Inside the imprinted domain of Severance, an ancient clockwork materialized with an eerie hum, reversing the ticking hand of ti. The world dimd into shaded darkness.

Destruction and creation amalgamate upon one another through fractured monts. Space warped into itself while ti turned back.

Such was the Microcosm: Severance.

Damien watched with widened eyes as the decimated encampnts returned to their untouched states, while those who lost their lives in battle returned to existence.

It was a horrible power, yet beauty pervaded from it.

The reawakened soldiers of the Shadow Division found themselves utterly confused as they saw the floating chunks of the valley return to their forr places.

But the platoon of recently revived Jaegers understood the circumstance they were trapped in. What enveloped them was an imprinted domain.

Judging from the crimson barrier that divided the domain and reality, it was a Blood Technique originating from the lone vampire that defeated them.

The captain wryly smiled at the sight, realizing that they never had an upper hand against the crimson-haired vampire of Block 7.

"What should we do, captain?" One of the Jaegers questioned, flexing their fingers while staring at the leader of their platoon.

"There’s only one thing that we can do. Fight!" The captain smirked at his subordinates, who also grinned. It was an opportunity for them to strike back. Perhaps the only one.

"Are you okay, Hecate?" On the other hand, Damien stood beside his partner and patted her crimson hair. "You look exhausted."

"Downside of activating a microcosm." She wryly smiled and added. "It needs a minute to complete. Until then... We will have to hold off against all of them."

"I already ensured that those targeted by Severance will only be our adversaries. So, there’s no need to worry about it."

"The only problem is whether we can last a minute against all of them." Hecate looked at the thousands of soldiers below alongside the revived Jaegers. It would be a troubleso battle.

"Let handle it." Damien smiled and closed his eyelids. It was ti to summon the remainder of his monster army.

Several golden orbs of light glimred above the darkening heavens, descending like teors and crashing onto the surface below the black skies.

One after another, his monsters erged once again. Behemoth roared in exhilaration while Orochi hissed in anticipation. The two giant monsters pinned the Avatar, suppressing its arms.

For the second ti, the soldiers of the Shadow Division were fighting against the monster army. Cries and screams echoed as the flas of war perated once again.

The ancient clock hovered and continued reversing its hand. Sooner or later, victory would be theirs to keep. Or so one would have thought.

Avatar’s radiating silver eyes flickered as gravity pushed down, crushing everyone and everything. The gargantuan aberration could sense its doom.

A cornered beast was far dangerous than monsters.

The soldiers and monsters battling one another beca bloodied paste. Behemoth and Orochi barely resisted the oppression as the ground beneath them cracked.

An eerie silence perated throughout the imprinted domain.

The golden radiance of Majesty flared up, enveloping Damien and Hecate. Its light could barely shield them from the intense gravity suppression. Even then, they could hardly move a muscle.

"Damn..." he remarked while gritting his teeth. The Avatar wasn’t just crushing everything around it. It was also pulverizing itself. But harm fared better than complete decimation.

"Hecate," Damien looked at his partner, whose eyes turned bloodshot. Crimson dripped from her lips as her mind ached from exhaustion and pain.

He realized that keeping up the Microcosm wasn’t only exhausting her but also damaging her body. If this continued, whatever happens to her would be permanent.

Taking a deep breath, Damien turned his gaze towards the pinned Avatar and looked back at his partner. The evolution of Eclipse was almost done. There was no need to take risks.

"I’m sorry, Hecate..." The crimson-haired vampire opened her bloodied eyes, sowhat confused. Out of nowhere, she felt a pang of pain behind her neck.

She collapsed onto the ground, unconscious. The Microcosm enveloping the entire area faded as the warm light of the golden sun pierced through the trail of shaded clouds.

The gravity suppression faded as calm returned to the broken landscape that marked the Valley of Forsaken.

In the distance, the army of giant wolves watched as Damien carried Hecate and teleported away from the head of the Avatar.

The Lycanthropes were astounded, but cald down. All of the Lycans noticed the injured crimson-haired vampire whose spirit steadily waned.

"I need you to take care of her while I handle that." He glanced at the Avatar, who was beginning to overpower Behemoth and Orochi.

"Did she use a Microcosm?" The Chieftain of the Lycanthrope questioned, earning a nod from the black-suited young man.

"A risk it truly was." The old Lycan remarked and added. "The only way to counter a Microcosm is another Microcosm."

Damien raised his eyebrows, finding the idea dumbfounding. He couldn’t help but ask. "You an that what the Avatar did was a Microcosm?"

"If it were a Microcosm, the two of you wouldn’t be alive." The Chieftain shook his head and continued. "It was more of a prototype as it didn’t completely overpower the vampire’s domain."

"I see..." Damien glanced at the Avatar and muttered. "If it was capable of unleashing that. It shouldn’t be long until it’s capable of using a Microcosm."

Once it gained a Microcosm of its own. Only the strongest of Jaegers could think of fighting against it. The Paragons.

"Be careful." The black-suited young man looked at the army of wolves before activating Fractured Blink. He teleported in front of the Avatar, standing amidst the flattened encampnt.

Puddles of blood surrounded him alongside mushed corpses of the soldiers belonging to the Shadow Division and the monsters under his command.

The gravity oppression was ruthless, targeting every living creature that was near the Avatar.

"It looks angry." Damien wryly smiled, noticing the piercing gaze of Avatar pointed at him. Even when pinned by Behemoth and Orochi, its glowing eyes radiated arrogance and wrath.

A muted chi echoed inside his mind, prompting his lips to curve wider. The evolution of his first Monster was finally completed.

Congratulations, Three-Star Evolution successful!

You have been granted Three-Star EX Monster: Eclipse(Idol)

"Took you long enough," he mumbled to himself.

Three-Star Terrestrial Monsters such as Behemoth and Orochi were already pinning down the Avatar. What could a three-star Extraterrestrial Monster do against this gargantuan aberration?

First Special Extraterrestrial Monster has reached three stars!

Elental Fusion activated!

Fusing compatible elents to Lord Oberon...

The notifications continued after the evolution ended, bombarding him with vital information. Out of nowhere, he felt his head ache, as though it was splitting apart.

His blood boiled, and his muscles were torn apart. Bones were pulverized, causing him to collapse on the bloodied ground.

The system had never done anything without informing him beforehand. It was the first ti, and it didn’t feel good at all.

"T-this isn’t the ti for this!" Damien gritted his teeth, barely keeping himself from blacking out. Pain was never his forte, and the northern fringes seed to keep sending him towards it.

Behemoth and Orochi kept pinning the Avatar, realizing that their master was temporarily out of commission.

Gryphos circled around the gargantuan aberration, striking the abomination’s glowing eyes when given the chance.

It would temporarily blind the Avatar, though the regeneration of the aberration wasn’t to be underestimated. It only took seconds for its eyes to return.

The Griffin noticed its master in pain and flew towards him. It landed with a heavy thud, making a piercing cry while nudging its master with its feathered head.

Black liquid oozed from the pores of his skin as though whatever impurities had been left behind after becoming an Aberrant were purged.

Damien exhaustedly opened his eyelids and saw his status display emitting a bluish hue. It pulsated before him as he saw his Command Seals rise beyond its limit.

His mind was broken from its gaze as he stood up hurriedly, touching his body with a tinge of anxiousness. It felt like his body was tearing itself apart.

He half expected himself to be barely a man after waking up. Fortunately, nothing seed to change other than the fact that his clothing felt sowhat tight.

In any case, his focused eyes turned towards the status display.
