OH, it’s starting to cool down.
Tilly thought the Hellfire would burn her alive.
To be honest, it would have been (un)funny if the Supre Fire Mage died from Hellfire. Granted that it was the Hellfire, it would have still been ironic if she died from it.
Because I’m supposed to be the personification of the Red and Black fla.
Thankfully, the crab mallet assured her that she wouldn’t get burned alive.
The crab mallet’s excited voice snapped her out of her idle thoughts.
When Tilly opened her eyes, she realized that the Hellfire was gone. Not even a flicker of that horrible fla remained. Moreover, not an inch of her skin was burned from the incident.
She was half-amazed and half-scared of herself.
I can absorb even the Hellfire?
Tilly wasn’t the only who was surprised by it.
"How did you do it?"
Right? That’s what I want to know, too.
But Tilly didn’t want to appear clueless in front of the enemy, so she faced Yumi with the sa arrogance that she always showed her. "I’m the Supre Fire Mage. Of course, not even the Hellfire could burn ."
Yumi, still in the form of the giant white snake, let out a cry that sounded like a sharp hiss of hundreds of snakes.
Argh.
It kind of hurt Tilly’s ears.
We should really end this now.
Excuse ???
Tilly’s eyes widened in shock. "You should have said so from the beginning!"
Haaah.
She was pissed that the crab mallet didn’t say its main function right away, but she was relieved to know that being almost burned alive was actually worth it.
Now I can fight using the Hellfire that almost killed .
"Let’s do this," Tilly said, gripping the crab mallet’s handle tighter. "Yumi, let’s end this cursed mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship that we have."
Yumi just hissed, and the White Snake gigantic body charged at Tilly.
Haaah.
She was reminded of her mother-in-law’s painful past.
But she also couldn’t forget that this person tried to kill her family.
I’m sorry, Yumi— I hope you get reborn as a good person in a good environnt in your next life.
That was her sincere wish.
And then Tilly swung the crab mallet, releasing a huge amount of Hellfire that consud the White Snake rcilessly.

WINTER made a stupid mistake.
He accidentally called Kalel Moonchester ’Dad,’ and now his father was suspicious of him.
"Child, answer my question truthfully."
Winter gulped before he nodded politely. "Of course, my noble lord."
"What exactly does "dad" an?" Kalel Moonchester asked curiously. "I do get what it ans based on the context that you have given. However, this is the first ti I’ve heard that word be used when referring to one’s father. Where did you co from, child? Is that a word that’s only used in your village?"
Hmm.
To be honest, Winter wasn’t good at lying.
And he really didn’t want to lie to his father.
But I need to protect my identity until I gain their trust.
"Child, don’t even think about lying," Kalel Moonchester warned him, his red eyes glowing. "I can tell if you’re telling the truth or not. And once you lie to , you know what will happen to you."
Oh, no.
His father’s threat gave Winter a chill down his spine.
However, he didn’t waver.
Omitting so detaiuls in a truth doesn’t make it a lie, right?
"I don’t know what this place is, my noble lord," Winter said calmly. "For have I co from the future."
Here goes nothing.
"You ca from the future?" Kalel Moonchester asked, and it was obvious that he was more suspicious of Winter now more than ever. "Child, you have to show proof. Otherwise, I’ll be forced to kick you out of my estate. You might also get punished for lying to ."
Haaah.
Winter already expected it, but this version of his father was really scary.
Even Julian looked scared of their father.
However, it was also obvious that Julian was worried about him.
My older brother is really a softie.
"Let correct myself, my lord," Winter said, bowing his head. After he cald down, he found a way to save himself from the mistake that he had made. He just wished that his new trick would work this ti. "I can see things that happened in the past and things that will happen in the future. Whenever I receive a vision, I feel like I’m really there. Hence, I said that I ca from the future. But it was just my consciousness wandering between the past and the future."
Whew.
Winter was glad that his mother was a good liar— er, a good storyteller.
I inherited my mother’s wits.
"Interesting," Kalel Moonchester said. "I have no way to confirm if you can truly see the future since we have to wait for that to happen. So, tell sothing that happened in the past— sothing that a child your age couldn’t possibly have witnessed."
That was easy.
In fact, that was the reason why Winter corrected himself.
I might die, but it’s worth the risk.
"A woman with red flas," Winter said, gulping. "I saw a woman who looks similar to a red phoenix by my lord’s side— and her heart was missing."
And, just like that, the entire room had turned into what seed like an igloo.

THE DEITY guarding the Plane was shaken.
It seed like the Supre Fire Mage had used the Plane’s power unconsciously once again.
And the recipient of the Supre’s "wish" ca as a surprise.
Does she really want the White Snake to be reincarnated?
