I collected the samples, and my strings moved forward through the system of the roots, while my clones began to analyze the samples they had got.
There is a complex system of roots here; sothing well beyond my abilities.

While I was investigating with my strings, I am also keeping an eye out. There are many Earth Sovereigns trying to get out and arguing before being rudely shoved down by the Sky Sovereigns.
They were not being gentle about it too.
Saying they are reason; they are alive and should be grateful. As this thing will benefit them imnsely.
Listening to their conversation, I had found an answer to one of my questions.
Seeing the scale of the explosion, I thought many Earth Sovereigns would have died and so Sky Sovereigns too, but it turned out, not a single person had died.
They began to sense the instability two hours before the explosion. It gave them ample ti to reach far enough from it. The distance wouldn't have been enough for the Sky Sovereigns.
Not to ntion, it was night and Sky Sovereigns would have died, even without an explosion.
The energy was dense enough to kill them.
It is Sky Sovereigns that saved them, not only from the energy but also from the explosions.
When I think about it; it all seed convenient. The signs of explosion appearing, it is exploding with Sky Sovereign saving most of the people and then this do appearing deep in the ground where the temple had been.
Maybe I am being cynical.
It is not like, the places hadn't exploded before in this ruin and revealed the thing underneath. It has happened several tis already, but still, whether it is my nerves or overthinking; I am not feeling good about it.
I focused back on the string, which was moving forward, and soon, it reached the closest circle to , which was releasing the cleansing energy.
"Wow," I said as I looked at the working of the cleansing working.
The formation activated, and I spent a few minutes recording the whole thod. If I hadn't been in a hurry, I would have studied the thod, but I controlled the urge and focused on the string.
It moved ahead, checking, before it stopped once again.
This ti, in the place where Sky Sovereigns is sitting; I have to say, he had a lot of impurities in his body. Really, a lot; this place is a blessing for him, better than the old temple would have given him the enhancents.
Impurities are bad. They slow down progress and impede one from reaching their full potential.
I recorded the required data and moved the string forward.
It took over an hour before the string reached near the tree, which was surrounded by a circle of complex roots.
When the string is inside it; I found out, that even with the forbidden power. There is no straight way there.
The waves of forbidden power would be quickly whittled down, that they wouldn't be able to go more than a few ters. That is not enough to find a quick way toward the tree.
It is frustrating, but not totally useless as I saw the complex working of these roots.
Even with their power degraded, these roots could do far more than cleanse the impurities. Maybe those sky sovereigns are right, and this tree might offer really great benefits after it is reached.
It took more than four hours before the string had finally reached the tree.
Gasp!
As it did, I got to see a small section of it, which was more than enough to make gasp in wonder.
So people looked at strangely and one of the Sky Sovereigns, stopping people, looked at for several seconds. I am glad the soul sense does not enter these root circles.
I wouldn't like it if he found out what I was doing.
I focused back on the section of the tree, which is an excitedly complex structure, with ancient runes mixed with the common runes.

It is amazing, and I looked at it with wide eyes. Trying to understand what I could from this marvelous thing. It is too complex for to understand it's working, but I have enough experience to get a few hints.

I controlled my urges and focused string; a few formations activated and collected the data from every aspect, before moving the string ahead.
The tree is a complex with high defensive asures I moved my strings slowly. I would have liked it if it could have moved faster, but unfortunately, I couldn't, if I didn't want to activate those defensive asures.
It is fortunate that this thing had regressed in grade and power. If it had it at its peak, there is no way I would have been able to keep my strings hidden, no matter how forbidden energy I poured into it.
Hours passed as I scan and map every section of it, from trunk to branches, till only one had remained.
I had co across it earlier, but I decided to not touch it.
In the center of the tree's trunk, there is a light blue-ball, with shades of green. It made it look like a planet.
This sphere is covered in dense, near-invisible formation. This formation is the most powerful one and has more ancient runes than any formation in the whole tree.
It is also projecting a massive power.
It is the reason why, I wouldn't be piercing my string into it until I understand it, which is easier than breaking, which I couldn't do with my current abilities.
Even understanding it would be a challenge.
