Logan's round of "discipline" left Little Loren no small amount of injury; that sequence of moves that even made the Admiral exclaim "Too ruthless" made it so that Little Loren had trouble even climbing out of the big pit.
In the end, it was only when Bunbun was wearing a QAQ expression that Logan finally stopped, letting out a low growl as he looked at Little Loren in the big pit.
"Don't let there be a next ti~"
Even though he was his son, sothing like this would only happen once; if there were a next ti, even if Little Loren died outside, he would not do anything more, just like Mother Chaleos back then—after diating once for her eldest son who had made a mistake, she no longer paid him any attention, even though the two of them clearly both lived in the Ancient Forest.
Bunbun, eyes brimming with tears, wanted to prepare dicine once more to treat Little Loren, but after Logan split off so energy-rich Radiant Crystal Butterflies and gave them to Little Loren, Bunbun's actions were thus stopped.
This lesson was sothing Little Loren, as the Ancient Tree Fire Wyvern, had to endure, and the pain within it was sothing he also had to rember, so Logan only allowed him to recover on his own by relying on his own capacity to recover, rather than letting Bunbun go and lessen his pain for him.
Bunbun stared with big, teary eyes, pouting as he tried to soften Logan's heart, but when a dull sound ca from Aki's nose, the fur all over his body was so frightened it stood on end, and he shot under Little Loren's wing in a flash, leaving only a cat head in an explorer's hat sticking out.
His pair of small ears trembled and trembled, clearly badly frightened.
Once the matter was settled, Logan returned to Aki's side and slowly crouched down, and began asking the Admiral about Nakarkos.
He had an idea, or rather a certain test he wanted to try using Nakarkos for, so he had to have a thorough understanding of Nakarkos's current combat strength.
When he learned that the Admiral had not yet found the Dragon Graveyard, Logan was sowhat disappointed, but upon learning that among the two tentacles that had attacked them, one of them was actually the skeleton of a Royal Ludroth, this also indirectly showed that Nakarkos's current state was not optimistic; at the very least, if it had a choice, Nakarkos, as a Disaster-level Elder Dragon, would definitely be using the bones of monsters with a high ecological niche as its standard weapons.
After the Radiant Crystal Butterflies flew out and helped Aki quickly replenish the energy she had spent, and after he exchanged a few words with the Admiral, he and Aki quickly took to the sky, following the waterways of this lake as they began searching for the existence of the Dragon Graveyard.
However, perhaps because Nakarkos's Dragon Graveyard was still small and its location well concealed, and because there were many waterways near the jungle swamp and the terrain was extrely chaotic, even after searching for two days in a row, they still were unable to find the basin ntioned in the hunter squad's report.
However, fortunately, the Admiral had not been idle either; relying on the Scoutflies to track that blue mucus and, after moving through multiple areas, he finally crossed a cliff that was heavily shrouded by trees and found the inland sea basin ford from piled-up bones.
A signal flare shot up into the sky.
In less than ten minutes, amid a gust of wind, Logan and Aki's figures pierced through the clouds at the horizon and dove quickly in this direction.
Only when the scene below was fully magnified did Logan understand why he and Aki had co up empty after searching for two days.
The cliff beside the basin blocked most of the line of sight coming from the jungle swamp, and the faint mist combined with the winding plants around the basin also made for perfect cover for Flying Wyverns flying at high altitude, and this was the reason Logan had failed to notice this place when he flew past from the cliff side.
Descending cautiously from the cliff side and alighting steadily on a huge tree branch, Logan flapped his wings to blow away part of the mist, allowing this Dragon Graveyard to appear more clearly before his eyes.
It was very similar to the sea of bones in his mory that was ford from all kinds of piled-up bones, except that this sea of bones rested against the basin's shoreline, half on land and half in the ocean, rising and falling with the waves.
Between every bone and bone there was so mucus binding them together, and only this kept this sea of bones from being carried away by the seawater.
"The aura of scorched flas and lingering lightning—judging from the looks of it, Lunastra and Kirin have been paying no few visits to this place lately."
After Logan and Aki arrived, the Admiral also relaxed a lot; over these two days, after receiving Logan's instruction, Little Loren seed to have grown a bit more and had not caused him any more trouble or dragged him down, which also gave the Admiral more ti, aside from tracking and hurrying along, to rest and recover his own condition.
Therefore, with the Admiral in peak condition, once the mist had been blown away he directly jumped onto the sea of bones, pulled out his hunter's knife and knocked here and poked there, making judgnts based on the traces remaining on these bones.
Logan dropped down from the tree branch, and the mont he landed, his massive weight snapped the bones beneath his feet.
He released Radiant Crystal Butterflies to go deeper into the parts of the Dragon Graveyard that were still shrouded in mist to scout and keep watch, then lifted a foreclaw and grabbed a handful of bones to examine them.
Suddenly, with a squeeze of force, that handful of bones was easily crushed to powder.
"So it really is like this!"
Although these bones still retained an almost intact appearance, in reality they had long since been affected by the aftermath of Lunastra or Kirin's battles, which had cleared away the portion of energy within them that had been strengthened by Nakarkos's mucus, causing them to beco extrely fragile.
It was just that he did not know how many bones like this there were in this Dragon Graveyard.
If more than half of the bones in the Dragon Graveyard had beco like this and were only present as a "base layer" after being reprocessed by Nakarkos, then this Dragon Graveyard would be nothing but an empty shell.
And Nakarkos's strength, so long as it did not reveal its true body, would probably not even match that of an ordinary Elder Dragon.
Suddenly, within Logan's perceptions, a cluster of Radiant Crystal Butterflies instantly lost their presence.
"Roar!"
Letting out a roar toward that direction, blue-violet flas ignited on his wings, and with a sudden flap, a sea of fire surged out from Logan's wings as its source, pouncing toward a certain direction within the mist.
[Zzzt, zzzt!]
Violent sounds of electric current rang out as cyan lightning and flas tangled together, and bursts of explosions crackled continuously like oversized strings of firecrackers.
The mist was also blasted apart by the explosions generated from the collision of these two energies.
Without another word, Aki shot straight up into the sky, entering Calamity Fla state in an instant, and dove unhesitatingly toward where Nakarkos was.
Logan, standing on the sea of bones underfoot, took a deep breath; the scales around his throat quickly turned crimson under the high temperature, and in less than a second, an exceptionally wide fan-shaped fla, billowing with thick smoke, lifted away the fragile bones on the surface and, with a rumbling roar, tore through the mist and engulfed an entire stretch of beach.
The Admiral promptly tossed out the rope on his arm, quickly disengaged from the battlefield, and returned to the forest side, clearing the battlefield for Logan and Aki.
From within the flas, Nakarkos's true body burst out of the sea of bones, and wrapped in a mass of blue liquid, two lifelike tentacles let out roars at Logan and Aki!
