When the torch touched the gasoline, the fire spread so quickly that Leah instinctively took a step back.

She grinned as she watched the flas begin to engulf the wooden structure. By the ti the guards noticed the fire, it would be too late. The entire building was made of wood, and it would be impossible for Sisi and Jojo to escape.

"Now all I need to do is find that idiot in the doctor’s office and kill her," Leah muttered to herself as she turned around, ready to grab a knife and slash Ruela’s neck for the second ti to finish the job she had failed to do before.

However, the mont she turned around, she saw none other than Diane, the head maid, standing there with several guards, their weapons drawn.

Diane smirked at Leah, who was stunned by their presence.

"Well, look what we have here—a treacherous maid who wants to kill the little prince and her own mistress. What a spectacle you are, Leah."

Leah’s first instinct was to defend herself and deny everything, but it was impossible. Everyone present had witnessed her pouring gasoline and tossing the torch onto it.

So all she could do was remain silent and wait for her death.

"Seize her," Diane ordered.

The guards imdiately grabbed Leah’s arms and forced her to kneel.

Leah knew her fate was sealed. There was no escaping it—this was outright treason. She had planned to kill the future queen and the crown prince.

Yet, as she faced her impending death, she didn’t feel much regret. At least she had brought down both Sisi and Jojo.

If she couldn’t have the Beast King for herself, then he should grieve over them.

Her only regret was Ruela.

’If only I hadn’t hesitated,’ Leah thought bitterly. ’I would’ve killed that idiot bitch too.’

Leah looked up at Diane with a twisted grin, "But it’s too late now. The fire must’ve spread through the entire main building. It’s all made of wood. Your filthy mistress and that whiny little bitch boy must be burning inside—and they’ll burn in hell too! Ahahahaha!"

Diane stared at the crazed maid and sighed in annoyance, "You’re truly an idiot, aren’t you?"

Leah’s maniacal laughter stopped when she realized Diane didn’t look afraid at all.

"Why would I let you pour gasoline and drop the torch if I knew it would burn the building?" Diane asked calmly. "Obviously, the main building is fireproof, you idiot."

"But it’s made of wood!" Leah protested.

"And each piece of wood has been coated with a special glue-like liquid to prevent termite infestation—and house fires," Diane replied. "If you don’t believe , see for yourself."

Diane ordered the guards to turn Leah around so she could see her handiwork.

Just as Diane said, there was no fire.

The mont the torch touched the gasoline and ignited, the substance coating the wood doused the flas and released a powerful stench that alerted the entire palace.

The sll was so strong that everyone was awakened instantly.

"And don’t think you can kill Ruela after this, Leah," Diane added. "Mistress Sisi instructed the guards to continue protecting her even if sothing happened in the palace."

Leah was completely defeated.

Not only had she ruined her own life, she had failed to bring down the people she hated the most.

She looked at Diane in defeat but didn’t bother begging for forgiveness. Diane held no power over her fate anyway.

"What are you going to do with now?" Leah asked. "Execute ?"

"I wish I could," Diane scowled. "But I’ll bring you to the Mistress. She will deliver the judgnt."

The guards didn’t bother carrying her. They dragged Leah across the rocky ground toward the front of the main building, where General Pell, Garou, and nurous guards and maids had gathered to witness her judgnt.

Standing on the porch of the main building was Mistress Sisi. Her eyes followed Leah as she was dragged forward and thrown at her feet in front of everyone in the Queen’s courtyard.

Leah hadn’t been roughed up yet, but she looked weak and small, like a speck of dust before Sisi and the assembled beastn.

"Raise your head," Sisi ordered.

Leah refused, too ashad to obey.

So Sisi repeated, her voice calm and firm, "Raise your head, Leah of the Silvertooth Pack."

The mont Sisi ntioned Leah’s pack, audible gasps rippled through the crowd.

ntioning a pack ant the entire clan could be punished alongside her if Leah continued to defy Mistress Sisi.

But Leah didn’t care.

She had no family left in that pack anyway. If this dragged them down with her, then so be it.

After all, it was also their fault her parents had died in a war against another wolf pack. If they had protected her parents better, she wouldn’t have grown up an orphan.

Besides, if the entire pack fell with her, then Ruela would die too. It was still a win-win.

But Sisi wouldn’t give her that satisfaction.

She turned to the crowd and said, "Anyone from the Silvertooth Pack, step forward and stand behind this treacherous maid."

Four beastn—two maids and two guards—stepped out from the crowd and stood behind Leah.

They looked nervous, fully aware of the risk of being punished simply for sharing the pack with the treacherous maid.

They wanted to kneel, but since Sisi had ordered them to stand, they did exactly that.

Sisi smiled at them and said;

"I am not an unfair tyrant who punishes others simply because they belong to the sa clan as a criminal."

Hearing that eased them slightly. They had truly thought their lives would be at stake simply because Leah had gone mad and planned to kill the Mistress and the Little Prince.

However, Sisi wasn’t finished yet. She continued with another order,"But I want the four of you to help make this treacherous maid lift her head, so she can face ."

"If she doesn’t want to look in the eyes, then let her fellow clansn help her."
