The beautiful man felt a fervent gaze directed at him but when he checked who it was that was looking, he didn't see the person as the intense gaze only lasted for an instant. The beautiful man wondered just who it was who had such a gaze that made him feel uneasy because he hadn't felt this feeling in a long ti.
On the other hand, Nolan quickly subdued his impulses and quickly looked away. He didn't do this because he was afraid of the beautiful man, rather, he was afraid of the beautiful man running away before the hunt even began. Now that Nolan had cald down, he stood up and walked towards Loid's direction.
The young man was currently fuming with anger and jealousy. His fists and teeth were clenched, his eyes were like that of a crazed person.
“Excuse but can I join you.” said Nolan from afar. The reason he did this was so that the Loid's bodyguards didn't suddenly jump on him. Loid was about to refuse but Nolan continued speaking.
“I can help you get her and not just that, I can even create an opportunity for you to fuck her for a night.”
Seeing Loid not responding, one of the guards was about to chase Nolan away when Loid made a gesture to the man. The man then returned to his position and acted as if nothing happened. Nolan then took a seat and calmly faced Loid.
“Who are you and what's in it for you?” asked Loid.
Nolan was surprised not by Loid's question but by the fact that the young man spoke directly to this mind.
“Telepathy? Interesting. Let's just say I'm the type of guy who loves the heat but can't handle too much of it if you know what I an.” answered Nolan.
“No. No I don't know what you an so speak in a language I can understand otherwise leave!” said Loid coldly. He was already in a bad mood and Nolan's roundabout way of speaking annoyed him even more.
“I want to kill that guy but I'm afraid of whatever power is behind him. To kill him, I'm gonna need you to be my shield after the job is done. I don't want to lay my head low and live like a rat. I want my freedom even after I've killed him.”
“Hahaha, you have quite useful eyes. As you've deduced, I'm from the Roan Kingdom and I can definitely protect you after the job is done but I have one condition, I want that man's corpse after the job is done.”
“No can do! Absolutely no can do! You can take whatever is on his body or in his storage artifact but the body's mine and I won't trade it for anything.” shouted Nolan.
“Fine, you can keep the corpse but I want proof of the man's death, physical proof! And I also want to know what exactly you plan to do with his corpse.”
“Deal. As for corpse, of course I'm going to eat it, what else do you think I'm gonna do with it?”
“Eat it?!”
“Yes. I don't know if you've realised but that man looks very tasty and delicious.” Nolan's eyes gleaned as he also drooled just thinking about him.
Looking at Nolan's eyes, Loid felt like he was in a sea of blood and within this sea, sothing was swimming around in circles but he couldn't see what exactly it was and the mont he let his guard down, a massive mouth with rows of razor sharp teeth devoured him whole and he ca back to reality.
“Aargh!!!” he scread. His entire body was drenched in sweat and his face was pale. His eyes were full of dread as he looked at Nolan.
“You… you… what are you?!” asked Loid.
“A carnivore. A carnivore on the road to becoming an apex predator.” said Nolan nonchalantly.
“Let give you a piece of advice, don't probe into my mind or you might just go crazy, this is a friendly warning. The last ti soone did that, their head exploded.”
Loid suddenly felt that the person he was working with was far more dangerous than any person he'd t in his life. More dangerous than even his parents. He knew that if he wanted to work with Nolan, he had to calculate every step he took.
“And the girl. How do you plan on convincing her to sleep with because she clearly has no interest in . Are you going to drug her or sothing, if so then that won't work, she can detect all kinds of poisons, even colourless, tasteless and ordourless one's.”
“Oh her. Its quite simple actually. We're going to kidnap her and then you'll just fuck her, nothing to worry about.”
“What?! But what if she doesn't want to sleep with ?”
“Are you an idiot? If she doesn't want to then you'll obviously fuck her by force. Haven't you done that before?” said Nolan while looking at Loid like he was an idiot.
“You an… rape her?!”
“Yes. If you can't have her heart, at least you'll have her body, it's better than nothing. Plus, courting girls is just too troubleso, especially those who don't like you but lead you along. I've raped won plenty of tis before and the experience… out of this world.”
‘What the fuck have I gotten myself into? This dude is crazy!’ thought Loid to himself.
After a few minutes of thinking, Loid finally agreed but said that him and Nolan had to sign a Blood Contract. He took out an old parchnt from his space ring and filled in the content of the deal then dropped so blood of his blood on it. Nolan had never seen this thod before and was quite intrigued, he read the contract and saw that nothing was amiss and also dropped so of his blood on it. The parchnt was then engulfed in flas and turned to ashes.
“I truly hope that we can have a long term cooperation and not stab each other in the back. Also, that punishnt for anyone who breaches the contract is quite severe but I like that.” said Nolan.
“How do I contact you?” asked Loid.
“Give your Star Watch Account, after I buy one for myself, I'll contact you then.” answered Nolan.
“That might take a while. Here, use this one, I usually keep a spare just jn case sothing happens to the one I'm using. After you've created an account. Give a holla.” said Loid as he gave Nolan a transparent watch as thin as a booklet. It looked similar to the tablet Lord Jas used to create their QRC's.
Nolan took it and pressed it on his left wrist where his QRC was and as soon as he did that, the watch released a green light that scanned his QRC and filled itself with necessary information. Nolan then answered so questions and in a few minutes, he was done. He then greeted Loid using the ssaging app on the watch that had turned completely invisible.
“We shall et again when I've completed my part of the promise.” Nolan then stood up and left. Loid looked at his back for a long ti before he also chose to leave.
“Let's go… ho!”
