Chapter 1036 - Floating Platforms
Five days passed by, and finally, the day of the Continental Championship has co. The past five days went quite quickly, with my ti filled with family and training.
In the five days, I did not make a breakthrough into anything, but my strength had increased quite much, especially my Combat Style. Daily training with the Professor furnished it to an unbelievable degree.
My combat style is now a much better state than it was ever before, and when I had fought with Elina yesterday, I had defeated her in the record ti of ten minutes, which has never happened before.
It is very difficult to do that in such a short ti since she knows about every move of mine. The shortest ti I took to defeat her was half an hour, so defeating her in the ten minutes was quite an accomplishnt.
"Mom, Dad, I have to go early with the professor, you guys ca after you are ready," I said to my parents. The Continental Championship will start in an hour, but actual fights will start an hour after that.
I’ve already booked the best seats for them where they could watch every fight that is going on in the Arena.
"You go now; we will co in a few minutes." Mom said; I nodded and left the room but not before giving kisses to my little sister, who had a snack bowl in her tiny hands from which she and Ashlyn are eating.
Since my parents have arrived, Ashlyn is nearly inseparable, except for sleeping, they are always together, munching on sothing.
Soon I reached the garden where the professor and Elina were waiting, and we flew toward the Venue of the Championship.
Professor did not teleport us there directly as she usually does but flew toward it, which is quite strange, but I did not ask questions. She must have her reasons doing sothing out of the ordinary.
"Why are you so nervous?" I asked, ever since we started to fly away, she had been acting quite nervous, "We are going to et very powerful people; they always make
a little nervous." Elina replied, seeing how she averted her eyes slightly, I know she is lying.
It has been two weeks since I have known Elina, and in those two weeks, I had learned quite a few things about her, and one of them is that she is a bad liar.
"Liar liar pants on fire." Suddenly professor Josephine said as she turned toward us, "Little Ellie is nervous because she will be eting her little boyfriend whom she hadn’t t in a few months." Professor Josephine teased.
"Aunty!" Elina said loudly with a completely flushed face, seeing that Professor Josephine laughed, and we continued flying toward the venue.
The city is filled with people; one could see people everywhere. Coth city had gathered millions of people for the Championsh.i.p.s, and I heard that the price of the ticket had skyrocketed more than a hundred tis in the black market.
Soon I saw the venue, the awe couldn’t help but fill in my eyes; the arena where competition is being held is really awe-worthy.
It had a fighting space of five hundred ters, and millions of people could watch it from every direction.
I couldn’t help but feel nervous and excited at the sa ti when I imagine myself fighting such a huge arena.
Our destination seems to be a tall red Tower, it is the tallest point in the Arena, and only the most powerful people could sit there. The top of the Tower enveloped an egg size blue forcefield, so one can’t see what is happening inside.
Well, I will see soon enough as we are flying toward that egg style forcefield.
Soon we reached there, and I thought so window would open for us, but no nothing like that had happened. Professor Josephine just directly went inside, and it let her; the sa happened with Elina.
Seeing them going inside smoothly, I stopped hesitating and moved forward, found myself entering through the forcefield without any problem.
When I entered the other side, I couldn’t help but get shocked by what I saw. There was a huge space inside, and there are floating platforms, there are about a hundred floating platforms.
Each floating platform is beautiful, decorated with the most beautiful things, and has powerful staff on the standby.
But one could difference in them when one looked at them; the platform sizes are not similar. A hundred platforms are divided into four dinsions and looking at the plaque on them. The plaque is of four different colors.
These four sizes of platforms referred to four Grades of Organisations they are King, Emperor, Tyrant, and Supre.
Everything seems right except for the place of my organization and grade of it; the platform of my organization is right behind that of the Supre Grade Organisations.
Professor had said our Organisation is Emperor Grade, but here we have received the place and plaque of the Tyrant Grade Organisation. Seeing I will not get the answer thinking myself, I stopped thinking about and flew toward where the professor and Elina are.
Currently, only less than half of the place’s floating platforms are occupied by people, and those who are filled with are all the people from the King and Emperor Grade Organisation.
Except for us who are, there are no platforms occupied by the Tyrant Grade Organisation, and it is the sa for the Supre Grade Organisations.
As I flew toward the Professor, I found hundreds of people looking at , and all these people are extrely powerful that a simple tap from them could turn
into a bloody mist.
It made
feel n.a.k.e.d under the gazes of so many influential people, but there is nothing I could do as they are just looking.
They are not using their sense or any ability which I could sense, and I don’t think they would dare to, especially when the professor is around.
Though these people are strong, they are nothing in front of the professor; I am confident that she could crush all these people without any problem.
