded Mars about make such a lazy dinner, but Aya would never do such a thing. “Besides you love pizza, frozen or not.”
“I was just about to ask if we could get so, it’s just like you read my mind.” Aya said hurrying around the counter to hug Mars. “I can’t believe I got lucky with Daichi’s phone number, he actually called back.”
“I saw.” Mars said, she didn’t force herself out of a hug the way she would have done with Brielle or Mina, the other girls of EC, a hug from Aya felt warm and friendly.
Aya pulled away to keep talking.
“He lives so close to us, her said Bergamot Street.” Aya said sitting at the dining area to wait for the pizza to cook.
“I passed it when I went out today, it’s really not that far. I’d say a fifteen minute walk at least.” Mars said. She knew he was a friend of Aya’s but could he be trusted. Mars didn’t like allowing people into her circle but Aya drew them in like bees to a flower.
The girl was just too sweet.
“I’m glad though, he’ll probably be able to get you out of the house since I wasn’t able to.” Mars smirked.
“Mars!”
“Yes, Aya.” the taller girl replied playfully. Aya pouted and sunk into her chair, causing Mars to laugh even more.
The oven dinged, signifying their frozen pizza had been heated up nicely, allowing for a nice and easy dinner for the two girls.
