Volsnorth
'Volsnorth, co to building seven imdiately!' the voice rang out in my mind, shocking
.
Building seven is the most secret place in the Tor.
It is the place where the most important eting of the organization is held. Being invited is the biggest honor for the pri.
Invitation for the eting there, co at least a week prior. The only ti I had gone there, I had got an invitation three weeks before the eting.
The imdiate eting happens only when there is sothing really serious. Sothing important. Sothing that could harm or help the organization.
"I have to go. I have been summoned," I said to my colleagues. Imdiately, turning their expression serious.
I am in the middle of an important eting. It's a yearly budget eting.
"Is it serious?" asked Aevith. "I don't know," I replied and disappeared before they could ask any more of the questions.
Soon, I appeared in a restricted space and placed my palm in the air.
Imdiately, formation appeared before revealing the door. The formation is made of ancient runes.
The eting place is the most secure space on the island. Even Golden Pri couldn't spy on
us.
I stepped in, appearing in front of the wooden building.
It is seven stories tall and looks average. It is made of average material, but it is where the idea of Tor had ford.
It may have been made of low-level materials but given the formations surrounding it. It is really hard to break, as hard as the island it's on.
'Top floor,'
Said the voice as I reached the door. Shocking even more.
The seriousness of the subject and the consequences decide the floor of the building where the eting will be held. The top floor ans it is related to the existence of the organization. 'Why I am here?' I asked myself.
The pris are invited only to the first floor only. In rare occurrences, it is the second floor, but never above that, and I had never heard any pri invited on the floor above.
Click!
I placed my hand, and ancient runes flashed again before the door opened.
I entered inside and took the stairs to the floor above, thinking about what was going on for them to invite the Pri like here.
With my power and experience. I am not much useful here.
Soon, I reached the door of the second floor and put my palm against it. The door opened, and I walked inside.
Click!
I did it till, I reached the seventh floor, before opening the door.
When I walked inside the top floor. What I had seen shocked . There are silver pris there, nine of them.
I thought we had only eight of them, but nine were sitting in front of , but it is not what shocked . What shocked was the woman, sitting in the head seat.
"Lord founder," I greeted and bowed. "Take a seat volsnorth," she said.
She looked normal. There is not even a hint of aura or the power of the laws coming from it. She looked like a normal person, but she was far from one.
She is one of the most powerful powerhouses in the world. The reason tor hadn't been destroyed by the cults despite the work we do.
If not for her; the tor would have been destroyed a long ti ago.
"Thank you, lord founder," I said and sat down, while the eyes of everyone turned on .
I am scared. Every one of them is powerful enough here, that they could kill . I have no resistance against them.
A mont passed and then another, but nobody spoke. They just looked at with heaviness in their eyes. I have never seen such emotions in their eyes before.
I wanted to speak.
Ask them why they had called here and even opened my mouth several tis, before closing it each ti.
"Were you aware that Micheal Zaar had the forbidden power?" asked the Lord Founder.
The question blanked for a mont. It shocked so much that I couldn't think about anything.
I didn't rember the last ti, I felt sothing like this.
Forbidden power.
It is the most amazing power in the world. It could help one do anything, bend the strictest rules of the world. It is what makes it the most desirable one, too.
Everyone wants, including the Golden Pris. To them, it is a thing that could help them open the next door.
"No. I don't think Michael has it. He might be more talented than others, but it isn't because of the forbidden power," I replied.
Nobody said anything for a mont before the drop of it appeared in the center of the table.
"He is really good. I needed to focus on the power of the island on it, to sense the slivers of forbidden power inside it," stated the lord founder.
It shook . This is clear proof.
The island had a function of identifying the forbidden power. His blood was able to evade it.
"I truly did not know. I thought his progress was because of his talent and hard work, he is
putting."
"We had mbers like him before, so progressed much faster than him," I said, after nearly a minute of silence.
"I read his files, and the young man is really cautious. Which is good, he is going to need it with the entire world moving to hunt him down," said the lord founder and turned to .
"Do you have any way to contact him?" he asked, and I shook my head.
"If you have it, then tell him, not to co to the organization. We would not be able to protect him from others and ourselves," he stated.
He is right. If he ca here, forget our enemies. Our own mbers will go after him.
Even I couldn't help, but feel greed for it. It made feel ashad, but it's the truth. With forbidden power, there is no one in the world who could protect him.
