"Our Grandmasters are quite loyal, always sending us the big badges of resources after their missions," said Mary suddenly and showed the graph, and seeing that, I couldn't help but sigh, seeing how we are deceiving them.

"We are not deceiving them, Lord Zaar; we have never promised them a spot in the Grandmaster project; we have only suggested we would if they passed the qualification," she said, looking at expressions. "Not to ntion, we are also providing a treatnt to them now and then, which is being extremly helpful to them," she added.

To that, I couldn't help but nod.

Most of the Grandmasters we have produced through the project have no hope of advancing to High-Grandmaster class; 70% of them wouldn't be able to reach the peak of Grandmaster class in their lifetis unless they co across an opportunity that will fundantally change them.

For the donations, we are in constant with powerhouses, from Kings to High-Grandmasters. We are especially focused on the Grandmasters.

We did not harass them for donations; we just gently nudged them, taking full advantage of the gratefulness they felt toward the project, with a shot of deception that hinted that there was a chance ahead and they could be selected in the next phase of the project.

This is enough to not only get a huge donation from their organization but also from them; we are the reason why we have a sufficient number of high-level resources that last us for months, and each month, the donation from them grows as we produce more and more grandmasters.

The Pyramid knows about it but does not do anything, considering it is taking an imnse load off them. The powerhouses hoard resources, and now, they are sharing so of their hoarded resources.

To maintain the grip over these Grandmasters, I treated each group weekly, providing them small advancents, and keeping them loyal to the project, which in turn gave us more donations. All this is mary's sche, and she developed it like a master that even I am completely impressed by.

"We have received the donation from one of our High-Grandmaster, Lady Prachette; she had co personally to hand the donation, asking to put a good word for her," she said after so ti, which surprised , considering, we had not begun our plan for the High-Grandmasters, we wanted to wait for a little before we begin to nudge them for donations.

She is not the only High-Grandmaster who gave us the donation; three others before gave us. One was the High-Grandmaster the project had helped make a breakthrough, while the other two were already High-Grandmaster, whom I am helping to reach the absolute peak.

Lady Redhorn is one of them; she had reached the absolute peak two weeks, the first one to reach that level with the help of the project and her donation, which is absolutely fucking massive.

"Big, though nothing compared to what Lady Redhorn gave, but still quite impressive," she replied with a beaming smile before giving a list, and a second later, my eyes also lit up. "It is really good," I affird with a smile.

"So, should I start on High-Grandmasters?" Mary asked, to which I shook my head. "We will wait until the decided ti," I said; we could not be to

o greedy and ss up everything.

If we carefully crafted the relationship with the High-Grandmaster, then we would get a constant supply of high-level resources, and our dependency on the Pyramid would reduce further.

With the donations we are receiving, we have already stopped groveling to the organization. I have even stopped attending the donor gala and never sent a core team to attend, which irked the organization at first, but soon they began to grovel at us, and their aid had also increased multifold.

I have a goal to make the project truly independent from the funding of the organization, even from aid from Pyramid itself.

I would not have believed this would have been possible two months ago, but now I truly believe it is very much possible as we are patient and craft our strategy well, and also keep producing the powerhouses; the greater their numbers will reach, the more donation we will get.

Ting!

I continued discussing things with mary for a few minutes, till my holowatch rang with the mail. 'They have arrived,' I said in my mind and got up from my seat.

"You are doing good, mary, and don't forget your practice; don't forget your appointnt with your teacher; she had called earlier and asked to remind you about it," I said, walking toward the formation.

Mary and her assistant shuddered, and even I shuddered; that woman is really scary, and now, I am off to et another scary old woman; even after gaining so much strength, I still couldn't shake up the fear of that old woman.

Buzz!

I disappeared in teleportation formation and appeared in the hall, which is my personal practice space, which now had people.

"Councilwon Marla, Councilman Adams, teacher," I greeted three people in front of . "Headmaster," said both councilman and the people behind them greeted as they bowed, and it was not a short bow, but a deep bow formal bow with head down and hand on the chest.

"Counciln, how many tis have I told you; you have been exempted from bowing," I said to them. "It is an etiquette, Headmaster," said the old won Marla, repeating the sa words she had said so many tis.

I just shook my head and looked at the twenty-two people behind them; they were divided into two groups. The biggest group of twelve are leaders, while the group of eight are Masters, and behind them is a pool and eight-petal shape huge yellow flower, densely carved in the ruines.

That flower is a real flower, a High-Grandmaster class resource, which I am growing in my core.

"All right, everyone, take your places," I said to them.

Teacher had already seed to have instructed them, as the group of leaders quickly sat in the pool while the Masters sat on the petals of a flower. As they did, the strigs string ca out of and piece inside their bodies, without the slightest hint of pain.

Buzz Buzz

"It will be painful; bear it," I said and began the process before turning back councilmbers and teachers while my clone handled the delicate treatnt.

"The scale achieved in such a short period of

ti couldn't but shock such an old man," said councilman Admans with a sigh.

"Everything I have achieved is due to the grace of teacher and academy; if it weren't for it, I wouldn't have been able to achieve my current heights," I replied, and these are not just humble words but the truth. If I had joined any other organization than the academy, I truly wouldn't have been where I am.

Ahhh Ahh Ahhh

"We just helped you a little; everything you have achieved is due to your own efforts," said the teacher, and I was about to reply that when the loud scream broke through before another joined and then another; soon, all the people in the pool begin to scream.
