Sitting at the main seat of the hall was a middle-aged man in his 50s, with long black hair and a grizzled gray beard on his face. Despite his handso facial features, it was obvious that the man had aged considerably over the years, with wrinkles filling his forehead and sparse gray hair adorning the crown of his head.
As for the middle-aged woman by his side, she seed to be in her late 40s but her eyes were still sparkling with a youthful look as she looked at the lively 12-year-old girl inside the hall.
Looking at Shun Fang and Shun An who had clearly grown older since the last ti he had seen them, Shun Long couldn't help but feel a wave of lancholy in his heart as he mumbled to himself
''Father... mother.''
A mont later, both he and Liu i appeared silently in the courtyard outside the main hall, their gazes fixed on the large wooden gate.
Inside the hall, Lin Huefeng who was smiling at the young girl in front of her suddenly widened her eyes before her figure shot out of the main hall at full speed, under Shun Fang's, Shun An's, and the girl's alard gazes.
''Auntie Lin...?''
''Huefeng, what's wrong?''
The young girl and Shun An couldn't help but exclaim as they realized sothing was wrong, while Shun Fang shot up from his seat as well. None of them knew what was going on, but anything that could alarm an expert like Lin Huefeng was enough to warrant everyone's attention.
However, as she swung the doors of the main hall open, Lin Huefeng who was about to confront the newcors suddenly froze on the spot, her expression changing as she stared at the two figures in front of her, before she said in a trembling voice
''...ii?''
Taking a step forward, Liu i pulled the middle-aged woman in a long embrace as she whispered
''I am back, mother.''
Tears welled up in Lin Huefeng's eyes as Liu i's gentle voice entered her ears, before a dazzling smile appeared on both the mother's and the daughter's face as they looked at each other.
Then Lin Huefeng turned to look at Shun Long, her smile turning even more pronounced as she was about to talk to him. However, it was at this mont that Shun An and the young girl rushed out of the hall, followed by Shun Fang.
Shun An wanted to ask Lin Huefeng what was wrong, but as she glanced at the two familiar figures inside the courtyard, her frail body visibly trembled before tears started to flow down her eyes uncontrollably.
''Long'er!'' Looking at the azure-robed youth she hadn't seen in more than a decade, the beautiful middle-aged woman could no longer keep her composure as she rushed forward and tightly hugged him.
Even Shun Fang who usually wore that carefree smile on his face trembled as he looked at his son, montarily forgetting both Liu i and the 12-year-old young girl as he hurried forward as well.
''...You brat!'' Shun Fang's voice choked with emotions as he looked at Shun Long, unable to even form a complete sentence.
Shun Long could tell that there were too many things his father wanted to say to him at this mont, but in the end, all that ca out of his mouth was that single sentence.
''Father, mother, I've missed you too.'' Silence filled the courtyard for the next few monts, before Shun Long's reunion with his parents was eventually interrupted by a youthful voice
''Mother... is that person my elder brother?''
The young girl was now looking at Shun Long with her round eyes filled with curiosity and admiration... but also a hint of fear.
And yet, Shun Long rely smiled at her without saying anything.
From the mont he laid eyes on her, he had already guessed that this young girl who closely resembled his mother was most likely related to him.

Raising her head, she then looked at the handso young man in front of her and blushed montarily, before she spoke in a squeaky voice

Shun Long smiled and patted the young girl's head
''Fenfen, huh? Alright then. Since this is our first eting, I'll have to give you sothing nice to celebrate it, but before that...'' Shun Long stopped his sentence midway and turned to look at his parents as he continued
''Father, mother, let's heal your dantians first.''
''...What?''
This ti, it wasn't just Shun Fang and Shun An, but even Lin Huefeng who was visibly stunned. Her beautiful eyes could no longer conceal her shock as she stared at Shun Long with an incredulous gaze.
