"Whether its silver or iron, we have to enter inside; once we enter this place, moving forward is the only choice," Jim said and walked toward.
Soon we appeared beside the door, and he placed both of his hands on the door before pushing it open. The door opened smoothly, revealing the space inside was no different than the one in place are in, but we had to go inside, as it was the only way to get out of this place.
We stepped into the other side, and as we had seen on the other side, it was filled with darkness; there was no difference between this room and the last one we were in, now that the grey door behind us had disappeared.
"Be careful; the enemy could appear any second," I said when I saw Lestor wanting to take a step forward. In this place, it is wise to remain together unless there is no choice; we shouldn't move away from each other.
For nearly a minute, nothing happened before finally, the darkness began to part, revealing the humanoid, which is at least two ters tall and has four hands. It had grey skin and tattered armor around its body; its blades also seed rusted and seed like turned to pieces at any second.
"Zombie!" said Jim, and I nodded as I took steps toward it while it remained frozen in its spot.
The people that ca three tis here had also fought a zombie at the second door before getting their reward at the third door. To get the reward, I will have to kill this zombie, which seems frozen, which is good; if I could finish it before it moves, I will clear this second door.
I want to do it as quickly as possible; there is a very high chance that this zombie would be much stronger than those which have appeared here before, just like the wraths.
ROOOARRR!
There was only about a four ters distance between us when suddenly, it blinked and let out a ghostly roar before it disappeared from its spot.
BANNNG!
I only heard the sound of a blade ripping through the air before one of its rusted scimitars clashed against my sword, which I barely had ti to move in front of in defense.
Step Step Step
I felt like a teor crashed against my sword; the raw physical power behind the attack was so much that it roiled my internal organs and nearly sent flying, but I did not let that happen; I moved that energy into my legs before beginning to take the steps back rapidly.
It was a good thing; I had first boost activated, which had saved ; otherwise, I would send flying like a broken kite, which would have been bad beca Jim and Lestor were no match for this bastard.
First Burst Second Burst Third Burst
In the single step I took, I activated all my boosts, as that is what will require against such a powerful enemy; not only that, four strings of hands also ca out from behind, all four hands wielding the lances. If any attack gets past these lances, it will be a sword that will clash against it.
It had only let take only four steps when it moved toward ; seeing that, I gulped down the blood that ca in my mouth and moved my weapons at it.
Last ti, I made a mistake underestimating it, but this ti, I will not make the sa mistake.
CLANNNG!
Its scimitar clashed against my lance, and once again, that powerful raw physical force ca at along with a tide of necrotic energy, but this ti, it only shook slightly.
ROOOARRR!
It let out another ghostly roar before attacking again, and this ti, it did not use the single scimitar but all four of them. All of them ca at with extremly fast speed and technique which imdiately changed my thoughts about it.
CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG
The scimitars ca at , and their movents felt like a storm, all-encompassing and destructive. The physical forces of the strings are powerful enough to crush the mountain into the dust, while the necrotic energy that cos with it will simply vaporize it.
It is extremly powerful, and that god, I have such amazing defenses against the energy. If there had been soone in my place, they had to focus quite a lot of energy on defending against it; I did not; the defense is automatic, and unless the energy is at a truly threatening level, I did not have to get involved in it.
Hun!
A couple of seconds passed when finally, I noticed sothing and, within a minute, beca completely sure of it. It is improving as I fight against myself; I first did not dare to believe it and thus tested it, changing my fighting style by little and imdiately noticing how it is forming a counter against it.
It imdiately made worried, but I quickly discarded my worry and thought about it rationally. I could not stop reading and improving my moves, but it also could not stop from improving by studying its moves.
So, I have to improve faster than it, and I would.
If I think about it carefully, it is a great opportunity for as well; ever since I started using the mountain cleaving with my weapons, I did not get a chance to test it against a powerful and skillful opponent, and now it is my chance.
Now, not only could I test my moves against the powerful enemy, but also furnish out the flaws in them; this is such a great opportunity, the one I will not miss.
With that thought, I stopped holding back on my moves; I began to use everything I had and even began to use the moves I had planned but never incorporated; it was a great chance to test them and see if they were really worthy of being added.
I have to be careful not to go too overboard as this is not a friendly spar but a battle to the death; a single mistake on my part and those rusted scimitars will cleave into pieces.
