The Third Master of the Green Lion Clan, the last Harmonization-level leader among the Demon Clan, led a group of Demon Lords and Great Saints, shirtless with brambles on his back, kneeling before Chiyou.

"This humble demon, Qing Jie, greets the Upper Immortal. My sins are grave, and I have paid the price. I beseech the Upper Immortal for rcy beyond the confines of law."

Imdiately afterward, the Demon Clan escorted the Human Clan residents from the demon lands onto the scene.

Most of these humans appeared vacant-eyed, clad in tattered clothes, exuding a timid and submissive deanor.

Seeing the demons bringing them forward, they thought they were about to beco food, and each stood frozen, trembling with fear.

Spirit Treasure Celestial Master stepped forward and said, "Everyone, do not worry. All is well now."

Only by traveling overseas and witnessing the plight of the Human Clan firsthand did they truly empathize.

If the demons rely consud humans, it might be less painful, but the true tornt ca from the additional suffering inflicted.

For instance, when demons invaded a human household, not only did soone have to be eaten, but humans were often forced to prepare themselves as a dish—a thod of killing that tore at the spirit as much as the body.

Though the world operates on the principle of the weak being preyed upon by the strong, such thods of tornt were beyond comprehension.

Chiyou scrutinized the noble demons.

Most of them had fully developed humanoid forms; apart from their hairstyles and eye colors, they were very similar to humans.

These demons possessed emotions and manners almost indistinguishable from humans, at least among the upper echelons.

"Are the ones behind you all your descendants?"

Chiyou asked.

"Yes, two sons, two daughters, six grandchildren."

Curious, Chiyou asked further, "I have a question: Do demons care for their offspring?"

Though Qing Jie, the Harmonization-level Green Lion, did not comprehend the questioning, he responded truthfully, "The sa as any being, my lord. All living creatures possess an instinct to care for their young."

"Alright then. Pick one son, one daughter, and one grandchild; I am feeling a bit hungry," Chiyou said matter-of-factly.

"This..."

Qing Jie’s face turned pale and flushed alternately, anger flaring in his heart, yet he dared not express it. The Great Saints and Demon Lords behind him held their tongues, each desperately hoping to avoid attracting Chiyou’s attention.

After a long deliberation and faced with Chiyou’s piercing gaze, Qing Jie turned to his descendants, his heart torn at their desperate expressions.

"Qian’er, Ke’er, Xuan’er, I am sorry."

Two n and one woman were singled out, trembling with fear, unable to speak.

Tap, tap, tap...

Chiyou slowly walked toward the three, and the atmosphere grew heavier and more oppressive.

Chiyou teased, "These three must be the ones you care least about, ha ha."

The three descendants stared at Qing Jie, their eyes conveying one question: Why ?

Feeling guilty, Qing Jie turned his head away, unable to et their gaze.

He knew these three would undoubtedly hate him.

Let their hatred be directed at him, Qing Jie thought, hatred for the demons’ weakness and the sacrifices necessary for the survival of their kind.

Humans have an old saying: A gentleman’s revenge can wait ten years.

If the opportunity arises in the future, let humanity’s leaders taste such agony as well.

Chiyou, however, bypassed the three selected descendants and approached the others. With a single punch, he turned them into a mist of blood, which he then inhaled deeply, absorbing the resulting essence.

"No!!! You..." Qing Jie’s eyes widened in disbelief at Chiyou’s unexpected move.

The remaining three descendants showed expressions of relief and schadenfreude.

"You are the demon! You are the Demon King!! Ah! Why!"

The discord Chiyou had sown among the family ensured that the three survivors would hate Qing Jie indefinitely. Qing Jie’s heart writhed in agony, his tense muscles and red eyes lashing out toward Chiyou as though he could set him ablaze with his gaze alone.

In this perilous mont, he thought of nothing else but the desire to kill this cruel monster.

"Oho, what are you thinking?" Chiyou asked mockingly, his face full of mischief. "Still want to fight? Fine, I permit you to step back a little."

Like a bucket of cold water poured over him, Qing Jie instantly regained his rationality.

Seeing the desperate gazes of the other Great Saints pleading for caution, Qing Jie clenched his teeth harshly and knelt once again. "I dare not, this humble demon submits."

Bide ti, endure, endure, endure!

"Tch, boring."

With the remaining demons subdued, the group finally withdrew their forces.

Thus, vast overseas territories were largely reclaid by the Human Clan.

anwhile, Chiyou received Song Lin’s directive: all the surrendered demons were to be relocated to coastal strongholds.

The Kunlun Ancestral Court had already absorbed the terrain near the coast, leaving little room for the demons to stir up trouble, making them easier to control. Over ti, they would gradually annex further regions like the mid-sea and distant waters.

Chiyou’s recent actions were also aid at fracturing the Demon Clan’s unity. As the overseas primary clan, the Green Lions could not be allowed to grow stronger. So, each individual was assigned to lead separate branches, preventing them from forming a cohesive alliance.

The sa principle was applied to other demon clans.

