Nan Pu Bodhisattva, Chanyu Bodhisattva, Guangzhi Bodhisattva, Green Dragon Bodhisattva.
The Four Great Bodhisattvas led the assembly of monks in reverence.
A Bodhisattva, standing astride an Azure Dragon and adorned with Green Snakes hanging from both ears, approached to offer congratulations.
"Congratulations on Buddha's Divine Skills becoming perfected."
"Congratulations on Buddha's Divine Skills becoming perfected!"
In that instant, the entire Western Pure Land resounded with praises of the Buddha's na.
"Rise!"
Lingwei Buddha Ancestor was elated.
After absorbing Ding Guang's Golden Lotus, although Lingwei had not ascended realms, he nevertheless perfected his Great Dao, becoming a true Buddha.
Among the Buddhas of the Seven Realms, Lingwei was the first to reach perfection—besides the Great Sun World Venerable.
This ant that his power now ranked second only to the Great Sun World Venerable.
Additionally, with a Small Thousand World awaiting his dominion, Lingwei's influence alone was undeniably the strongest force in the Seven Realms.
Soday, he might even match the Great Sun World Venerable as an equal.
This was Lingwei's ambition.
Now, with his Great Dao on the brink of fulfillnt, it was hard for him to suppress his joy.
"Heavenly Pure Land, along with the esteed monks and great sages of the lower Color Realm, will shortly gather to hear the Buddhist teachings. We humbly request Buddha to ascend the treasure lotus and expound the Dharma for us disciples."
Green Dragon Bodhisattva, known as the Great Steward of the Buddha Realm, swiftly organized the celebratory arrangents.
"Excellent."
Lingwei Buddha Ancestor was delighted in his heart.
Having achieved mastery in Divine Skills, it was indeed ti to announce his accomplishnt to the world to bolster his prestige.
An hour later, an infinite myriad of golden dharma images of divine Buddhas appeared across the skies above this golden realm.
Below, there were monks from the Mortal World, along with Heavenly Humans and others.
Everywhere, it was teeming with people—all the elites of Lingwei Buddha Realm had gathered here, their gazes fervent as they chanted the Buddha's na.
The hearts of Heavenly Humans emanated harmonious Sanskrit songs, and nurous vibrations of these sacred chants created dazzling rays of light across this realm. Golden lotuses shimred into being within this center of the Buddhas, at the heart of which stood an ancient, verdant, lush tree.
Beneath the ancient tree was a lotus platform.
The lotus platform was pure gold and inscribed with mysterious Dao marks. Lingwei Buddha Ancestor revealed his True Body—a towering man, robust and broad-shouldered, his skin a bronzed hue. He resembled a warrior more than a Buddha.
Indeed, before Lingwei Buddha Ancestor renounced worldly life, he had been a warrior and the Great General of the nation, wielding imnse authority, until his forr master converted him to ascend the mountain and embrace cultivation.
On the lotus flower that blood from Lingwei Buddha Ancestor's tongue, he began expounding the Dharma—the teachings found within Song Lin's *Pure World Golden Lotus Scripture*.
After Song Lin's death, the philosophy within the scripture naturally beca Lingwei's possession, though outwardly declared to be originally stolen by Song Lin.
Compared to a genius who had passed away, people were far more inclined to believe in a living Buddha.
Lingwei spoke eloquently, his words captivating, as taphorical heavens rained flowers in their delight. Many great monks achieved sudden enlightennt from his teachings—which were, in fact, Song Lin's Magic Skill.
Lingwei had learned too much from Song Lin. As a Buddha of combat, Lingwei had been inherently less adept at the Buddhist Law, but now that weakness had been thoroughly redied.
The great assembly of Buddhist discourse lasted for three days and nights.
The countless Buddhas listened with utter fascination, unable to pull themselves away. The sheer inspiration filled their spirits to the brim, as if an imperceptible door within their minds had been opened. Yet, at the sa ti, it felt like a resounding blow, waking their thoughts with startling clarity.
"Do you all understand?" Lingwei, seated upon the Golden Lotus, revealed signs of fatigue after three days of discourse.
Buddhas' discussions were not rely spoken with the mouth.
They required the utilization of Divine Thought and mana to manifest the Great Dao—truly an act of exertion.
"Buddha, I, a humble monk, have a question."
At this mont, Green Dragon Bodhisattva stood up.
"Speak."
"If there is soone whose eyes are blind, ears deaf, mouth mute, and nose barren—this person is deceived. Should their senses one day recover, discovering the truth, what might they do?"
Lingwei's brows furrowed; he found this person's question curious, yet he replied earnestly: "Naturally, their heart would burn with rage, and they would wish for vengeance."
