First was the mist and now the Grimms; we are in deep-deep trouble, we might as well get wiped out in this freaking ruin.
Mist, I can avoid, but how can I avoid Grimms, who had been here for at least a month? The Grimms, of whom, all the weaklings being wiped out and now, only the strongest, had remained.
I am scared being every inch of my life because I understood how dangerous things have beco.
In a minute, I have changed my goals or rather, had erased everything else except for one. To find an exit and get out of here, it didn't matter. If the exit leads to the organization.
In the organization, even if they didn't keep their word, I will be able to escape. It might take ti, but I will be able to do it.
If I stayed here too long, that will not be the truth. The Grimms, if they are truly here, as I think they are, then we will be hunted like beasts by them.

I closed and tried to calm myself; I would have taken deep breaths as I usually do, but the monster is too close, and I don't want to take the risks.

I had been excited about the ruin, wanting to collect resources and see the wonders. Now, I want to get the hell away from it. It is too dangerous for ; not only for , but for nearly everyone else.
Aside from the Earth Sovereigns, they are the only ones who could relatively guarantee their life.
A minute later, I walked out of my hiding hole, when Nero said it is safe to get out.
'Nero, Grimms are here, keep an eye on every sign,' I said to him. 'Yes, father,' he said, sounding excited. Seeing that, I couldn't help but sigh.
Thankfully, he understands when to engage and when not.
A few more minutes passed, and I have co across another monster. I did not hide this ti. It was too far, that Nero said. It won't be able to see with all the ruined buildings.
In my life, I have never co across a ruin, where I couldn't fight a monster. I would always be capable of fighting one.
Here it is not the case, all the monsters here are sovereigns and I am not a match of them. If they see , I am dead; even Nero wouldn't be able to take more than a few moves from them.
It is not like there aren't any Primary monsters, there are, but those stayed hidden.
From what Nero had seen, they are small and growing rapidly. It seed like they live under the protection of their parents till they reached the Sovereign stage, before going out on their own.
Another minute passed, and I stopped again, and this ti, I have seen a fruit tree.
There are a couple of fruits and seeing there are no monsters around, I sent my thick strings and picked them. I have changed my goals, but that does not an I will not collect the resources.
I have been collecting them as I am moving. I am not going to leave these precious resources when I am in desperate need of them.
In less than ten hours, I have collected a lot of these resources, and if I survived here, a few days. I will have a huge amount of them, but alas, the resources are not the goal.
The goal is to escape, but I am going to leave the resources I see on the way.
An hour passed, and I am moving carefully through the city ruins. Avoiding the monsters and collecting the resources, while looking at every sign of escape, which I did not see.

A few more minutes passed and when I sensed sothing from behind .
Imdiately, my soul sense moved like a string for a greater range and a few seconds later, I sensed it.
I surprised myself but also made happy.
'Nero, take a look,' I said to him. I sensed the person, and they are fighting. I wasn't able to find much other than they are being Sovereign and fighting.
I couldn't even tell what gender they are and what race they belong to.
It is beyond my range and the only reason I could sense what I sense before I had transford my soul sense into a thin string.
Nero moved. It took him twenty seconds to reach before moving toward the fight at the speed at which he blur to . I also begin to move toward the fight, but I am going too slow and will stop at a safe range.
I have seen what happened to the last Sovereign. He died very badly before getting eaten by the monsters.
A little more than a half minute later, he reached the fight. Only for to see a woman with bronze skin and red-tallic hair, piercing, one of her two swords into the skull of a hyena monster.
Three more hyenas ca at her, and she killed another one instantly and fought against two, who beca cautious.
Seeing the way she is fighting; I increased the speed.
Twenty seconds later, she finished her battle and looked at the two monsters who were looking at her. She kept looking at them till they ran away.
She collected the monster parts and looked at . I am still quite far away from her, but she sensed . I didn't try to hide myself and intentionally spread my aura around so she could discover .
She stayed on her spot, till I reached her.
"Let save you ti. No, if you have co to ask to take you with ; this ruin is dangerous enough for . I don't want another burden," she said as I stopped in front of her.
It stumped . I opened my closed mouth and smiled.
I was not going to ask her that; I had opened my mouth for a greeting. I know well enough what happened when you put your life in others' hands.
"Thank you, but I am capable of protecting my own life," I said, and a smile appeared on her face.
"So, then why are you here?" she asked. "To show you this," I said, and a small piece of torn cloth appeared in my hand. She took a look at it, before turning to with an arched brow.
"I found it a few hours ago, in a place I was hiding from the monsters. It belongs to spawn,"
"My tests show, its user had been here barely a month ago," I said, and her expression changed drastically.
"Fuck !" she cursed with her expression turning bad; I had felt the sa when I co to know it.
