"Finally!"
I said as I woke up; with this six-hour sleep, I had finally recovered. All the life essence I had lost had filled up my body and now flowing calmly inside .
It took eight days for to recover, ten if I count the ti I had been unconscious. Now that I had recovered, I could do the things I want and first, in priority, was waking another Grandmaster from the hall of sleep.
A few days ago, I was researching the best thod to use the essence of devouring curse wraiths. I had stumbled upon sothing, and I had imdiately cross-referenced the data I had about the illness of Grandmaster Radcliff.
To my surprise, I was able to find out that is the devouring curse wraith of the peculiar kind that had stuck the Grandmaster.
With the cause of illness visible, Grandmaster Charline and I did not need much ti to devise a cure. It will be quite a delicate affair and would need at my best, and now, I had recovered, it is ti to wake up another Grandmaster from his more than a century-long sleep.
Before I do that, I have to freshen up and eat. I could not properly heal soone with an empty stomach; it would be distracting.
After sending a text to Grandmaster Charline, I went to the bathroom to freshen up and showered before walking into the kitchen. It was quite early, and my father and sister had not woken up yet, though they would be soon.
Forty-five minutes later, I finished the breakfast and ate with Nero and Ashlyn. I had just finished breakfast when my father ca to the kitchen.
I served him breakfast, talked few minutes with him before I went back to my room, and stepped into the teleportation formation. A second later, I appared in front of the hall of sleep, which was a door opened on its own a mont I stepped in front of it.
I walked inside, and soon, I found Grandmaster Charline. She is not alone; there is another Grandmaster who is giving off a similar feeling as mbers of the Pyramid council, which ans she is an extremly powerful Grandmaster.
"Grandmaster Charline," I greeted the old healer before my gaze moved to the middle-aged woman with getting black hair with an illusory aura around her, which makes it quite hard for anyone who is below a Grandmaster class to see her features clearly.
"Grandmaster Stone, thank you for coming in such short notice," I said to middle-aged won. She was at an important place, and when we had asked for her specifically, we had to really assure the council that we really needed her, and without her, it would really be hard to heal Grandmaster Radcliff.
We need her specifically because she is one of the strongest soul specialists we have. She is a pure soul specialist and quite a terror on the battlefield with one of the highest kill records among the Grandmasters who are alive.
"It's no worries, Grandmaster Radcliff will be a great asset in war once he wakes up," She said, and she is right.
From what I had read about Grandmaster Radcliff, he is quite good. He had below-average offensive power but astonishing defensive powers. His inheritance is a defensive type with hundreds of defensive thods in his arsenal.
"Let's not waste any ti then," I said, and hundreds of strings ca out of , and a minute later, a coffin was ford.
The coffin is different than the usual coffin I had been using since I had leveled up. It is not only twice bigger but also has many brackets to it. I had made a few changes in it to adapt for the healing of Grandmaster Radcliff.
As the coffin appeared, Grandmaster Charline began to place the resources inside the bracket. All these resources are Grandmaster level, and they are 95% soul type, making them even more rare and expensive than the resources of the sa grade.
The healing will be dangerous and also quite expensive. If we fail, the council is going to be quite mad. Not only because we will kill a Grandmaster but also because of the resources we would waste.
The resources are extrely rare, and Pyramid would feel a pinch watching them get wasted.
"I assu Grandmaster Charline explained what you have to do, Grandmistar Stone?" I asked middle-aged won. "Yes," She replied.
"Grandmaster," I said to Grandmaster Charline; she nodded and next second. Grandmaster Radcliff floated out of the d-bed. As he left the influence of hall of sleep, his soul affliction acted.
Grandmaster Charline wasted no ti placing him in the coffin but not before biding various parts of his body. My coffin is strong but not strong enough to bear the burnt without suffering any damage.
Buzz!
As Grandmaster Charline placed Grandmaster Radcliff inside, I had sealed the coffin and activated the formations, which imdiately dissolved 5% of resources are to strengthen my coffin; it needs to be strong if it wants to the powerful energy Grandmaster.
It took forty-three seconds for all the resources to dissolve and spread into every part of my coffin, making it ready.
"Grandmaster Stone, you can begin!" I said.
Buzz Buzz Buzz
The woman placed both of her hands in the coffin, and the next second, I felt torrential Grandmaster class energy soul elent filling my coffin, activating one formation after another.
In twelve seconds, she had activated nine formations as she did; hundreds of strings ca out and moved toward Grandmaster Radcliff's body. These strings did not look like my normal strings; they have beco incorporeal.
The affliction of Grandmaster Radcliff is soul type in nature; there is not the slightest harm to his body.
Though I could usually use my regular strings to heal the soul injury, this ti, the injury is too complicated and spread throughout his soul. To heal him, I need my strings incorporeal; the solid strings would simply not work.