"Precisely!"
As Green Dragon Bodhisattva's words fell, one-third of the Bodhisattva Arhats rose to their feet.
Just as Lingwei felt bewildered, all the Heavenly Humans suddenly stood as well.
"This is…"
Lingwei witnessed a startling sight.
The Heavenly Humans regained all five senses; their eyes cleared, and their gazes turned toward Lingwei with expressions of seething hatred.
The Heavenly Humans had once been fervent believers in the Buddhas, ascending to the Western Pure Land after death.
Yet here they discovered a land where their eyes were blinded, ears deafened—not only that, but even their desires and emotions were sealed away, reducing them to puppets who knew nothing but chanting and prayer.
Was this truly freedom from suffering?
Fanatics often lean toward extres and easily shift from one stark pole to another.
Once they had blindly worshipped; now their hatred burned with equal extremity.
"Green Dragon! What is the aning of this?"
Lingwei felt both astonished and infuriated.
At that mont, the aning behind Green Dragon's earlier words dawned on him—weren't they a direct mockery of his deceit?
Green Dragon ignored Lingwei and instead directed his gaze toward Lingwei's lotus throne, joining the assembly to perform a grand obeisance.
"Welco Wutian Buddha Ancestor to his rightful place!"
"Welco Wutian Buddha Ancestor to his rightful place!"
"Impossible!"
Lingwei Buddha Ancestor's heart scread disaster, but before he could respond, it was already too late.
Whoosh!
Black mist surged from beneath the Golden Lotus. Like maggots burrowing into bone, the mist clung to Lingwei's Golden Body.
"Ahhh!!"
Lingwei Buddha Ancestor's expression twisted in agony as he couldn't suppress his wails to the heavens.
The black mist resembled innurable knives, relentlessly rending his flesh.
To the onlookers, Lingwei seed to be splitting into two entities.
One retained Lingwei's original appearance, while the other erged as a youthful figure with flowing black hair, clad in dark robes, emanating an elegant yet sinister aura.
"Ding Guang? When did you…"
The Golden Lotus had turned into a Black Lotus, rendering Lingwei immobile. His heart trembled with unfathomable dread, realizing that this figure had been hidden right beneath his throne all along—and he had failed to notice.
Lingwei's voice cut off abruptly. Within the next mont, the dharma body morphed into Song Lin's form.
Song Lin smirked wickedly and remarked, "Isn't it natural you failed to perceive it? After all, we are one and the sa."
Song Lin did not send his True Body here.
Instead, he relied solely on the Black Lotus. After all, deploying his forces en masse would attract the attention of this realm's Middle Thousand Heavenly Court.
If they were to beco entangled by the opposing forces, even escape would be impossible.
With the cunning capabilities of the Great Sun World Venerable, an invasion of Donghua World was hardly far-fetched if matters escalated beyond control.
Hence, Song Lin's strategy was possession.
Since Lingwei usurped his Relic Dao Fruit, why not repay like for like?
The dharma image atop the Black Lotus constantly shifted.
"Now! Kill him quickly!"
Lingwei roared in desperation.
"Haha, attack!"
In an instant, Green Dragon Bodhisattva manifested the Green Dragon Demon Form, leading his assembly of monks into counteroffensive action.
Chaos erupted across the battlefield.
Green Dragon's side boasted nurical superiority, but many Heavenly Humans served as fodder, allowing the opposition to quickly balance the advantage.
Nan Pu Bodhisattva closed in on the Black Lotus. At this point, Lingwei and Song Lin were locked in a stalemate—whoever broke the other's dharma image first would absorb the opposing spirit entirely.
This was the ultimate gamble—both Lingwei and Song Lin had bet everything on this outco.
Should Lingwei triumph, Song Lin's Black Lotus would be no more; conversely, Lingwei would fall utterly empty-handed.
Nearing a distance of ten paces, Nan Pu felt Song Lin's relentless glare bore into him.
The overwhelming wave of demonic intent almost shattered Nan Pu's Spirit, forcing him to hurriedly stabilize his resolve.
"What are you hesitating for? Advance imdiately!"
Lingwei barked angrily, snapping Nan Pu out of his stupor—but the mont was already lost.
Boom!
Thunder shattered the boundary of the Pure Land, illuminating the earth with violet light.
"I have arrived!"
The arrival was none other than Guu Yuchan, along with millions of cultivators.
After decades of preparation, the master stroke had at last surfaced.
Lingwei looked upon this scene and knew utterly that his resolve had collapsed.
He had never anticipated such unity and strength among these protectors under Song Lin's rallying cry.
At this mont, Song Lin's faction unleashed an overwhelming advantage over the battlefield.
Total rebellion! Total chaos!
