"Fuck!"
I cursed; the sword cut deeply before it disappeared. If it had been a fraction of late, I would have found myself cut in two.
It is too dangerous, and I might have acted hastily. Going for the first clear chance I had seen from it. I need to be careful, not to make such a mistake in the future.
I hope that the Lizardman survives after the price I paid to kill it.
A mont ago, to crush its defenses and pull it inside my core quickly. I took the risk and sent it near death's door. Usually, immobilize them when I pierce the sword inside them for safe harvesting.
The things are looking delicate for it. It might survive the harvest, or it might not.
Well, at least I will get a crystal from it. If it did not survive. Their value is not even a tenth of the essence rose, but it is still better than nothing.
Hun!
I had just landed on the ground when I saw a Sparrowman coming from the air. It is very fast and powerful. A High-Primary-III and, seeing the way it is coming toward . It is quite experienced in it.
It took it a second to reach and it swung its two long swords toward .
A powerful move not many could defend, not to ntion. Even if one can defend it, the second blade will cut them into two.
"Die human!" it said as its blade reached very close to .
It smiled, thinking, I am already dead and that the closer its blade gets, the wider its smile would beco.
Soon, the blade blades were just an inch away from . When suddenly, the smile on its face froze as the blade touched , or rather after image.
Puch!
The shock in its eyes turned to horror when it felt sothing sharp on its back, but it was already later. As the sword had pierced its chest and a mont later, it disappeared.
I landed back on the ground with an expressionless face.
I am in pain. The injury on my back is painful. Every movent I make sent a painful pulse that I could barely bear. I wish I could heal it, but I could not as the wound has dense icy energies.
I am currently focused on whittling away the energies, but it will still take a few minutes before healing it.
A few minutes might not seem much, but it is life and death in a place like this.
It would have been great. If the Lizardman or Sparrowman had the bloodline, but unfortunately, they did not. I will have to heal the injury on my own.
pαndα---noνɐ1,сoМ Still, I could not wait around for it to heal. I will have to continue fighting or Grimms will co at . I do not want that; I want to choose my opponent, those with bloodlines.
I looked around at thousands of people fighting. Many died by the minute, both natives and the Grimms.
From what I could see, nobody was having an advantage, and seeing that. I couldn't help but feel relieved. I had feared the Grimm will get an advantage because of their large numbers and discipline.
Still, the natives are difficult to deal with and if they had the experience, the people of my world had.
We would have been chasing the running Grimms.
The Grimms of our world would never fight us unless they have at least 2.5 tis our number. Most of the ti, they would have three tis more numbers. It was their stable.
It took a second to look at all the Grimms before I chose the one I need to fight and moved toward it.
Every movent is giving pain, but I bore it as I took the step toward my prey.
"Die, you bastard!"
Shouted the Werewolf as it appeared in front of , before swinging its claws at full power. It is a High-Primary III and is about just as powerful as the Sparrowman. It did not have a bloodline.
PUCH!
I appeared in front of it and pierced my sword into its chest before its claws could cross half the distance between us.
A second later, it disappeared, and I walked toward my prey. It is four hundred ters away from , but there are many people and Grimms fighting in between.
Hun!
Suddenly, I noticed sothing and moved left. Killing another Grimm, which ca in my way, before moving toward a new Grimm, which appeared in my radius.
Puch!
I pierced my sword in the back of Ratman, and a mont later, it disappeared. "That was my prey, you bastard!" scread the red stone-skin man.
"My apologies. I hope that will be enough to calm your anger," I said, motioning toward the storage and artifact of the Ratman. I only took the body, not the artifact and storage.
"Don't steal others' prey," said the stone-skin man with a glare as it quickly swept up the storage and artifacts of the ground.
"My apologies," I said and walked toward my prey.
The Ratman had flashed in my radius, and I had to kill it. As it had the bloodline.
I now have five Grimms in my storage, and it did not reach the limit. My core could still take a couple more and I don't think I will need much ti. I will fill it before I reach my prey.
With the Ratman dead. I resud my journey toward my prey. Bearing the pain, I am feeling at every movent.
Puch!
I killed the Bearman, which attacked with the ax. It should have focused on the weasel Beastman, it is fighting instead of taking a chance at .
I crossed two hundred ters, taking two more Grimms inside . Making eight Grimms in my core, with only one with a bloodline.
Now there are a little over a hundred ters between and my prey.
Hun!
Suddenly, all the hair on my body stood up, and I turn, only to see a giant arrow coming toward , at a very fast speed. It was shot by the Pigeonman, who is having an archery battle with the blue-horned woman.
I wanted to dodge the attack, and I could, instead I gathered every bit of power; I had and swung my sword toward the coming arrow.
I have to destroy it otherwise. It will tear apart quite a few people fighting behind them. They are not strong enough to defend against it.
Still, it is going to be painful.
BANNNNG!
The arrows clashed against my sword and exploded with imnse power. Sending flying a couple of steps back with vomiting a mouthful of blood.
"Fuck!"
I cursed loudly as a sharp pain rang through my back that brought tears to my eyes. I bore it, before resuming my walk toward the prey.
It took a little over five minutes to reach it and when I did. There were eleven Grimms in my storage and they are shaking it.
My core is under the strain, but I am confident it will be able to handle it.
