Chapter 881: 867, you should be afraid of him (3)

“Yuyu!” Before Zhou Qi could speak, An Chong gave her a warning glance.

An Yu lowered her head, saying nothing verbally, but her heart was still filled with resentnt and jealousy.

Why did her uncle so dearly love and indulge Jian Qing and Jian Luo, while her own father was so cold to her? Why couldn’t he be like her uncle to Jian Qing, she would have been satisfied with even half of that affection.

The door to the ward pushed open, and the An family mbers looked up to see who was coming in and couldn’t help but freeze for a mont.

They had seen Bai Jue before, but the other one they had not.

Black Jack swept them a faint glance and walked past them, heading straight for the inner room.

“So arrogant, no manners at all,” An Yu murmured.

Bai Jue walked up behind, just in ti to hear her comnt. He paused, turned around slowly with a sneering smile on his lips, “Who are you saying has no manners, hmm?”

“What if I’m talking about him? Did I say sothing wrong?” An Yu replied defiantly.

Bai Jue leaned to one side, crossing his arms, “A count from Y Country is soone you can criticize freely?”

With that, the air suddenly grew silent.

Watching An Yu’s eyes widen, Bai Jue turned and walked into the inner room.

A count?

As the door to the inner room closed, the An family looked at each other, at a loss for words.

After a while, Jian Luo and his entourage ca out, leaving only Uncle Qiu to take care of Old Master An in the inner room.

“Jian Luo, where is Aman?” An Chong imdiately asked upon seeing Jian Luo.

In the corner, Zhao Xuan’s face turned pale with the ntion of An Man’s na.

An Man, could it be that she didn’t die?

“Achong, what happened to Aman?” Zhou Qi imdiately asked.

“Aman was taken away by them yesterday,” An Chong said.

Jian Luo glanced at his wristwatch, a slight smile curling at the corner of his lips. “What’s the rush?”

“Azhe, you heard it, your son took away Aman, what exactly are you planning to do?” Zhou Qi asked furiously.

“What we intend to do, you will know very soon.”

The cold voice rose, chilling like the depths of an icy cave.

Everyone turned to see Quan Jingwu and Jian Qing walking in side by side.

“Jian Qing, what sort of ga are you trying to play now?” Zhou Qi pushed aside An Yu and waited for him with a nacing glare, demanding.

“Bring the person in,” Jian Qing said coldly, ignoring her.

All eyes turned to the door, and in the next second, when they saw the person being brought in, their faces were filled with shock.

What on earth was going on?

“Mom!” Dressed in plain grey clothes, An Man, seeing Zhou Qi, couldn’t help but get teary and choked up as she called out.

Zhao Xuan, upon seeing An Man, staggered, montarily thrown into panic.

Damn it, how could she be here unhard, what on earth did those people do.

Zhou Qi snapped back to reality and rushed up in haste, “Aman, are you alright, did they do anything to you?”

“Mom, where’s Chengcheng?” An Man asked urgently about the well-being of Xiang Cheng, “They said Chengcheng is dead, is that true?”

“This…” Zhou Qi stuttered.

Seeing this, what else could An Man fail to understand? Her haggard face turned even paler, and she suddenly exploded, “Mom, you promised to take good care of Chengcheng, how could he die? What on earth happened?”

“Let her go,” Jian Qing ordered.

The bodyguard holding An Man released his grip and stepped aside.

Without the restraints, An Man grabbed Zhou Qi’s hands, and tears stread down uncontrollably as she hysterically demanded, “Why is my Chengcheng gone? You have to tell .”

“An Man, calm down.” Zhou Qi looked at the crazed An Man and began to resent Zhao Xuan, “An Man, it was Zhao Xuan who was taking care of Xiang Cheng. I’m heartbroken that he’s dead too, I really didn’t expect such a thing to happen when he was left in her care.”

“Zhao Xuan?”

An Man paused briefly and quickly looked around the hospital ward, searching for Zhao Xuan’s figure.

Zhao Xuan tried to hide behind the curtains to minimize her presence, but under the watchful eyes of everyone, even if she wanted to hide, there was nowhere to hide.

“Zhao Xuan, where do you think you’re going to hide?”

An Man rushed over, her burst of speed driven by agitation was several tis faster than normal. Upon seeing this, Zhao Xuan panicked and tried to run to An Chong for protection.

“Zhao Xuan, stop right there.”

An Man cut off Zhao Xuan’s path, grasping her throat with both hands, her words flecked with spit, “Zhao Xuan, you owe

my son, you owe

my Chengcheng.”

“Cough, cough–”

With her face turning red, Zhao Xuan looked at the irrational An Man and desperately sought help from An Chong, “Achong, save .”

“Big cousin, please let go of my mom.” An Yu and An Yun ran over and pulled her away, “We can talk this out, don’t be like this.”

“Let go of , let go.” An Man, engulfed in the pain of losing her son, had lost all reason. The strength surging out of her was so great that even An Yun and his sister couldn’t hold her back and were tossed aside.

Zhao Xuan, clutching her neck, quickly hid behind An Chong.

“An Man, you need to calm down.” An Chong glanced at Zhao Xuan hiding behind him, his gaze darkening, and he reached out to block An Man’s flailing arms.

“How can I be calm, my Chengcheng is gone because of her, how can you tell

to be calm?” An Man slapped his hand away, her eyes bloodshot as she glared at Zhao Xuan, wishing she could tear her apart.

“An Man, this is all a misunderstanding. I had the doctors try their best to save him, but he was determined to die. If you don’t believe , you can ask the doctors yourself,” Zhao Xuan peered out from behind An Chong and explained.

“I don’t care, Zhao Xuan, my son’s death is not over with you,” An Man roared, “Now you’ve lost the ans to threaten

too, if I can’t live well, neither will you.”

“What ans to threaten you?” An Chong caught the key point in her words, “An Man, explain yourself, what exactly was your plan with Zhao Xuan?”

“Nothing, Achong, don’t listen to her ranting.” Seeing An Man losing her mind, as if determined to drag her down to hell, Zhao Xuan quickly spoke up, “An Man is resentful towards

now, don’t listen to her spouting nonsense.”

“Ha!” An Man let out an ironic cold laugh, “Zhao Xuan, feeling anxious now? It makes sense, my elder brother is also here, you should be afraid of him.”

Zhao Xuan pushed An Chong aside, lunged forward, and grasped An Man’s throat, gritting her teeth, “What nonsense are you talking, don’t try to fra .”

“Zhao Xuan, are you feeling guilty?” An Man was no pushover either. She grabbed Zhao Xuan’s hair with both hands, and the two of them started fighting.

For a mont, the scene turned even more chaotic.

“Enough.” An Chong pulled Zhao Xuan away, and An Yun pulled An Man away. Both won, with their hair ssed up, looked like madwon.

“Why did you bring her here? Are you conspiring with her to slander , to pin so fabricated charges on ?” Zhao Xuan looked at Jian Qing and shouted, “I won’t let you succeed, don’t try to falsely accuse .”

Jian Qing’s gaze paused for a mont, then he scoffed coldly, “Zhao Xuan, aren’t you curious why An Man is here, aren’t you wondering how, despite you bribing soone to poison her food, she can still stand here alive and well?”

“Poisoning?” Zhou Qi was alard, and so was An Man, clearly unaware of the incident.
