A huge amount of cosmic energy begins pouring into injuries made by the Ghouls, completely destroying the seals Ive made with rule-breaking power. There is no obstruction to this energy; nothing can stop it.
As it entered inside my body, it had directly begun its assault on . It divided itself into two parts; one is to seep every part of my body and start the necrotic process of turning into the Ghoul, while another part is used to fight against any defense my body had.
I could see its clashing against the natural defenses of my body, tearing them down one by one. It is not only tearing down natural defense but artificial ones too, like the essence ive in my stomach.
I had consud a big bottle of essence a second before the homing band light up, so I had the raging amount of herbal essence in my stomach, but now there is barely anything has remained; the cosmic energy had lted it all.
There are two crises I have to deal with, first is the Ghouls that are chasing , and the second is Ghoul I am becoming.
At the rate I am refining energy through my Refining Tower, I am confident that even in my weakened state, I could run away from Ghouls, or at least not let them catch anyti soon.
So, the real problem is for to deal with is the Ghoulification process I am going through, and Ive has to be very quick about it.
A huge amount of energy is coming inside , and at the rate, it is increasing, I have less than five minutes to deal with or lessen its effects before it beca irreversible.
It is extrely hard to survive from the Ghoulification; normally, once you got injured, you will turn into a Ghoul within few minutes, and in the thousands of years, there had less than ten people that had survived from it.
There is a clear record of how they survived, but I couldn’t replicate their thods as these thods were special to their Inheritances and Bloodlines.
Still, all hope is not lost; there is a thod to survive the Ghoulification, and it is very simple. It is to make the body strong enough that Ghoul Poison that is sucking energy through would turn powerless against it, and injury would heal on its own.
Just like how the body deals with poison, curses, and other types of injuries. The thod may simple; it is extrely, extrely hard, and dangerous with how the rate of Cosmic Energy and power increasing at every second.
The Ghoul’s strongest attack lies in their poison, and it is hundreds of tis harder to deal with than the Ghouls Physical attacks.
Now, coming to the technicalities of the solution to this Ghoul Poison, which said that I have to make my body strong enough that it will deal with it as it does with normal injuries.
The problem with that is that I have to make my body extrely strong very quickly; I would have most hour or two if my body continuously grows strong; later than that, the amount of Cosmic Energy would beco too much that my body would not have to deal with it.
There is a clear solution to strengthen my body, and that is consuming the essence and use Cosmic Energy to lt it to forge my body, but the problem, I would need to consu in large amounts or of quality.
Consuming such a resource would instantly make the body of the average King. The resource would get change at cosmic energy before it turns on and makes explode.
But it is the only choice, I have and if I did not take a chance, then in less than five minutes, I would turn into half Ghoul, and that would be irreversible damage from which I could not co back.
It took only a second to think of all scenarios and made my mind, and as I made it, I waste no ti to act on it.
I imdiately take out a thing from my storage, which is a gentle shiny rose petal. A petal of King Grade Astral Rose which I had collected in Miasmic Paradise.
I used one petal of Astral Rose before. I diluted it before I used those diluted drops for my daily practice. Now, instead of using diluted essence, I am going to use the whole thing.
There is quite a high chance that my body would explode the next mont, but I have no choice but to risk it all. If I did not, I would turn into the mindless Ghoul, which I do not wish to beco.
I would rather die by exploding myself than beca a mindless Ghoul.
Making my mind, I placed the soft petal on my tongue. It felt slightly warm and had a taste that I had never tasted before it liquified, and that liquefied petal had turned into a sea of energy as it tore through .
"AHHHHH..."
I scred like I had never scred before, as the seal of energy begins to flow through .
My whole body turned red like coal, and smoke begins to co out of . The sea, like the energy of Rose, begins burning my blood and water that I have in my body; it is happening so fast that I could see my body drying up at a visible pace.
In a few seconds, all the blood and water I have in my body will evaporate, and I will burn like a twig before turning into ash.
Seeing my current condition, the dry muscle on my face couldn’t help but twitch but seeing they have lost nearly the moisture they have, all they could do is twitch up a little.
A few hours ago, I would not have thought I would be in such a condition, but fate is fickle; one mont, I was enjoying the rapid advancent, and another, I am burning up.
