With Grandmaster Atkins blocking them, I would be able to deal with all of them quite easily. Though, a smart person in my place would just kill them directly instead of even thinking about harvesting them.
I could not just kill them; they are too valuable for that; the essence roses I would get from them would help us humans a lot in the war; not to ntion I have to harvest the bloodline of two Grimms, it would give a trendous boost.

I had no way to defend against it or dodge it and knew I would die unless one of the protective charms inside activated, which is a long shot considering my power. The closer you are to the limit of the world, the more suppression these kinds of artifacts would feel.
I was unwilling to accept death, but I have made my peace with it, and I know it would be over before I even know it.

This old is Mac Saraf; he had been a leader of the Blood Sun about two hundred years ago and also a student of Patriarch Bradford. He had last seen in the previous war, and since then, he had totally disappeared.
From the information I have read about him, there is ntion of his life and death, but most people considered him dead, but it seed like it was not the case.
