I could feel the eyes on as I flew toward the Bear. They want to see my strength.
I do not mind it.
I want to fight the beast as well. It is ugly but dangerous. Most importantly, it is sothing I had never fought before.
The mont I found what it was, I asked my clones to read about it. So of the things they had made quite curious foreign.
I want to collect their sample and do so research.
However, I will need to be extrely careful. These are extrely dangerous foreign. That works sneakily. If I am not careful, I might get infected myself.
Roar!
The bear roared as it saw , the pus coming toward with its roar from the pores and blisters in its mouth.
"Co, little monster," I challenged as I appeared before it.
The monster understood it as it ca toward with rage burning in its eyes. The special thing about itornas is that its infection doesn’t reduce intelligence.
It increases in many cases. However, it depends on the kind of Itornas that infected it.
It makes them extrely dangerous when they infect intelligent beings. Their intelligence remains after infection, but they beco a complete puppet of Itornas.
The bear’s attack ca. It is in the form of a claw, covered in the power of fire laws and its own energy.
The mutation had affected the power, making it more dangerous. There is also that pus, from the pores; it is the thing I need to be most cautious of.
As the claw ca close, my sword appeared in my hand, and swung it toward it.
Clang!
My blade clashed against the massive claw, and I felt the energies with law power coming toward . I let it while repelling away the pus.
Roar!
The Bear roared as it shook and attacked again, with more power of fire law entering its attack.
I moved to defend while looking at the energy that entered inside my armor.
It is resilient, with a thornlike structure that wants to destroy everything. The law mixed in with it makes it even more powerful and hard to deal with.
This energy is as difficult as the Grimm energy mixed with ancestral power.
Thankfully, my formations are dealing with it. I have made a lot of changes in the realm of dealing with Grimms, and more than half of the changes are working on it.
Still, I would need to collect as much data as possible.
I might, one day, fight against the infected, who are more powerful than , and I would need all the advantages I could to deal with it.
I pushed distracting thoughts away and moved to deal with its another attack.
...
"He is not using the law," said Pri Karavamiv, seeing Arys clashing against the infected bear monster.
His aura, which had been unstable till now, had beco stable as he moved to fight the infected monster, but the runes flashing on his body remained unchanged.
"I don’t think he has a law," said Pri Rava, and everyone turned to her.
"Why do you think that?" asked Pri Joala. "When I was healing him, I didn’t sense it. Even after he woke up and we started extraction, he didn’t use it,"
"It would have made the process less painful and faster for him," she replied.
"Then how is he able to remove half of the spatial power of his body within three months?" asked Pri Gold. She had co to see him when they brought him to the village.
"That even I wasn’t able to see. There are a lot of things in him that have remained invisible to . If I were to guess, it is likely because of those runes." she replied.
"Have you been able to understand what they an?" asked Pri Avana. "No," replied Pri Karamiv; they had copied and sent the runes to him.
He is the foremost expert on the ancient runes in the village.
"My strongest guess is that they are part of several incomplete formations. Though, other tis, they felt complete gibberish to ," he added.
Seconds passed, and they watched the battles. However, most are focused on one man.
"He is a talented fighter. Little reckless, I might say, seeing how he is letting the energies into him, without creating any resistance," said Pri Gold with a frown appearing on her face.
"That armor is his resistance. Despite so much energy going inside it, there is no change in it," replied Pri Karamiv. To that, the woman beside him couldn’t help but nod.
They are looking at the whole battle carefully. If anyone is in danger, they will act.
However, not before letting them suffer so heavy injuries.
They have been here for hundreds of years and understand that they are not enough. Many tis, the danger was big enough that they had lost people.
This is why they let people deal with danger whenever it cos.
They could easily deal with it with their power, but that wouldn’t make them grow. Push themselves so they can comprehend the law to a greater degree.
The two had reached the limit of comprehension in the Pri. They could still comprehend the law; there is no limit to it, but it is extrely slow.
It had been centuries since they had made big progress in their comprehension.
Others have not reached their limit, and they are fostering them.
There was no other choice; this realm had dangers that could kill them. It had killed the people of their level and could also kill them.
...
Rip Clang Rip!
My sword cut across the bear over and over. It had been able to defend a very few of my attacks.
It could fight well, but it is still a dumb monster.
I am using the sa strength as it in the attacks, but I have already covered its body with hundreds of bloody cuts.
"It’s ti to finish you off," I said and moved toward it.
Roar!
It seed to understand it and roared before attacking with the most powerful, which I avoided by an inch before appearing in front of it and swinging my sword.
Pachac!
Its puss-filled head flew away as my blade cleanly cleaved through it. Ending its torturous existence.
