CLANNNG

Once again, its Warhamr ca down at , bringing another flurry of blood-red leaved crashed into my body, tearing apart already torn skin and the lacerating pain that felt all over my body.

Not to ntion the energy colder than ice they released through my body, wanting to freeze from the inside out.

It is a truly dangerous curse.

"Anrd, co back; if you keep attacking it like that, our human friend will not be able to bear it," said the old snake, and the Bronze Elephantman stopped and went back to it.

"Don't overestimate , old snake; this curse of yours won't be able to kill ," I said to it, to that old snake smiled. "That I have no doubt about; if killing you had been this easy, I would have done that the first ti I had fought you," it said, not sounding angry at all when talking about the past failures.

"It's good you understand that," I said.

Tap!

"Yes, I understand it clearly," said the old snake and tapped on the space gently; as it did, its realized domain began to materialize.

I did not try to escape, if I wanted to, I could escape any ti, and it is not a ti to do that, especially before achieving the endga, which both old snake and I have; as for who will succeed, one could not tell.

"Now that the domain has enveloped you, I will reveal my card; I have specially prepared it to kill you," said the old snake while Anrd, besides deactivated its bloodline armor, revealing its body.

It is a very dangerous thing to do.

It is armor that protects the body inside no matter how strong it is; it is still frail compared to the armor.

I have heard no Grimm Grand Lords are in front of each other without armor; they always have it active when they are in the company of another Grand Lord.

Anrd is really its pet, as no other Grimm Grand Lord would do such a thing.

"Marks of Haedasr!" shouted the old snake and placed its hand on the back of Andr, and imdiately, a dense formation of geotric lines and Grimm scrip appeared. It is extrely complex that I, who have a rudintary understanding of Grimm script, could tell from head to tail.

Still seeing the script, my eyes couldn't help but widen because this script had not appeared when it placed its hand, as Grimm wanted to believe.

I have worked on such things in the project long enough to know that the formation has been carved on it before, and looking at how hard it is trying to stop my soul sense from sensing the true nature of it, I could guess the ink is made of extrely precious material.

I am right; the mont my soul sense with rule-bending power touched it, I felt the power of ink, which was powerful enough to raise all the hair on my body.

As the scrip appeared, a curse white as snow appeared in its hand and began to fill the black runes, turning them while, and soon, the geotric lines and scrip inside all turned while like a death.

Clap!

"Now die in peace, Zaar; I promise you, I will take good care of your body till I assimilate it into ," It said and clapped on the back of the Anrd, and the formation lit, and with it, the bloodline armor appeared on its body, and it ca at .

The mont it took a step, my eyes couldn't help but widen in horror, and it began to charge the formation on its end, too, and the thing it was using its life force.

The Grimms do not do that unless they are in very desperate straight; burning life force is a serious affair for both humans and Grimms. It could take them days to years to recover from the damage, and not to ntion; so people never be able to recover from it as their potential gets destroyed.

I have been burning my essence since before the Tyrant class, and I know how careful I had been; many tis, I had co close to destroying potential.

Though, it is the best risk I have ever taken; if I had not started burning my essence, I would have never survived the danger; I faced in the Emperor stage.

It is not only burning its essence but burning in it a pulling power from what I could tell; as at such, even with vigorous essence that is natural Grimms and aid of bloodlines, it still wouldn't be able to sustain the formation for more than a minute, before it begins to damage potential; that even bloodline might be able to help it recover.

"Die, human!"

It shouted as it appeared in front of in a fraction of a second, much faster than I had anticipated before raising its Warhamr up in the air and bringing it down with full might.

As it, the runes, which now had turned half white-half red, released a thick pink mist, that seeing it, my whole body shuddered now that thick mist flowed into its arms before covering its Warhamr, making it look like a weapon of death.

I did not think even about countering the attack; my sword had disappeared while I watched the attack coming down at .

CLANNNNNG!

Its Warhamr was just a ter ahead of when it crashed into my invisible shields, lighting them like blinding sun, while my eyes went wide as I felt the impact.

There is no way I could have defended this attack before consuming the bloodline essence of the Wood Horn Goatman and getting that big boost.

This boost is the only thing that saved my shields from cracking; they would have even if I had burned my essence.

"Not cracked!" said Anrd, and there was a surprise on its face and the face of the old snake but no disappointnt. The smile on the old snake's face returned, and it seed to be brighter than before.

"Good, very good; it would have been a disappointnt if these amazing shields of yours had been blasted to pieces in a single attack," said the old snake, and the next mont, sothing surprising happened.

The Warhamr of Arnd disappeared and placed its two huge hands on my shield with a crazed looked in its eyes, and a mont after that, the Grimm script covering its body beca blinding and to slide across its body and flowed into my shield.

They flowed toward my shields as they ca out of it, and I wanted to destroy them, but that would be difficult, given the power of runes.

So, I let them cover my shields till they completely flowed out of it and covered my whole shield.

Now, the only point connecting the runes and Grimms is where it is sticking its hand, through which it is still pouring out an imnse amount of life essence into the runes.

"I had thought you would resist, but you did not, which is good, as now this overconfidence of your will beco your death," said the old snake, and its eyes turned cold, filled with such cruelty that I have not seen in any Grimm and the first ti since the battle began, I wanted to escape.