Divisions would be created, segnting them even further.

Sea dragons were split into White Sea Dragons and Black Sea Dragons; if further divisions were impossible, then geographical distinctions such as East Clan and West Clan were drawn.

The Human Clan within the demon lands, witnessing Qing Jie’s defeat and his dogged resignation, found renewed morale.

With less than six months remaining until the summit, the group successfully accomplished their missions and prepared to return.

At the peak of Kunlun, Jianxin had thoroughly resolved the internal strife and was scheduled to formally et Song Lin today.

Accompanying him were mbers of Jiuxiao, Miao Fa, Nine Heavens Jade Tower, Black Heaven Law Realm, and the Witch God Heavenly King factions.

These magic veins had not been completely annihilated.

Several Taoist Alliances still had dissidents unwilling to surrender to the demons, perhaps only numbering in the thousands, but their survival added up.

Initially suppressed, expelled, or even exiled for refusing to surrender to the demons, they unexpectedly found themselves in advantageous positions after all.

Upon deliberation, the group resolved to wholly pledge allegiance to the Donghua Taoist Alliance.

A contingent of over five thousand people arrived at the foot of Kunlun Mountain, marveling at the towering peak stretching thousands of miles high, surrounded by similarly majestic mountain pillars supporting the heavens.

"Is this truly a Taoist Alliance stronghold? Or could it be the Heavenly Court of legend?"

The group exclaid in awe.

The grandeur of this place vastly exceeded their imagination.

It was almost unbelievable that such an unparalleled achievent was a creation of the Human Clan.

They gazed at the colossal Divine Turtles guarding the Heavenly Gate.

Each was a thousand feet tall, resembling towering mountains.

Three types were present: Mountain Turtles, Marsh Turtles, and Fire Turtles.

The Shipeng Turtles represented ten species of Divine Turtles, and these three types were perfectly suited for the duty of gatekeeping.

Turtles preferred solitude and minimal movent, sotis remaining stationary for hundreds of years, making them ideal for guarding entrances.

The group passed through the central region, traversing the prosperous Zengcheng, observing the scarlet waters encircling the city threefold, and marveling at the soaring Kunlun Peak and Xuanpu Fairyland. Their hearts were profoundly shaken and rendered speechless.

Only after setting foot on this sacred ground did they sense its overwhelming presence.

Originally, though they arrived as defeated forces, they ca with hopes for substantial cooperation, believing themselves essential to a strong alliance.

Now, it seed their participation mattered little to the larger outco.

Realizing this, they set aside their arrogance, adopting instead the respectful mindset of junior disciples revering the Ancestral Court.

Soon, they reached the peak of Kunlun.

The sun rose brightly.

Golden light bathed the entire summit, and clouds crowned the nine-tiered Immortal Palace with unparalleled majesty.

A sense of reverence overwheld them, compelling them to bow instinctively.

Kunlun was surrounded by countless tales of immortals and gods. This palace, visible only during certain tis, was seen by mortals as the cradle of creation—the pivot of Yin and Yang.

Soon, the group ascended to the summit.

In the Palace of the Polestar, they paid their respects to the Donghua Heavenly Master.

"Jianxin, it has been a while," Song Lin greeted warmly.

"Indeed, Heavenly Master, your brilliance is undiminished."

Once rivals, the two now spoke with formality and respect given their changed statuses.

After exchanging pleasantries, Jianxin, representing the newly pledged factions, posed the critical question.

"Heavenly Master, how may we integrate into the Donghua Taoist Alliance?"

The Sword Immortal thod was relatively straightforward, but many other factions carried inherently sinister legacies—thods ingrained deeply enough to defy straightforward replacent.

Previously, internal modifications within the Heaven and Earth Xuann Taoist Alliance were addressed by Xiao Mao True Monarch, who provided orthodox techniques enabling seamless transitions. However, such thods were not feasible for external groups.

"No worries," Song Lin said. "I have a secret technique for spiritual cultivation that can correct evil practices. This is the ultimate thod I intend to spread widely across the world. However, the full teaching will only be revealed during the assembly; for now, you may take a preliminary look."

Song Lin extended a finger lightly, conjuring a thin booklet before Jianxin’s eyes.

The cover read: Taiyi Golden Flower Scripture.

This was indeed the scripture—a culmination of Song Lin’s insights into the Pure Yang Dao and the secret techniques of multiple worlds.

A supre art for spiritual cultivation, transcending the limitations of demon tribulations.

Mastery of this technique would permit practitioners to correct their thods by attuning to the Spirit Platform Heavenly Heart.

Not only was this thod to be cultivated by mbers of the Donghua Taoist Alliance, but practitioners from other alliances, and even demons, were required to adopt it.

This was Song Lin’s vision for unifying the Three Realms and removing barriers between factions.

The scripture would beco an indispensable tool for conquering and assimilating lands.

Soon, the day of the Kunlun Assembly arrived.

Delegates from all corners surged into the venue.

This grand Conferred Gods Assembly carried monuntal significance, shaping the millennia-long and eternal destiny of this realm.
