"So Twyla went looking for the Harvest Guardian... This sounds like a long questline, Aya." Mars said, picking at her salad.

The two girls talked over the complintary dinner they accepted from the perky stewardess.

"Pretty much." Aya said in between bites of her dinner sandwich.

"Boy is she gonna be pissed when she finds out so elven girl inherited the title and not here." Mars said with a snicker.

"Ugh, don't remind . I really don't want to deal with an angry NPC, especially since her mom is so good to ." Aya replied.

Mars laughed.

“I’ve had my share of angry NPCs from failed quests, I’ll tell you about it so ti, maybe when we get to the new place.”

“I can’t wait.” Aya said, smiling. “It’s hard to imagine you failing a quest though.” Aya said, intrigued by the possibility that soone as experienced as Mars could fail a quest.

“Sotis the reward just isn’t worth it anymore.” Mars said, leaning back against the seat. “And the items they ask are much more valuable on the auction house.”

Yvlena awoke under her tree within the grounds of the Rose Manor, she yawned and stretched her hands over her head before she was hit with the sensation of a heavy weight pressing upon her back.

“That's right, I’m exhausted from that fight with Kazat.” She said, lifting herself up with great effort. “I need to eat sothing before...Wait, I don’t know what happens when I get too exhausted.”

She trudged through the Manor grounds and stepped inside towards the kitchen to cook herself a al.

“I’m kinda tired of Rabbit at, I guess I’ll try the Swampadile at I got from that battle in the Avaresh Swamp.” Yvlena said, stroking her chin.

The weight of her exhaustion didn’t give her any ti to ponder it further as she imdiately reached for a pot and placed it on the stove, feeding the fire so charcoal and tossing in a Common Spice Herb and the Swampadile at.

“What? I thought it would give Swampadile at Soup!”

Yvlena stared at the greenish cut of at now resting in a plate in her hands, she winced knowing her upgraded Revista would co with enhanced tasting capabilities.

She was not ready to consu what she had just cooked up.

Yvlena sniffed the at, taking in the mild aroma of herbal spice, maybe she needed to add so other vegetables to make it a soup or next ti just roast it.

“Bon appétit.” She muttered, taking a bite, where she was expecting a rubbery texture, the at was soft, albeit borderline undercooked. It wasn’t hard for Yvlena to finish up her at. In her mind, it went down easier than the first Roast Rabbit she had made.

“I guess it’s because my cooking’s improved a little bit since then.” She said. As soon as she had chewed the last bit, she felt the weight co off her back.

[Yvlena is no longer exhausted]

The ga inford her, she breathed a sigh of relief, exhaustion wasn’t a status she wanted to be affected by when she began brewing her potions for the journey to the Verdant Woods.

“Speaking of which, the back of the Manor needs so work. I’ll probably begin clearing it to get more seeds.”

With a plan forming in her mind, Yvlena set out to tend to the chores she had neglected whilst fulfilling quests for her beloved NPCs, starting with the garden.

Weeds had begun growing over her plants, the dark green vines sprouted from the edges of the garden patch she had dug up to plant her seeds.

Using her hands, Yvlena made quick work of them, pulling from the root until the weedy vines withered away into nothing, netting her so fiber for her trouble.

“I’ll weave so Linen with this, and who knows if my crafting will be enough for to weave good enough spider silk.” She said to herself.

She tended to the plants, harvesting until her hands were full of herbs she would use for her potion ingredients.

Yvlena sat back, wiping imaginary sweat from her brow as she got out her hoe to continue tilling until garden patches were once again neat. She created more, digging until she had covered half the manor grounds with new patches to plant her seeds.

For now, she planted the Vaelindor’s Cup seeds, hard won from her battle against Crocante, the forr guardian of the Avaresh Swamp, a few more Ever Bloom Seeds, and the wild seeds in her inventory.

Her Garden Mystic perk made her seeds shimr with unknown energy, making them break out into tiny sprouts before her very eyes. She gasped in awe, wondering how long it would take before she would need to harvest them again.

“Well, that’s enough gardening, ti to get to the at of the matter, Potions!”

Yvlena stood from the soft dirt she had been kneeling on and dusted her knees off in preparation to get her bronze cauldron from her inventory.

It landed on the grass with a thump and muffled tallic sound, once again Yvlena took her ti admiring it. She looked at her face reflected in the surface and felt excitent grow within her, now the main story could progress.

“I’ll start off easy.” She said, taking out the ingredients for the Entanglia potion.

The cauldron bubbled to life as she began adding the ingredients she needed to make at least five of the desired potions. With it, she would be able to help Sprite bind an enemy in place while they attacked.

“Whew, let’s continue.” She huffed tapping the sides of her cauldron with a sigh, she brushed a strand of hair behind her ear and cleared out the vessel to begin brewing her next set of potions.

Yvlena lifted her hand over her head in a long and satisfying stretch. Leaning over the cauldron had done a number on her back, she didn’t know how long she had stood there brewing, but the Skill Level up was incredibly welco.

“I bet the potions are a higher grade now, I hope.” She laughed. She would use the Adiri specs to check later.

Now that the easier potions were done, Yvlena turned her attention to the recipe for the Purifying Elixir, the only thing halting her progress with clearing the Verdant Lake.

“Okay, here we go.” She said, clearing her cauldron once more.
