Two days had passed since I had entered the realm, and now we are just minutes away from the core region.
We moved fast, and we are nearly there.
This is a dangerous and unstable space; we don’t want to stay here more than we need to, but to do that, we will need to deal with the leakage.
That will also make this realm more stable.
Soon, over ten minutes passed, and we reached the boundary of it.
"Velvet Curtain," said Dynvar, and it did look like it. The corruption is so thick and powerful in front of us that it forms a large curtain wall of corruption.
It’s so dense and shiny, and it looked beautiful in a scary way.
We didn’t stop to admire and moved toward it with healthy caution.
We only stopped when we were a step away from it. "Let’s hope we will survive it," she said. "We will," I replied with a grin before stepping inside.
The mont I did, I felt that dense, powerful energy. It is far thicker than I had expected and powerful.
Though I imdiately felt familiarity with it. It is similar to what is leaking outside. It relieved because I know we are in the right place.
"The corruption is stronger than the information had stated," she said, with a frown on her face. "It’s the leak, it had permitted here as well," I replied.
"This is going to make things difficult," she said. "It’s nothing to be surprised about. We had expected such surprises," I replied.
The frown on her face eased, and she took out the tool. A minute later, she took a step forward.
We had only taken a couple of steps when I stopped and put my hand in front of her. She didn’t question and concentrated on stealth.
A few seconds later, she had sensed the monster, a Pri.
It is a large, grey feline with red stripes; it looks very dangerous, and it is. We could deal with it, but there is no need to fight needlessly.
A mont later, we moved. Avoiding the monster easily.
We are one of the strongest Pris in the world. There are a few monsters of the Pri state that could stop us.
A few minutes passed, and we ca across more of the Pri monsters. We avoided them like we avoided the broken formations.
Their density may not be as high as that we see at so places, but they are most dangerous.
Every single one of them has the power to kill us. I could feel the power they have inside, and it scares .
What scares the most is that. If several of them exploded, it would be extrely hard to survive, much less the realm-wide event.
It will be terrible for us and horrible for the organization, as it will expose all the corruption.
A few hours passed, and we finally slowed down as we reached one place.
There is a colossal pillar releasing monochromatic light, spreading across a large area. The strange thing about it is that it is.
"The light path is a shortcut that will save us one day of travel," she said.
"It will also suppress our stealth and strength," I replied. She nodded.
"I think we should take it. We didn’t have much ti, this will take us to our destination far quickly," I said. "It will," she replied with a sigh.
The next mont, we walked toward it before stepping inside.
Imdiately, I felt my power suppressed. Around 22%; my clones imdiately begin to work on dealing with it. "It had suppressed half of my power," she said, and I nodded.
We moved fast.
This place may look calm in the corrupt darkness, but it is no less dangerous than outside. It will save us over a day’s worth of ti.
It didn’t take us long to co across our first monster, but we avoided it and the one that ca after and after.
All of them are powerful, and they didn’t look like they were much suppressed here.
Soon, half an hour passed, and looking at the speed we are moving. We will need another hour before we can get out of here.
That is a very good ti.
A few minutes passed, and I stopped as another monster appeared—the most powerful we have found here.
Thankfully, it was moving far away from us. When suddenly it sniffed the air and turned toward us —instead, toward Dynvar.
"It had found us," she said, and I nodded.
Roar!
The monster roared and ca at us, while I sighed and stepped forward. Usually, Dynvar deals with monsters, but with her suppressed, it will take her ti to deal with this, the ti we didn’t have.
So, I could deal with it and save us so ti.
Besides, it’s a good opportunity to fight. I had barely fought since I had started traveling with her in the marsh. I wanted to fight many tis, but I let her do it.
Now, my chance had co, and I couldn’t help but feel excited about it.
I have to remind myself that this is a small house
The wolf is the size of a small house with dark grey fur and black long, black nails, which are covered in a thick wild corruption.
Its eyes are bright yellow, and they are filled with fury. We have entered its territory, and it doesn’t like that.
It appeared in front of us, but it didn’t attack imdiately. No, it looked at us, sniffed, and covered us with its presence. It seed to have sensed sothing as its eyes turned hesitant.
Seeing that, I hope it will leave. As much as I want to fight it, it will be quicker and safer if it leaves.
Our goal here is to fix the leak as soon as possible and not play around.
Roar!
Finally, it made a decision and roared before leaping at . Seeing that, I sighed, and my sword appeared in my hand.
I wanted to avoid fighting, but it wants to fight. I will give it a fight.
