Chapter 4247 Man Eater
There are three people.

A risk, I rather not take, seeing they are hunting for the forbidden power.

Still, the cautiousness is necessary. So, I slowly pushed my hands into the screen.
Even my soul sense couldn't go through it. My hand could. Once it entered the other side, I could release the soul sense and see what was happening.

I activated my full power without hesitation, but even that was able to only slow it down. It didn't stop it.
Soon, my hand went to the other side and released the soul sense, and what I saw couldn't help, but shock .

Soon, my entire arm went inside, and my head started until one side of it reached the other side.
There, I saw an old man looking at with a grin.
Around him are the bones. I didn't have to guess the kind of bones they were. One glance is enough to tell that they are the bones of people, and the man had eaten them.
My first thought was that he was a cultist. There are so cults, that eat people.
That thought lasted for a fraction of a second. Until I detected the hint of aura that the very world seed to detest.
The old man is no cultist. He is a corrupted.
It's been a while since I ca across one of his kind. Not for my friend, he and his family aren't man-eaters.
He is the reason why, corrupted are hunted without exception.
He is a category of the pair; I had co across. They wanted to eat after they finished with , and they could have. If not for vaporizing them through the broken formation.

The old man looked human in his late sixties, with thick white hair and deep blue eyes.
He is an Initial Pri, but there seed to be no fear across his face for and that scared .
"I was about to leave after cleaning up, but you ca. It seed like fortune wants to leave fully satiated," he said as I fully entered the other side.

The man is a mber of the Pri organization and has been since he was a
Primary-III.
"Corrupted is such a bad word. I would like to refer to myself as a united being. I am part of both sides; a perfect being," he replied with a grin.
"It seed like, you ate two. Who had co before?" I said to that he nodded.
"They were delicious," he replied. Licking his lips.
He didn't seem to be worried about stating that openly. He is not worried that I would
escape.
He is confident, that I would not escape.
"And you planned to eat ?" I asked. "Yes, very much. I haven't eaten a person from the other world before," he replied.
"I heard you had law powers that are sealed. That would make you even more delicious," he added, looking at the runes floating around .
"I am afraid, I am not sothing. You could digest it easily. You will not be able to, even if I just sit down and let you have your way," I said, and this ti, I smiled.
He understood what I ant, and his eyes beca serious and more focused on the runes.
"That might be true, but you had seen . So, now either you will die or I," he said and simply disappeared.
One mont he was standing there, another mont. He vanished without a trance
Nobody had ever vanished in my soul sense like that. It shocked and also scared because I knew what enabled it.
