I don't know what the Grimm might be feeling right now, but happiness is not one of those things; at the last second, it had understood everything, but it was too late.
The walls appeared like they did every hour; they changed exactly every hour, and there was a complex pattern in the place they would be appearing, it took a few hours, but I was able to solve that puzzle.
It is the reason why I changed my position the mont I sensed it and used everything I had, from words to my shield, to stay on the spot.
From my vast experience, I know how Grimms behave; this bastard behaved exactly as I had thought it would; it even maintained the sa distance as I had expected, which made things easy.
'I should deal with these injuries,' I said, looking at my grave injuries; I was injured before, but at the last mont, the Grimm had injured even further. It not looked like it, but my condition was very bad; if I left it as it was, I could die.
I did not imdiately begin, instead took a complete stock of injuries.
My bones are crushed, and my skin split in hundreds of places; the last attack of Grimm had even hard my soul, and on top of that, with drained essence, it could be said that I am pretty fucked; normal healing thods are pretty useless to right now.
Not to ntion, there is a dangerous curse present in my body, but I decided not to think about it after handling its responsibilities to my core.
The first thing I have to do is replenish my essence, which is easier said than done but still possible. I have so precious's resources that will help replenish my essence; once I have replenished a quarter of my essence, healing my injuries wouldn't be any problem.
Hun!
I was about to begin when suddenly a Grimm appeared and saw ; its eyes lit up; my eyes lit up too, especially after I had sensed its aura.
"It seed like soone had left an unfinished job; let finish it," it said and appeared in front of and brought down its club with the full power of the High Grandmaster.
BANNG!
A deafening bang rang out as the club crashed down, but it did not crash down on but against the red energy cover covering , which the attack was not able to crack. The only thing it had left a small ripple, which, too, had disappeared.
"Thank you, Nero," I said; a cute little thing appeared beside , which the Bullman looked at with great shock.
"Now, be a sweetheart and take the guest ho," I asked, "Sure, father," replied Nero and looked at Bullman with a smile that made stagger back for so reason.
"Little monster, I will kil"
Before the words could fully form the lips of giant Bullman, light red energy covered it, and it disappeared, appearing inside my core, where the runes have beco climbing on its body a mont later.
I was about to consu a very precious resource, but since the Grimm arrived, I don't have to; it will do the job much better quicker than the resource I was about to consu would have done.
Buzz!
Soon, the harvest began, and in less than two minutes, the Grimm had turned to husk while the faint stream of strengthening energy released into my body.
Since I had reached the complete limit, the strengthening essence had stopped, but now it has co as I have lost essence, and strengthening is the best thing I have ever co across to replenish.
I begin to feel comfortable feeling as my essence begins to replenish; at the sa ti, the strengthening essence begins to heal my injuries. The resource wouldn't have been able to do that, but the strengthening essence could.
Soon, the essence disappeared, and I slowly got up; nearly all my essence replenished, what little bit remained would be replenished within a day.
"Next ti we et, I will kill you," I said to the Grimm while waving my hand to the blurry figure, which is still present on the other side, likely looking at .
I did not waste much ti on it; my clone had already gone back to working on inheritance while I focused on the last problem, the curse.
Buzz!
The formations I have developed in my inheritance activated and connected with the formations from my core, forming defenses so tight that the curse would have a very hard ti breaking it.
I have designed both formations in such a way that they will strengthen each other. If my armor had been full power earlier, I would have dealt with the curse, not just continued to cage it.
As the formation inside my core and inheritance linked, they acted.
A stream of runes begins to release from the walls and move toward the curse, which is still trying to break through. The curse did not react to the runes as if it had not sensed them, even when the runes began to paste across its body.
Thousands of runes begin to paste across the curse, then thirty-two seconds later, a dense formation forms across the curse and its different parts.
I looked at the formation and took a deep breath.
I checked the defenses of the cage because what I was going to do right now was very dangerous, and I needed the perfect defense if things went south.
Buzz!
'Everything is perfect,' I said as I looked at the cage and activated the formation covering the curse.
Blinding radiance burst out of the runes; it was so bright that even I could not see anything through it.
This radiance is a special curse eradicating energy I have developed; the formation will form a domain around the curse and vaporize it.
Its sounds quite simple, but it is not; it is also very dangerous.
The curse really proved to be sothing that the old snake made; it is very powerful, but my energy is not weakling either.
Slowly but surely, it begins to vaporize the curse; the curse sensing its end begins to get volatile fast. It started on the final option, but I had already predicted that, and runes lit up and began to stabilize this volatility.
The formations were not able to stop the volatility, nor had I expected them to; them slowing down it already more than enough.
Ti passed as the curse got vaporized, and at the sa ti, it beca more and more volatile despite the efforts of formation, which only slowed down the process by a little.
BANNNG
Nineteen seconds later, the volatility reached its peak, and the curse exploded, rattling and cracking the wall of one cage after another.
The explosion of the curse was so powerful that it had cracked eight layers of cages, leaving only the ninth one fine. If it had cracked, then I would have suffered consequences, bad consequences.
Sigh!
I took a sigh of relief and began to clear away the residue of the curse; it was powerful and dangerous. I have to clean it all before even thinking about removing the cages.
