Relying on a hunter’s top-tier bodily control, Darren quickly adapted to the pulling force. Turning his head to the side, he realized that he was being entwined by arcs of electricity released by the Sunblaze Dragon in the sky.
Having never experienced anything like this before, he was only montarily surprised before calming down. After all, there were far too many strange things in this world—using electricity in this manner, when placed on an Elder Dragon, was also perfectly reasonable, wasn’t it?
With a slight nod to indicate his thanks, Darren leaned his body forward, attempting to break free and rejoin the battlefield below.
However, to his surprise, the Sunblaze Dragon did not choose to release him. Instead, after sensing his movent, it further intensified the suction of the electric current, forcibly halting his action.
A gust of wind swept past, and Logan’s massive body appeared beside Darren. As if sensing the other party’s confusion, Logan slightly opened his mouth, signaling for him to look downward.
Darren lowered his head in confusion. In the next instant, exaggeratedly high temperatures directly ignited the entire platform, and even the circulation of bioenergy within the platform’s living systems was hindered to a certain extent under this heat.
He saw a dragon charge that nearly flipped Xeno’jiiva over. Only after Xeno’jiiva temporarily mobilized bioenergy and injected it into its hind limbs did Kulve Taroth barely manage to stop its footing. At this mont, the massive imperial gold battle skirt on Kulve Taroth’s body was lting like water, flowing onto the ground and forming a huge pool of bubbling, molten imperial gold.
The massive battle skirt was not only Kulve Taroth’s armor, but also Its restraint.
Knowing the threat posed by Xeno’jiiva as well, It removed Its own restraints at the very first mont, lting down the "family property" It had accumulated underground over hundreds of years. It dug out that imperial gold that could be called absolute deadweight, allowing Its strength to be completely unleashed!
Fury Mode!
This was Kulve Taroth’s most powerful state. Without the drag of the imperial gold battle skirt on Its body, Its movents were no longer sluggish.
And that ultra-high body temperature that soared to the extre—so high that it could even lt the imperial gold battle skirt, which could soak in magma for long periods without deforming—gave It an enormous innate advantage on both the offensive and defensive ends of close-quarters combat.
Not to ntion the ultra-high-temperature heat wave that could lt even hunters’ weapons and armor!
That was a physically literal absolute high-temperature breath that could even lt the Earth’s crust, with a temperature far surpassing fla itself!
In an instant, the monstrous strength Xeno’jiiva used to resist Kulve Taroth—the forelimbs pressing down on Its shoulders—sizzled loudly, and the glowing organ on Its chest, which was being pinned against by Kulve Taroth’s pair of great horns, rapidly turned charred black under the high heat.
Facing a fully unleashed Kulve Taroth, if Darren charged down, then even with the Cinder Moon Dragon armor set’s high fire resistance ensuring he would not be burned, that kind of heat would still be enough to make it impossible for him—without having consud a Cold Drink—to maintain combat effectiveness for long.
He might even die first to his teammate’s environntal attack before Xeno’jiiva was dealt with.
But to have him just watch like this—or even withdraw—also made him unwilling.
Maintaining the balance of the ecosystem is not sothing that concerns only Elder Dragons!
"Sunblaze Dragon, my lord!"
Darren had only just opened his mouth when he noticed that the Terastal crystal that had originally been stuck on his weapon mount behind him rapidly lted. It quickly spread along the patterns of his armor and covered his entire body. A mysterious energy wrapped around him, and the temperature instantly dropped by a great margin.
Moreover, this Terastal energy did not stop there. It flowed along his arm and continued to spread onto the spine of the greatsword. Before long, the entire blade spine shimred like crystal.
It seed that, after receiving a higher-tier power of the sa origin, the charging of Blazing Wings was completed in an instant, and the entire blade ignited with blue-violet Calamity Fla.
"Roar!!" (You’ve been buffed—go, now!!)
Throwing Darren toward Xeno’jiiva’s back as if tossing a sandbag, Logan looked on with satisfaction at his own "masterpiece."
If it were anyone else, he would not dare do this. After all, pure Terastal energy—even when rely externally applied to armor in the form of an enchantnt—was sothing ordinary hunters simply could not withstand. Once Logan loosened control over that terrifying erosive power, it could even alter life forms themselves.
But Darren not only had a qualified physique; even his armor and weapon were highly compatible. Added to that was his genuine strength. At a ti like this, one more source of power naturally ant one more asure of assurance.
With Terastal energy forming an insulating layer on the outside of his armor, as long as Darren did not jump directly onto Kulve Taroth or take the opponent’s ultra-high-temperature heat wave head-on, he would basically not be affected by even slight high temperatures.
Whether it was Kulve Taroth or Logan himself, during the battle there was no longer any need to worry too much about accidentally injuring this ultra-small-sized "friendly unit."
Seeing that Xeno’jiiva had Kulve Taroth engaged in close-quarters combat in front of It, while Darren was on Its back using the Clutch Claw to constantly move about and carry out destructive actions, Logan mobilized Terastal energy and was just about to join in when a small black dot stealthily poked its head out from a massive Bioenergy Crystal block.
When it discovered that this never-before-seen "ultimate feast," Xeno’jiiva, was currently in a suppressed state—and even appeared barely capable of fighting back—the entire dragon’s eyes lit up.
Drooling, without the slightest hesitation, it let out a loud roar, sprinted wildly, and dove straight toward the battlefield.
Boom!!
Relying on its manipulation of ley-line energy in a critical state, Xeno’jiiva endured the pain of its forelimbs being scorched and forced Kulve Taroth back. After executing a wide spin and throwing Darren off its back, before it could even catch its breath, it was hooked by the diving Ruiner Nergigante around the neck and slamd viciously into the ground.
Before its mind could even process what had happened, enormous fists bristling with adamantine spikes slamd down again and again onto Its forehead.
Following closely was Ruiner Nergigante’s impatient and incomparably greedy, excited dragon roar.
Ruiner Nergigante’s damage was indeed substantial—especially when striking a location like the head—which truly left Xeno’jiiva’s brain in complete disarray.
But when Ruiner Nergigante’s gaping maw bit clean through Xeno’jiiva’s neck, it discovered that the bastard was actually fine!
There was no bloody stench, nor was there the wheezing sound that should have co from a crushed windpipe.
Having never encountered such a situation before, Ruiner Nergigante instinctively increased its bite force.
At that mont, the tail tip carrying vast bioenergy lashed directly onto Ruiner Nergigante’s back—large swaths of adamantine spikes exploded as it was sent flying outright.
After tumbling several tis across the ground, Ruiner Nergigante steadied itself and looked up, only to see Xeno’jiiva lift its neck—now bearing an obvious hole—while massive energy gathered in its mouth, firing a breath attack straight at it.
"Roar?"
Surprised as it was, Ruiner Nergigante reacted quickly. Relying on its powerful musculature, it used its wings to accelerate into a sideways roll, executing a precise evasive flip.
Xeno’jiiva attempted to continue the pursuit, but Logan’s attack descended from above, tearing open yet another massive wound on its back that had just healed.
At the sa ti, using rapid movent enabled by the Clutch Claw, Darren avoided Kulve Taroth’s movent path, found a suitable point of attack, and charged in once more.
And the repelled Kulve Taroth, at this mont, also unleashed a blast of ultra-high-temperature heat wave.
Still adapting to its own energy, Xeno’jiiva could only instinctively resort to the most primitive thod of energy cancellation, hurriedly dealing with this attack coming from all sides!!
