Several days after Logan had been stopped by Aki from entering the depths of the nest, probably because the dragon egg's condition had by then completely stabilized, he was finally allowed to return to the den.
However, perhaps all dragons are greedy. After Logan returned to the den, when he rested with an egg between him and Aki, he just felt all kinds of discomfort.

There was no helping it. This scene was a problem that could not be avoided after the Fire Wyvern clan of the Ancient Tree had undergone its transformation.
In the lower levels of the Ancient Tree, those newly moved-in Fire Wyverns did not have this kind of worry. However, perhaps because of Logan's order, although the Ancient Tree Fire Wyvern group no longer intercepted these young Fire Wyverns from moving into the Ancient Tree, this layered order also caused an enormous estrangent between the two sides.

Therefore they imdiately blew wyvern-calling horn, and very soon Fire Wyverns from Ancient Tree Fire Wyvern group flew over.
But right at this ti, perhaps because different abundant energy on Ancient Tree Fire Wyvern attracted things in gaps of this Rathian's scales, one after another 'butterflies' emitting scarlet light flew out from Rathian's scales like this.
Tens of them gathered into one cluster, quickly flying toward Ancient Tree Fire Wyvern.

This Ancient Tree Fire Wyvern let out one low roar, gave wings one flap, and quickly avoided approach of this group of "butterflies". It instinctively sensed sothing wrong, continuously flapping wings to disturb air currents, then spitting flas, trying to wipe out this group of "butterflies".
Only these unknown butterflies were indeed special, fluttering in Ancient Tree Fire Wyvern's constantly strengthening flas, and only after quite long while could one or two be killed.
Such commotion naturally could not be hidden from Logan, who patrolled territory on Ancient Tree every day.

Accompanied by clear dragon roar, Logan's two wings rapidly swung, and one fiery red silver scale swiftly sliced past side of Ancient Tree Fire Wyvern like flying knife.
Like dense rain, they cut open those butterflies.
But in the next second, these butterflies that had been massively killed by Logan actually turned around like a pack of jackals that had slled blood, completely fearless of death, and group after group actively flew toward Logan.
Logan was extrely familiar with this thing.
This was sothing even more troubleso than Shagaru Magala's Frenzy Virus.
Its na was: Qurio!
The harmfulness of this thing was actually smaller than Frenzy Virus; after all, its spread thod and its disaster level were much milder than the Frenzy Virus, which basically guaranteed death after infection.
This thing could allow host to still retain rationality before death, and also stimulate potential, enhancing host’s strength.
It could be said that before Qurio absorbed enough essence and energy from host’s body, it and host were one kind of symbiotic relationship.
