"All trespassers must die!"

Ca out through the golem as I positioned myself behind the broken formation, where there was sufficient space, before turning to the golems.

It is moving slowly, but with each step, it is getting faster and firr, I wanted to attack it imdiately, but I did not think it would be wise, so I had focused on the different things.

I looked at it carefully, especially its crack-filled body; there were cracks everywhere on it, the biggest one on its neck, taking a third of it, but seeing the material, it would be very hard for to damage it, but I will have to try.

The Golem is bad enough, but it is not the biggest danger; the biggest danger is the place itself, which I had been laden in broken formation.

So might be harmless, as not all the formations are broken formations, but there will be so which have enough power to vaporize on the spot.

So, not only do I have to deal with the golem, but I also need to watch I do not step on sothing I do not need to.

Which is very hard, considering every enemy I had fought in this place had the power to send back.

'It seed like there was no choice,' I said with a sigh and did the thing I had so far resisted doing in this ruin.

'Fourth Burst!'

I activated the fourth burst, which is not the only thing I did; I have also activated the formation, which I had only perfected a few days ago.

Buzz!

As the formation activated, its energy ca out and mixed with my burning essence. This energy is made of life-source from the necrotic plant and divine nectar; I had got not long ago, and a few other things.

As both energies rged, my power swelled.

If I had this formation when I was fighting against the eight Grimms, I wouldn't have been as desperate as I had been, and so are others.

It had reached halfway with deliberate steps before suddenly turning into a blur and appearing directly in front of , avoiding broken formation.

"Die!"

It shouted, and a great sword ca toward at a blurring speed that startled but did not stop my sword from moving, which was already in position.

I am very glad that I have improved the visual formations; in the battle against the Grimms, I was not able to see their weapons when they used their full power and only fought with their instincts.

I don't know whether it would have worked against the golem or not. I am just glad I did not have to find out.

CLANNNG!

Its great sword clashed against mine, and I shook, nearly taking a step back.

The sheer physical force was too much; it had roiled my internals, but not enough to be injured.

Though, if I had not been burning my blood, I would have been sent back crashing with injuries all over my body.

The golem did not waste any ti and attacked again with more power than before; it too burned even more essential for the greater power and formation inside my core shone brighter to match the increased energy needs.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG

I had defended against its attacks, and it launched another and then another without wasting even a fraction second, with each of its attacks being more powerful than the previous.

It is not just attacks that are powerful; its skills are also great. It is far more skillful than the Grimms, it is as skillful as old Grand Lords, and if I am not seeing it being a golem, I would have thought I was fighting so sentient being.

Hun!

Suddenly, when its sword was mid-way, it had disappeared, and I sensed it behind and imdiately moved my sword behind.

I was quite surprised when I saw the weapon coming at was no longer a great sword but a spear that was coming for my head.

I moved my wrist a little; if I had continued in the sa way, it would have been able to avoid my sword with the skills it had and pierced my body.

CLANNNG!

The spear tried to move around my sword like a snake, but I acted quickly and stopped it before it reached .

As I did, it once again disappeared, appearing directly above , bringing that spear to like a drill at my head.

I reacted and moved my sword up; this is quite a difficult manure for both parties.

Only those confident of their abilities or those foolish use them as one simple mistake, and the enemy's blade will be on you.

CLANNNG!

Our weapons clashed, and it appeared to my left, attacking once with its ranging spear.

Attacks after attacks ca, and while I defended, my expression couldn't help but beco worse.

Even after thousands of years, the golem still held incredible power, and as it fought , I noticed there was no fluctuation of power, everything was running smoothly, and those cracks were also stable; not a single one widened by even a centiter.

Still, its power is increasing.

I don't know how much power it could use even after all these years, but I will need to have it in my grasp before it uses the power that I cannot handle.

Hun!

Once again, it appeared in front of and attacked, and I imdiately looked wide, shocked. The formation inside roared to its full speed; at the sa ti, I had burned my essence to the highest.

It imdiately filled my body with power, which I had never experienced before, but even this power did not give the confidence to face what was coming.

The increase in its power is too sudden; till now, it had been increasing its strength at a constant amount, but now it has multiplied it many tis.

CLANNNNG!

I stopped the invisible spear coming toward , but as I did. My expression changed drastically before a mouthful of blood flew out of my mouth, and I began to take steps back rapidly.

I activated all the formations that could stop this montum; I did not care whether it broke my bones or split my skin, but I had to stop, or I would step into the broken formation.

For all I know, it could vaporize the mont I stepped inside it.

Finally, I had stopped right at the edge of the broken formation; seeing that, I couldn't take a sigh of relief, which I had even finished taking, when I felt its spear coming toward with greater power than before.

'Goddammit!' I cursed loudly and moved my sword to defend myself while harnessing as much power as I could from burning the essence.

I had been doing that since a second ago and was able to harness quite a lot of it, but still, I would have liked to have more.

As I am standing on a cliff, a single step back and I will fall to my death, and I don't want to die in the hands of the golem, no matter how smart it is.
